With the frozen lake, it's the perfect time to go ice skating, ice fishing, and enjoy over 90 miles of snowmobiling trails around us. During summer, you can paddle on the lake, kayak and jet ski. Had a wonderful time at Michael's lake house property. Beautiful spot just what we needed for a long fall weekend. The property was probably a bit more than the wife and I really needed ( there is enough room for 3 couples with kids!) but, it was nice to have the space. Everything was just as it was pictured and Mike was very helpful and communicative with lots of great recommendations. We actually took the opportunity to drive up Mnt. Washington and spend some time in the parks in the area.

This beautiful cottage is such a great getaway! The grounds and lake are really beautiful. The cottage is so well done with the furnishings, quality and great use of space. Bed, linens and towels are wonderful! Also very clean! The outside kitchen within the screened area is very well appointed and furnished. I really enjoyed sitting in there at night. The cabana is such a fun sitting spot. Having all of this space and freedom to walk around the grounds was wonderful! So peaceful and their gardens are beautiful. I hope to return!!!

Although we only had the pleasure of staying one night, this place was everything we could have asked for. The intricate attention paid to the detail in creating a space that is cozy and a home away from home. This place became a special part of our next chapter and it was everything we hoped it would be. Scott and Kristin exceeded our expectations in providing such a peaceful little getaway. We cannot wait to come back and share more memories. Knowing them on a personal level made us all the more appreciative of the space they have created.

This lake house was absolutely perfect. Well thought out, very organized, kitchen stocked with everything you might need for gourmet cooking (dishes, utensils, chef knives, various coffee pots, high end pans and serving ware etc), multiple options for seating areas, and of course lake stuff! We enjoyed having s’mores over a camp fire, bbq-ing, kayaking, paddle boating, and gaming. We enjoyed restaurants near and far - drove to Kennebunkport one day and Wolfeboro the next. We were comfortable in this spacious home. And the view topped off the experience. Even a rainy day brought inner calm looking out the windows. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful couple of days at this beautiful house on the lake. The lake itself is great, with plenty of opportunities to explore. There were plenty of different kinds of boats available, making it easy to enjoy the lake to the fullest. We also enjoyed hiking around the lake and picking mushrooms. Our only suggestion is to advertise it as a 3+ bedroom, not a 4-bedroom. We would definitely come back, especially in the warmer months.

Shirley's place is incredible! not only is she a fantastic host, friendly and extremely responsive. Her place is gorgeous and exactly as described/pictured. This is our second time booking Shirley's place. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a cozy spot to relax and enjoy the lakes region!!
