Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Wappapello

Beautiful deck on the river. Linens were of high quality. Everything was just as described. Highly recommend.

My husband and I gathered with our adult daughters and mates for a post-holiday weekend. Doniphan was close to the epicenter of our three home bases. Scotty’s Sunny Spot and host DeYanna were great and we had a wonderful weekend. The house was nicely decorated and a perfect size for the six of us. We enjoyed the living room - and the kitchen was amazing. We also appreciated the several extras provided (a bowl of candy, coffee bar syrups, spices and baggies, etc.). The beds were comfortable and bathrooms beautiful. DeYanna was responsive to questions and quickly resolved a small issue.

Another great stay -- our second -- in the Red Roof Cabin. Very comfortable (including the bed), clean, updated decor and well-equipped. Conveniently close to Piedmont Park and Clearwater Lake. Highly recommend. (We'll be back!) Note that we didn't have a cell phone signal in the house or anywhere in the neighborhood, but the wifi is good.

Such a lovely place to stay!! We had a blast!! If you visit the area Kellies place is a must stay!! Clean homey and has everything you can ask for!! Nice peaceful area!! I’ve traveled all over the world and Kellie’s place is a 10/10!!!

The house was beautiful, and it was exactly what we needed. Misty was a great communicator and was friendly and quickly responsive when I had questions or needed to communicate. I was staying here on a school trip with several teenagers for a Student Council Convention when Poplar Bluff was hit by intense storms and tornadoes. The house was perfect and we felt safe and secure in the basement. We had no problems during our stay and will gladly stay again if the opportunity presents itself!

Great place where I was able to enjoy some quiet, space, and privacy (nice break from hotels). Great host and wow, the stars at night. Nice little lake nearby. Yes, I recommend.

The home was beautiful and the sunroom was the best part of the home my family really appreciated relaxing in there together. I would book here again if I ever considered coming back to poplar bluff!

One of the best I have ever stayed at. This place was perfect! Beautiful location. Everything was perfect. They went over and above to make this an awesome place to stay. Decorated very cute, the outside porch that overlooked the lake was so nice to sit on and listed to the wildlife. The mother of the host was there and was so nice to visit with when we checked in. They left snacks for us. It was spotless clean and had everything we needed and more. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was large, had ice in the freezer for us and front porch light on for our arrival. This is a place that all airbnd should stive to be.

Absolutely perfect!!! Our family was looking for a place big enough to comfortably accommodate us. There were seven of us & we were celebrating three birthdays. Julie's place certainly fit the bill! Our entire family loves Current River! Even though we are in the cold month of February, we could still enjoy the beauty of the river & it's surroundings. Magnificent views from River Blue Cabin! The cabin was very welcoming. The layout was great for our bunch. The added bonus of having two separate living areas & kitchens was perfect! It was cozy yet everyone had their space. The kitchens were very well set up with most everything you might need. ( Liked the coffee mugs so much in the upstairs kitchen that I ordered a set for home.) Our host, Julie, was very accommodating & so responsive! There were four generations of us staying in River Blue Cabin & we had a great experience! Many laughs & memories made! Thank you for allowing us to share your beautiful cabin!!!

Alberta’s place was exactly as described-cozy, peaceful, private, and clean! The hot tub and fire pit set up was a highlight, and the beautiful surroundings gave such a relaxed feeling to the stay. We even discovered an owl on our first night and got to watch it every day! Alberta was very responsive and eager to meet our needs, and added personal touches to our stay for our anniversary celebration. The kitchen was well stocked, bathroom clean, and the whole place is clearly well taken care of. We definitely would stay here again if we’re in the area! Five stars all around!

We had a great stay! Our favorite part was the outdoor pavilion and fireplace.

The cabins are perfect for a stay on the black river. The location is free of light pollution. You can see the stars, walk to the river, there is a kitchen, barbecue grill, fire pit. I will be back!

we had a great experience here! It was so quiet! No road noise. Just the sounds of nature and the occasional train. It was a beautiful setting. We would certainly come back.
