If I could give it more stars I would! Amy exudes the aloha spirit and her place is thoughtfully designed. You have everything you need to cook a great meal which is how we like to travel! The space itself is modern, has great airflow with the AC and a cute porch where we spent our mornings- also bed is very comfortable. Amy was so generous and gifted us a delicious sourdough bread she baked along with a homemade pumpkin butter 😋. We will be back!! ❤️

Yes! Yes! Yes! Stay here!!!! Don’t even bother looking anywhere else. There is not enough space in this app to describe how pleasant our stay was. This home has everything we needed and then some! It was a breath of fresh air after staying in a mini-room in Oahu before arriving in Hilo. This was a very quiet, clean home with a large bathroom, large living space with living room and kitchen, and a large bedroom with tons of closet space. We could have easily stayed here a month in comfort. Save yourself some time, stop looking around. Book Tulpe’s place.

Our gracious hosts were super responsive throughout our stay. Before our arrival, they offered to greet us for a personalized check in, but it was not needed as the check in instructions were very easy to follow. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is in the unit. They also had some snorkeling equipment and beach towels for us to use. Do note that the unit is on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator to get to the unit. All of the bedrooms are on the 2nd floor of the unit as well, so keep that in mind if you or your fellow travelers have mobility issues. Great location as it is walkable to all the restaurants and shops on All'i Drive. Would stay here again!

C Kelly us amazing. She was very prompt in her response time. The layout of the condo was great, we ate all breakfasts and most dinners on the balcony, even when it was rainy and a little cloudy. It is looking out on Ali'i drive and a short walk from the Kona Inn restaurant and a great Indian restaurant, Kamala Kitchen. There's also an amazing Thai restaurant, 5 minute walk away, called Krua. Great Prik King, Phad Thai and Chicken and Broccoli with Oyster Sauce. My wife likes NO spices, and I like alot, so we were both satisfied. AND, C Kelly has everything you need to go to the beach and go snorkeling, a pair of fins and masks, beach chairs and an umbrella. The view of the ocean is pretty good, although there was a big Banyan Tree blocking the sunset. It is probably fine in the winter and late fall, early spring. All in all, we loved our stay and were able to what we needed, relax with Mai Tai's on the Lanai, and watch the day go by.

It's the house of my dream. Everything in the house is taken really good care of by Priscilla and Rob, and the house is definitely one of my favorite places in Kona. I really hope that I can come back soon, and I will bring you a small gift from China, Priscilla~~💜

We really enjoyed our stay at Meg's place. The apartment was very clean, with easy street parking, just 15 minute drive to Kona, and under 2 hours to both Volcanos Natl park and Hilo. The views from the balcony were absolutely stunning - we loved watching the sunsets every evening. The apartment is located in a local neighborhood, so you might hear the everyday sounds of island life, including the coqui frogs at night. I’m a light sleeper, but the frog sounds were like a calming sound to sleep to and I slept like a baby. We also loved the decor and the overall vibe of the space - it felt welcoming and thoughtfully put together. This was the perfect home base for exploring the island and catching beautiful sunsets!

Dani's place is so beautiful and peaceful. It's private and quiet, yet within just a few minutes' drive there is access to the beach, restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and cafes. She has very carefully created a sanctuary with attention to detail and all the amenities anyone could need; and she really goes out of her way to make one's stay so comfortable and memorable. What a gift to have been able to stay here!

This Husky Hale was fantastic, I really wish we could do more to repay Robynne and Dave! They went above and beyond with everything! Fantastic hosts, very well behaved dogs, great recommendations, and an amazing spot in Hilo. We will be coming back and recommending this to our families! (This was our honeymoon!) This was so much better than any other place that we have ever stayed before, honestly! Mahalo to Robynne and Dave and I hope you guys are doing well!

Really loved our stay. It was raining pretty heavily but her place was perfect for it. Windows looked out into the forest with beautiful plants and orchids. The rain sounded beautiful rolling off the roof. This made for the most cozy of stays.

Outstanding air bnb. My family and I loved staying here. We slept well in the cozy beds, ate well in the amazing kitchen and lounged beautifully all around. I adored the full size ld and brand new washer and dryer! Absolutely a hidden gem of all gems. Well appointed in every way. And we even fell in love with the sweet neighbor pup who thoughtfully greeted us daily. Kenya has a great property (with a spectacular view) and a kindness that is steeped into her home, her instruction, and her hospitality. Absolutely 10/10. We would return!!! Actually I would stay anywhere else on the big island. Thank you so much, Kenya!

Tony and Larissa were very welcoming. It’s clear they put a lot of care and intent in their Airbnb. This is evident in quality cookware in the kitchen, a beyond comfortable bed, and hand-crafted home improvement projects. We greatly enjoyed our stay!

Melemalie is a great host, she’s so helpful and clear on instructions. The place is really clean and beautiful. Totally recommend it to everyone.

Amazing location and great hosts! Had a great time at Kathy's place - perfect spot to explore the east side of the island. It's close to downtown Hilo, and both Volcano National park and Mauna Kea are a little over 30 minutes away. Would definitely consider again. One word of caution, sensitive sleepers should bring earplugs - the house is in a residential area with plenty of wild chickens. They can get loud in the morning.

Gorgeous property and cute place to stay! This is our second stay at Adam’s place…. Adam is very good with communication and went above and beyond with accommodating was with a special request that was not listed on the accommodations list. We always enjoy our stay at Adam’s place! Definitely our favorite place to stay! Thanks again Adam 🏝️

We very happy with the place! We loved the decor and furniture, the patio area is excellent with amazing views of the surf (enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine in the evening out there!). It is also very conveniently stocked with essentials, which is much appreciated. Easy walk to many, many great restaurants and shops!

While the roosters, frogs, and road noise were louder than expected, the provided ear plugs helped and the stay was comfortable. Kathy gave a nice tour of the property. We made good use of the snorkel gear at Two Step Beach, which is right down the hill and is considered the best snorkeling on the island. Hot tub was great and private. We appreciated the fresh fruit from the property every day. Tina’s bakery stand at the bottom of the driveway was incredible!

We stayed at the Kona Hawaiian resort in 2024 and it was just as nice in 2025! It's a really ideal setup for my husband, daughter, my inlaws and myself with the two bedroom suite. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the pool almost every day. I will likely come back a third time!

Ryan was an excellent host. He is a great communicator and quick to respond to any questions . Everything was exactly as described. Our place was wonderful! We will definitely book with Ryan again

Place itself was nice and comfy. Kitchen well stocked with everything you would need. I was in a downstairs unit and noise travels easily, could hear upstairs neighbors at all hours. Despite the noise, I would stay here again.

Terry is truly an unmatched host. Her apartment was just as beautiful as the photos with comprehensive amenities such as snorkeling gear and tennis rackets. She was incredibly proactive in making sure we were enjoying our stay, provided spot-on recommendations for activity, and even added some lovely personal touches as we celebrated our honeymoon. Incredibly thoughtful host who gave us the trip of a lifetime!

Truly an oasis! Dana and Gregory are wonderful hosts and Rivendell was one of our favorite Air BnB stays. The apartment was spotless and well-stocked, the bed was so comfortable, and the hot tub was very well-maintained and heated quickly. Now for the best part! The landscaped property and waterfall made for peaceful mornings and restful evenings. We wished we were staying longer. Mahalo for the perfect weekend stay! We will be back!
