We had a great time at this location. The view is incredible. The layout is so well designed. The toys were great for the kids and the kitchen had a lot of thoughtful supplies. We also enjoyed the proximity to great restaurants. Katie and Candice were great!

A great stay. Perfect place located in one of the residential areas of Kampala, a very good neighbor. Well secured apartment, we felt completely safe. Clean, well-equipped and modern apartment. Good customer service. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back. very nice experience. heart cost. I recommend it.

Great place and Edd is a great host. The airstrip can be a bit busy and noisy in the very early hours of the day, if an event takes place. The location is super central, pleasant and has all amenities. We had a great 3 months with a family of 4.

Ashraf's place is as displayed. Very clean and comfortable. The host was kind to let me checkin early and there was care taker on stand by to help with anything. Definately a rebook when in Kampala next.

Great location with necessary amenities provided if needed. Was great to have a restaurant right across the street and they had live music as well which made this experience fun and enjoyable.

Our experience was absolutely fantastic, and I cannot thank the Musiimentas enough for being such incredible hosts. They stayed in touch throughout our visit, frequently checking in to ensure we were comfortable and accommodating any needs we had with great flexibility. Their hospitality truly enhanced our stay. The property was beyond perfect for our group. It effortlessly accommodated all seven of us, providing ample rooms and parking space. Additionally, the location was ideal. We found ourselves conveniently close to city attractions while enjoying the safety and tranquility of the area. Overall, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend The Mbuya Residence to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway. Thank you once again for everything!

A beautiful villa in stunning surroundings. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. They responded to queries straight away & went above and beyond to help us reach restaurants, shops etc. Loved the gardens and swimming pool! Felt like paradise! Thank you

We had a lovely stay in the apartment. The views are amazing and the pool was lovely. Robbie was very helpful, as were the staff in the compound, and the dogs were very friendly. Just a couple of things to note are that access to the property is via a very steep hill, so you need to be fit if you don’t have your own car as most Uber drivers preferred to drop us at the top of the hill and we then walked down to the property, and we would also meet drivers at the top. Also, the veranda was lovely but had a steep drop down to concrete below, so we needed to be vigilant with our child at all times. We had a lovely stay regardless, just important things to be aware of :)

Alvin communicated well from the moment I was considering his apartment until when I left.He got on the phone to give guidance on how to arrive at the apartment when the driver was lost. He put a lot in the apartment and it's exactly as it is and even better (if I can say so). He also ensure that I had everything, even went out to make a last minute purchase to achieve this. He had Dennis (the caretaker) available to support as needed as well and it was easy to gain access to the apartment. I would absolutely stay here whenever I am in town and I would highly recommend.

I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely Airbnb from May 18th to May 31st, 2025, and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable and comforting stays I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the space felt warm, welcoming, and incredibly homey like a place you’ve known forever. The apartment was beautifully maintained and equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing and seamless stay. Derrick and Charlly were absolutely amazing. was kind, responsive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. Hospitality went above and beyond, and it made all the difference. I also want to extend heartfelt thanks to the caretaker, whose quiet presence and diligent care helped keep everything running smoothly. Together, they created a truly welcoming atmosphere. It was a brilliant place to stay. Excellent Wifi, Hot Shower, and lots of TV channels; stuff that isn't easy to get outside of Hotels in Kampala. Martin was always available, regardless of the time or issue. It had all of the amenities that you would need. TV, Microwave etc. The staff were also very helpful. The only issue I had was finding the place, as it is different to the location on AirBnB maps. It shows the place as in Kajjansi, the nearest town, whilst it is actually out into a rural area. But once I had found the place it was a nice and easy walk into Kajjansi, and it was also fairly easy to get transport back there. Overall it was an excellent place to stay, and would definitely recommend it.

Second time I’ve booked this place but turns out the airbnb was already in use by someone else yet it was available on the app. The host suggested another space that isn’t on the app that was very decent and clean but this was after endless phone calls of which it was so hard to get in touch with the host cos they weren’t picking up most of the calls!

Stuart’s place is lovely, well appointed and in a quiet neighborhood. It was suitable for me as I was on a work trip and could get just about anywhere by uber or Faras. It’s very close to shops and restaurants and you can also have food delivered. Stuart is very responsive. I will be back and I highly recommend his house

Overall great stay, would highly recommend anyone visiting Kampala area to stay in this place. In the pictures, there is no dining table so I asked for one. But when I reached the place, I was surprised to find that Geofrey had a table already placed upon my request. Would definitely come back!

It was such a wonderful stay according to feedback from family, the place very spacious in a luxurious style, the location was top notch. The cleanliness was outstanding along with good communication from Jackline. I would recommend anyone to have taste of Jackline’s place because it brings satisfaction and very secure.

Ashley is the host you hardly forget about even after leaving her place -a beautiful human-. She ensured we had a pleasant stay at her place, welcoming us in person, ushering us into the apartment and providing recommendations on activities and restaurants to visit. She was proactive and always available to respond to our queries. The apartment looks same as in the pictures. The kitchen is well equipped and this really helped as we prefer to eat home cooked food. Everything was clean and neat. It will definitely be our choice next time we return to Kampala.

the neighborhood is perfect for a foreigner. the place is calm and well guarded. the 2 hosts are highly responsive and welcoming but also 0% intruisive during my stay. they were actively finding solution to any obstacle a foreign could encounter. I ll 100% be back.

This is my second time staying at Pauline’s and it was excellent as always. The apartment is very comfortable and well-equipped and Pauline is the perfect host, very attentive and responsive to your needs. I gave it a 4 for location because some tourists might find it a bit far from the center but the area has many amenities and Ubers can take one anywhere. Highly recommend!
