Holiday rentals with a patio in Waikiki, Honolulu

We just got home from staying here for a week. We came in for a wedding and this place was everything we looked for (and we looked at a lot of places) The description was extremely accurate. We did run out of washcloths a few days in, and even though they normally do not supply housekeeping services, the host ran some over for us! It was extremely appreciated and not at all expected. They were very responsive prior to arrival and while we were there. My entire family rented different units in this building for this trip, and everyone said ours was the best hands down. If I am ever in Hawaii again, I will 100% be staying here again. Oh, and the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever laid in! 10000000 % recommend.

Excellent location. Close to beach , restaurants and everything. Very walkable. The hosts even provide beach umbrellas, chairs and a wagon to haul them. The unit is also nicely managed. Communication is great. Recommended for family vacations!

Absolutely loved our stay location with great description was on point had the greatest view of the Honolulu zoo walking distance from the beach couldn’t have asked for anything better great host very responsive when needed. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to friends and family.

Karen and Jeff’s place was perfect for our stay. Most places around Waikiki are small, but this place had everything we needed as well as a touch of local art on the walls. It was a quick walk to the beach, shopping centers and stores, food trucks, coffee spots, and restaurants. We rented a car for 2 days and Karen and Jeff answered all of our questions about potential free parking (if willing to walk) and they even sent a map with potential areas circled. When you stay in a place like Waikiki, you really only need a cozy place to rest your head, refresh, and plan your day. This place offers all that and more and at an affordable price. It’s central to many things so you can always stop back to change or drop things off from the beach before heading to your next activity!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Charles’s place in Waikiki! The view was truly breathtaking — we found ourselves spending so much time just taking it all in from the spacious lanai. Everything in the unit was spotless and well-maintained, and it was stocked with so many useful and thoughtful items that made our stay incredibly easy and comfortable. The bed was very cozy, and you could tell a lot of care went into making the space feel like a home away from home. Charles’s instructions were clear, precise, and extremely helpful — check-in and everything else went smoothly thanks to his attention to detail. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we’re in Waikiki. Highly recommended!

My wife and I loved the place. It was close to all the places in Waikiki. We did a lot of the local tours via bus and the pick up place were only about 5 minutes which was very convenient. Walking distance to all areas (restaurants, markets and other places) in Waikiki so if you are planning on not renting a car this place is the place to stay. Thank you Sunny.

I would definitely recommend staying at Christian’s place! It’s right in the middle of Waikiki. I was able to walk everywhere. We still rented a car to see the island but if you don’t want to explore there are plenty of activities in walking distance. We parked under the structure and honestly it was the easiest option I wouldn’t waste time looking for a cheaper route. The next best thing if a spot isn’t available in the basement is the zoo , which is still walking distance but the time limit is four hours. I would stay here again in a heart beat it was clean and I wasn’t even able to make breakfast in the morning. Full size fridge with everything you need to cook up a meal.

I had a great stay at this beautiful apartment! The space was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Check-in was super easy with clear instructions provided ahead of time. Charlie was communicative and helpful throughout the stay. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again! Mahalo nui!

Our family of 8 absolutely loved Courtney's rental. I don't think it could have been in a better location. It is with in walking distance of all the lagoons, local shops, golfing and it's a quick drive to grocery stores. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, instructions were clear and the check in/out process was a breeze. Our only cons were there were only 2 beach towels, no spices and the trash under the sink was way too small for the 8 of us. We are seasoned Air bnbers so we did pack a few of things we knew we would need like laundry pods, paper towels and a few smaller items but coming from the East Coast we were only checking 1 bag and didn't bring any spices, beach towels or dish & dishwasher soap. Island Country Market (SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS and get those free items!), Safeway, Target and Walmart are really just a short drive to grab what was needed so it wasn't a big deal but just be prepared to need these items. We absolutely can not wait to go back. Aloha.

Truly a secluded place with little to no neighbors and large enough for my family of Seven. Beautiful lighting especially at night. Hardly no AC needed as quiet as it was, could leave the windows completely open and with a fan. Kitchen needs a little more amenities for a full Airbnb experience, but provided enough to get by. Neighborhood was quiet. I think we made the most ruckus, but truly a nice little home away from home. A little further away than we anticipated from the bigger cities but easily manageable with a rental. Close to Disneys Aulani and 4 seasons!

