We had a great experience staying at Todd's charming red school house. It was very clean, cozy and comfortable. We were three adults and one dog and it was more than spacious enough for all of us. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, the beds are super comfortable, TV screen nice and big and easy to use, fast wifi, and climate control was easy to use and responsive (which was important to us as we needed heat on this unseasonably cold Memorial Day weekend!). Our dog absolutely loved exploring the lush grassy spaces outside and the screened in gazebo is a really nice touch. Such a peaceful location in the countryside but just minutes drive to downtown Glens Falls. Parking couldn't have been easier - you can pull your car right up to the front door. We highly recommend staying here!

We booked Jared and Beverly’s home for my family (my two oldest kids, spouses and grandson) during our daughter’s wedding weekend at Gables and Gardens. The home is beautiful and the kitchen and downstairs bathroom are a dream! We spent time on the back porch assembling flowers for the wedding and the sunset was incredible. We had a few small hiccups and Jared and Beverly were incredibly responsive and fixed things immediately which we appreciated so much! Overall we’re very pleased with our stay and we would love to stay again if we’re ever in the area!

This home was very quiet, private, and comfortable. It was exactly as described. The hosts were very informative and kind. This home was filled with just about anything you would need being away from home. The deer and birds were fun. I hope that I can make a return trip.

From the moment we turned into the lane shaded by ancient sugar maples, we knew this place would be special, and with each new discovery—-of the spacious, bright, chef-worthy kitchen and the many delicious treats, the enclosed herb and flower garden with long tables under an arbor (and the lovely gardener’s invitation to cut a bouquet) the top-quality pickleball court with an abundance of balls, the mowed paths that led across fields, up hills to even more spectacular views, and through wooded copses, and the delight of the thoughtful, sophisticated and totally comfortable interior design—-we felt at home and cared for, honored guests rather than renters. Delia stopped by to greet us. She and her husband seem to be loving stewards of this extraordinary property, and we were grateful to have experienced its magic.

Wonderful stay in an incredibly beautiful location! The home and surrounding property absolutely took our breath away. Also clean and cozy, with plenty of opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. Stayed in the area in order to participate in a local triathlon, but would very much like to come back here just to relax and enjoy this blissful escape in beautiful Vermont.

Great comfortable cabin. Clean and plenty of space for everyone with open floor plan. Me and my wife loved sitting by the wood stove at night as everyone else were either in the kitchen or watching TV. Great location and will definitely come back.

Our family had a great time at this beautiful cabin in the woods! We truly enjoyed exploring the property with our pups, who LOVED walking the trails out back! Our hosts provided helpful and clear instructions for accessing the property and the cabin was exactly as described and had everything we needed for our long relaxing weekend. We had a great stay and would certainly stay again in the future!

The house was very charming and had a stunning view of the lake from most rooms of the house. Spacious bedrooms too with nice big basement and sunroom. Loved the lake environment. Great spot for fishing and water activities. The family had great time with the kayaks and pedal boat. Great spot for a relaxing and peaceful getaway.

We had a wonderful & relaxing weekend here with a large group for my sister's lowkey bachelorette party. Even with a day of non-stop pouring rain, we were perfectly content with staying in and enjoying the coziness of the house. We had a blast watching the chickens roam around and hanging out with the overly-friendly barn cats while we sat outside. The goats & pigs were happy to greet us at the fence every time. The hot tub and pool were perfect! Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a beautifully scenic and peaceful getaway. Thanks, Sarah & BBVF team!

Me and My friends stayed here for a celebration was really worth the money, We had a great time it was very spacious Multiple rooms. She even laid out some extra beds for us! Great place to stay i would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a little time to themselves or just a get away from the city or just want to relax!!

We had a great stay at Kimberly's! The place was larger than we expected, with lots of space to hang out and cook in the kitchen. She had games for us to use when we had some friends over and we all loved the "Party Barn" for grilling and sitting by the fire! The backyard was gorgeous and great for our pup to run around and play in.

The Host is amazing, always responsive, and makes you feel like Family! Anyone who gets the opportunity to stay at "Home", will be better for it!

If you are reading this review.. BOOK this place right now. I have stayed in over 50 AirBnB’s across the US and this one stands out on another level. The attention to detail in every corner. The cleanliness. The amazing hospitality with the host walking us around the entire place giving us a tour. All the games blankets full bar and kitchen utensils were an amazing touch. I would easily go back. Loved this cabin so much it was home away from home. Did a small friend’s gathering for New Year’s Eve we spent 4 days here and didn’t want to leave. I’m telling you, if you see this review just book it. There isn’t a better option.

What a lovely stay. The area was very serene and beautiful. The hosts were wonderful. Highly recommend for a get away of peace and taking in the beautiful surroundings.

OUR STAY WAS GREAT! THERE WERE 10 IN OUR PARTY AND THERE WAS PLENTY OF ROOM FOR ALL! WE WERE ON MOTORCYCLES AND HAD A RAIN DAY BUT IT WORKED OUT GREAT. PLENTY OF ROOM FOR PEOPLE TO SPREAD OUT. SOME NAPPED, PLAYED GAMES AND BINGE WATCHED NETFLIX. WE EVEN HAD ONE PERSON JUMP IN THE POOL OUR FIRST NIGHT THERE! WITH A GROUP THIS LARGE WE UTILIZED BOTH KITCHENS WHEN COOKING MEALS. IT WAS A GREAT WEEKEND. THE AREA IS BEAUTIFUL!

Tucked away on a private road, this place was perfect for some rest and relaxation. My daughter and I spent our short time there sitting by the lake, shopping at the outlets and just doing nothing (which was the point of this getaway). I would definitely stay again!

5 stars at this Airbnb. Away from the hustle, close drives to fun, dining, activities. Very comfortable, great Apple TV. Amazing views of VT right through the kitchen window with an accessible trail across a beautiful bridge. Quiet at all times, plenty of hot water, amazing host. I can’t say enough good things to highly recommend this listing.

Kelsey was responsive and went above & beyond to inform us of weather that would affect our arrival. She offered to refund but agreed to refund partial. We went later and stayed one night. Instructions for finding a parking and pathway were clear. We meandered to the farm and were welcomed. They have a garden shop with coffee and local produce and items easy to cook in the fireplace. There's some historical displays upstairs, so ask for a tour! We found the trail completely sloshed from recent torrential rain, were glad we delayed, & even more glad we came for the remaining reservation. We found the open air cabin exactly as described which Kelsey had reiterated in our early communication. The beds have allergen covers, & we all slept very well. The firewood was plenty. They supplied matches, kindling, ample drinking water, board games, and mosquito nets for beds. We will be booking again. We relaxed & enjoyed no screens family time. Short walk to river. Go!

Cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed ,a perfect retreat after a long day. Host was responsive and the location made exploring the area super easy!

We had a wonderful time at Mary’s place. The house was warm and inviting, clean and had everything we needed and more. The surrounding area was peaceful, beautiful, and the perfect getaway from the city for us and our dogs. Mary was welcoming and responded promptly whenever we had questions. Highly recommend!

Robins place was just as described. Stunning. Right on the Hudson RiverWe got to see lots of boats of all kinds and the weather couldn’t have been better The place was very clean. Robin responded quickly to anything. I would definitely recommend this place

I had the best time ever at Kimberly’s cabin. Needed a mental reset and this was the perfect place to get away. my dog enjoyed running around the giant field. The 360 degree view of the mountains and sky is amazing. I loved exploring all of the nearby villages. the little IGA in Cambridge had good, affordable food options. I had so much fun, I am definitely coming back.
