Lake house holiday rentals in Wallowa Lake

We had a wonderful time at the listing. The host was responsive, the home was beautiful and our first night it snowed. It was so magical watching the snow come in over the lake while sitting across from the fireplace. We were astounded by the craftsmanship that went into the home as well. We look forward to coming in the summer and enjoying the outdoor activities too. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

It was a pleasure to stay in Kathy’s “cabin” with the beautiful Wallowa Lake view and access. From the deck we watched the sunrise, and saw a bald eagle fly across the lake. We also took a refreshing dip in the cold lake a couple times. The whole experience was top notch!

This was the perfect place to relax and celebrate a special birthday. It far exceeded our expectations and the views are breathtaking!

Our new favorite at Wallowa Lake! We have come this time of year every year for the last 5. This place was awesome! We use the long weekend for a reset and relaxation weekend with our entire family. For 7 of us there was plenty of room and between board games and the pool table we were never board and always relaxed. Fun for everyone. Great place and I would recommend it to anyone as long as it’s not our weekend! Thank you very much for allowing us to share it!

We loved our stay out in Joseph! The house was very nice and decks had great views of Wallowa lake. We did have some trouble finding the right driveway, the directions were confusing and almost a little over complicated, and there wasn’t any signage at the top indicating it was the correct driveway. Otherwise it wasn’t difficult getting to the place. It was very beautiful and peaceful and we also enjoyed the seasonal dock. Joseph itself is a very quaint little town and we enjoyed walking around and visiting the various shops and local dining. We enjoyed some of the local activities including kayaking and hiking, and also went up on the tram for an impressive view and even road on the Joseph Branch Railriders! We would definitely consider coming back to visit Joseph and would be happy to stay here again!

Very quiet & peaceful location. Roomy home with large deck & bedroom balconies. We stayed in October, so the dock was out, but would be nice sumner stay in the lake!

As much as I’d love to gatekeep this home for myself, everyone should know how amazing this place is. We have been to Wallowa Lake quite a few times and this is our favorite pet friendly rental. Lia was a wonderful host and helped make our stay a memorable one. She was very responsive and had the best recommendations for activities, hikes and places to eat around town. The home was clean and spacious (there was more than enough room for my large family), the kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to chef it up, the kids area was perfect for my 2 littles, there are 2 large decks that over look the lake and was great for watching the sunrise and hanging out, my kids loved the soaking tubs on the bottom deck and it has its own private dock that is accessible from the home. This lakefront home is truly a magical oasis. If you are looking for a place to disconnect and recharge, this is it!! We will continue to come out year after year.

Greatl house with a stunning view. It is tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture and beds. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials for cooking meals. The very helpful information packet they have compiled has all the information you need to find just about all there is to do in the area. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home.

The house could use some work since it's settling in front and the doors a bit hard to close. Also one of the backrooms had an unfinished drywall ceiling since the drop ceiling has been removed but still everything worked fine for us and the view and location across the street from the lake are hard to beat! We had a wonderful time!

Beautiful views and creek for the kids to fish in.

It was a great experience staying at a Vacasa home. It was my first time staying at a property managed by Vacasa. Everything was as stated and the views here were amazing. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

This property was even better than the photos depicted! There is an amazing view from the front porch. The circle drive was handy to use with a boat and it was right across the street from the boat ramp. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the extra mattress and fold out bed were also nice to have. It was tastefully decorated. The sauna was an added bonus and the flowers in the front and back yard lent to the beauty of this fabulous place.

We loved our stay at this house. It was fully stocked and comfy! Great seating for meals and relaxing. Walking distance from the lake. Great yard space. The wild life we saw while we were there y mule deer, hummingbirds, a fox. I would say the vibe was “your family’s lake house” you could feel the generations of love and memories spent there. You could help but feel like part of the family there to make more memories. Thank you Veronica for giving us a space to make memories. ❤️

Our stay at Diane's home in Joseph was wonderful! I have stayed in many Airbnb's and this was truly one of the best. The star of the show is the stunning lake and mountain view throughout the home!! It was also immaculately clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay including a well stocked kitchen. Diane was a fantastic host. Very responsive whenever we reached out to her. I highly recommend her home and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Joseph.
