Holiday houses in Walloon Brabant

A beautifully furnished and well equipped home away from home. Catherine was very responsive and hospitable. Top recommends for this beautiful property!

Ik en 6 vrienden zijn 4 nachten in het huisje van Françoise verbleven. Voor de deur konden we beide auto's kwijt, wat erg prettig was. Alles zag er mooi en netjes uit, ook is het natuurlijk een heerlijk rustige omgeving waar je mooi kunt wandelen. Een supermarkt relatief in de buurt (5min met de auto) en verder genoeg binnen 30min rijden te doen. De matrassen leken eerst enigszins hard, maar deze sliepen prima! De douche op de 1e verdieping heeft niet zoveel waterdruk, maar ook dit was niet echt storend. Al met al is het huisje erg sfeervol, goed schoon en veel basisdingen die je vaak gebruikt zijn al in het huisje aanwezig (olie, kruiden, folie, etc.) Het contact met Françoise zelf was ook echt top! Vaak binnen 30 min/1 uur al een nuttig en vriendelijk antwoord. Bedankt Françoise!! wie weet tot een volgende keer ;)

Their are such an amazing host and I won’t blink if I have to go back there again. Peaceful and beautiful place away from home.

Notre séjour s’est très bien passé dans le studio appartement de Benoît. Bien placé pour visiter le château de la Hulpe et le lac de Genval

J'y séjournais une nuit dans le cadre du travail au retour de Bruxelles... Endroit chaleureux, apaisant, cosy et reposant. Situé dans le village d'Ecaussinnes qui est très accueillant, empreint d'un patrimoine historique. Idéal pour se déconnecter de la réalité entre deux journées de travail. Ambiance épurée, calme et relaxante. Très beau coin que je recommande vivement.

The setting of Marie's home (the immediate landscaping and the nearby fields and forests) was absolutely stunning, and Marie was a generous and gracious host! The space is quite unconventional (as seen in the photos - it's a bit of a mix of an events space and a flat), but it worked very well for our stay. One has to use a tight spiral staircase to get up to the flat, so this is something to keep in mind if you're traveling with small children or elderly persons. We would certainly stay there again!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Haus! Es war tadellos sauber und sehr einladend. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der große, gepflegte Garten. Das Grundstück ist komplett umzäunt, perfekt für Hunde. Die Umgebung war ruhig und ideal für entspannte Spaziergänge. Wir können dieses Haus nur wärmstens empfehlen. Kurt, der Gastgeber ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und antwortet sehr schnell. Vielen Dank für die großartige Gastfreundschaft!

The Matthieu home was perfect for our group of 6. We each had private space while still enjoying meals and relaxing together. The home is exquisitely designed and decorated - minimalistic at its finest. The blue stone on the outside of the home came from our family quarry which was fun to see. We brought our staff to Europe as one last hurrah before retiring at the end of the month. The trip was for them but we enjoyed watching Belgium through their wide eyes. This is the perfect home for a larger group!