The location of this place was amazing. As a family we have always stayed further down closer to the zoo but this location really does have it all. The beaches are amazing, everything is still easily within walking distance and the Hilton property really does have it all. The suite we stayed in was clean, great AC and lots of space for a family of 4. The kitchen could use a few more items to cook with. We went over Christmas and tried to eat in a bit more than usual and had to be VERY creative with our cooking because of what the kitchen had to offer. We throughly enjoyed our stay and you know it’s been a great vacation when you’re sad to leave!

We absolutely loved our stay at this house! House is beautiful and well thought out. We especially appreciated all of the details and care that was put into this house. From the little details such as the puzzles (we loved this as a family) to the Bluetooth speakers in the bathrooms to the bigger conveniences/comfort such the split A/C units (hugely appreciated) and the spectacular view from the deck! We’ve spent a lot of time on the deck, shared meals and just hanging out enjoying the view. If this property is ever available for our future trips, we would love to rebook. We had a great stay in Kailua! The house is very comfortable, and it’s only a couple minutes walk to the Kalamas beach access. When not at the beach (with the chairs, towels, boogie boards, and toys provided) or eating Island Snow, the kids loved playing in the yard and the play room, and watching movies in the living room. We ended up staying mostly in Kailua and Lanikai for beaches, shopping, and restaurants, with one morning at the botanical gardens in Kaneohe and one at Haunama Bay, and an afternoon at Bishop Museum after check-out. We’d love to stay here again, in this well-appointed and clean house with hosts who responded to our questions and provided clear guidance on the check-in and check-out process.

Hilton Village is easy. Has everything you could need or want so you don’t spend time driving all over in Honolulu traffic! We wanted to arrive and park it! This place allowed us to do just that!!

We had small kids and a family group staying. It was a great home base, but you do need to drive to see anything so plan on renting a car. This was always our plan so it worked out great! It is very spacious for the maximum number people allowed. Would definitely stay there again, best cost value for size we could find!

We loved staying with David. This was our first time staying in Waikiki area and I would totally recommend staying here. The best part of our stay was for sure being able to watch the fireworks right from our balcony without needing to go downstairs. It fit our small family of 4. We love how easy it was to get around the area with or without the car. The kids love the easy access to the pool to enjoy during the afternoon. Also was very convenient with free parking rather than having to find or pay for parking. David was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely be coming back.

The location was walkable to the beach but also far enough away from the tourism of Waikiki that it was peaceful if you wanted to walk around the area away from downtown. A lot of cute local restaurants and coffee shops near by and off the beaten path. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was how many units there were in the building, which made the elevators difficult to come by/ had long waits. But even with that being said I would definitely stay again just because of the location and price.

The place was great. I especially appreciated the beach chair, umbrella, yoga mat, roller, high powered blender and sharp knives. It was close to the beach and easy to jump in the car and get out of town. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo by the Ala Wai Canal! The location is perfect—just a short walk to Waikiki Beach and all the great local shops and restaurants. The condo is clean and comfortable, with modern kitchen appliances and cozy beds. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like the portable beach chairs and umbrella—they came in so handy. The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning, with a clear view of both the canal and Waikiki Beach. One morning, we even saw a double rainbow from the balcony looking out toward the beach—it was magical! The host was incredibly responsive, and their team always replied within a minute, making everything smooth and stress-free. I’d definitely love to come back!

Toni’s place was exactly as pictured—clean, stylish, and very comfortable. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed, and communication with Toni was excellent throughout. Would definitely stay here again!

Annie’s place was great! It was cozy and close to everything in Waikīkī. We really appreciated the small touches like having a balcony to enjoy our meals on, the small kitchen, and beach supplies. Communication and check in were seamless. Would definitely stay again in the future!

I was on vacation to Oahu with my family and I definitely enjoyed my 1-week stay at Jerry's place. Jerry is a great host and is very easy to communicate with. He is also very welcoming and responsive, helping us checked in and out very smoothly. The apartment description and pictures are accurate and it's very clean. The apartment is also well equipped and the bed is super comfy. The great ocean view and many beach gears provided is definitely another plus. I will come back during my next trip to Hawaii, and I do recommend this place for short or long stays.

Host is friendly, responsive, and professional. We loved the ocean view. The apartment itself is small at only around 530 Square feet (based on Zillow records), although tastefully renovated. Central to everything anyone would need and want in and around Waikiki. The building itself though is run down and low-quality, looks poor/cheap. Overall wonderful stay. Thank you Mandy!
