Waterfront holiday rentals in Waldo County

This was perfect for my solo vacation! It is in a perfect location, close driving distance to Camden and Belfast. But also right across from the beach and next to a great pizza place for the night I didn’t feel like venturing out. It feels private and peaceful even though it is right by the road. I loved having my coffee on the porch watching the boats. Thanks to the thick curtains and sound machine, I slept so well. Loved the tub, the comfy bed, the well stocked kitchen. I will be back!

We had such a lovely stay in Andrew's airbnb. Everything is just as described. The space is very peaceful, clean, and comfortable. Location was convenient and Belfast is a very walkable town. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

We had a wonderful stay in such a special accommodation. The hosts thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Even provided snacks and wine that we enjoyed on the back screened-in porch overlooking the river. It doesn’t get better than that! The kitchen was fitted out with new appliances, cooking implements, pots and pans—great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Location was great for visiting the National Park, Bar Harbor etc. An easy 1 hour drive. We felt Jay and Darryl really cared about creating an inviting, enjoyable hide-away for their guests. They really hit the mark!

I couldn’t ask for another place to stay at for vacation, it was a nice neighborhood close to all the attractions nearby. Roger also gave us higher quality food and drink contents instead of the cheapest options. Welcoming us in full arms and asked if we ever needed anything. If I was to plan another trip to Maine I would wait and see if Roger’s AirBNB was available. Thank you Roger for the great stay!

Super location, beautifully renovated space, great town! We enjoyed the indoor farmers market, matinee at the movies, hiking on the rail trail and Acadia, food at Dos Gatos, Delvinos, Must Be Nice Lobster, Spark Bagel, the Belfast Co-op, and a special dinner at Primo on Rockland.

The home was very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. It was unexpected but amazing to have everything one needs to cook lobster and a Thanksgiving turkey and fixings! David and Hannah were very responsive, welcoming and kind. What a beautiful location in downtown Belfast, very walkable with lovely views. Highly recommended!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Alison's Bucksport apartment. We did not meet Alison, but she was great at communicating with us. The apartment was clean and comfortable and as advertised on the listing page. The apartment's location is great for walking into town or along the town's river-front walking path. We especially enjoyed having our morning coffee while viewing the Penobscot River from the outdoor deck We had a minor issue during our stay, but it was quickly resolved after communicating with Alison. We would happily stay at the "Penthouse" on future visits!

Charming apartment with all you need while visiting Rockport and Camden. Cindy and Stephen were super friendly and helpful, even to the extent of finding a neighbor to jump start our car when the battery died overnight. Great location in a quiet tucked away neighborhood.

Loved being at the cabin for the week. Coffee outside on the lower porch, walks down to the pond, and the cool breeze through the house in the evenings. The house had everything we needed and more. Definitely stop by Hope general store if you’re staying here! Hostess was available but not invasive, great experience

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The hosts couldn’t have been any nicer. We loved the space was perfect for our needs. It was close to all that we needed but nice and quiet. The extra touches in the house like fresh flowers were lovely. Highly recommend this place.

There’s not enough words to say how wonderful Alana was from the initial booking to check out. We have booked a lot of Airbnb’s and this is our all time favorite. The location is amazing with the water view. I was so excited about the decor I spent an hour sending pictures to my daughter. We really loved the history behind the house too. This is our new go-to everytime we visit the area. Thank you for sharing such an incredible home!

Quickly became one of our favourite ever Airbnbs - such a beautiful space, perfect for the two of us and two friends to use as a base for exploring the Maine coast. Completely immaculate, perfectly laid out, and with a great outside area and shared/private beach which was great for beach combing even on greyer days. Highly recommend Amandine Bakery which is just a few minutes walk, and loved the Three Tides waterside restaurants in Belfast just a short drive away. Jason was very helpful, and quickly responded to any questions (not that we required a huge amount as the house was so well appointed!). Would love to return.

We really enjoyed our stay at Matthew’s place!! The view was incredible!! It was very peaceful and quiet. The upstairs did get a little warm but using the box fans and opening the windows in the evening helped. We loved the first floor living area, it was so comfortable, and did I mention the views?!!!

All the previous reviews indicated we would love this location, the setting, the caring of the host....we were inspired to join Airbnb to just be able to stay here!!! The beauty of the surroundings is remarkable and we admire the care taken to keep it in its refined natural state. We are so thankful we took the description and reviews to heart! We now have another great Maine memory!

Corie was so responsive with answers to questions about wifi and check-in to fun day trips we should try while we are there. The view of the lake is the best and the swimming was wonderful. Plus loved the paddle boat. Very relaxing!!

Enjoyed our stay. The screened in porch was our saving grace due to rainy weather. Very relaxing trip!
