Historic bungalow near the great Pere Marquette Park on Lake Michigan and Lake Express High Speed Ferry to Milwaukee WI.
“Rebecca's place was great for our weekend getaway in Muskegon. If you are a fellow traveler who prefers to cook while away, this place is perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans! The home is in a quiet neighborhood and isn't too far from Muskegon State Park and Hoffmaster State Park. We endured a beautiful snow storm during our stay and were pleased to wake up to shoveled sidewalks each morning. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you!”
Enjoy our country chic home! We live minutes away from Lake Michigan and downtown Muskegon where there are shops and bars! We are located in a quiet neighborhood about 3 miles from multiple public beaches and 3.5 miles from downtown Muskegon. We have a private bedroom for you, and a shared bathroom. We do have a dog who is very friendly and can keep to herself.
“The house is clean and attractively decorated. For a place to sleep you really can’t beat this! Mariah is very responsive and friendly. We felt very welcome to make ourselves at home in our room. We didn’t get to meet Josh. We should warn that if you like dogs, Bristol will steal your heart! We highly recommend this as an option for anyone who just needs a place to spend the night and wants to save money on accommodations. We’d far rather stay here than at a motel at twice the price. Nice neighborhood, close to many amenities!”
My house, built at the end of the 19th Century, could be best described architecturally as an Italianette, with stained glass and etched glass windows! Your private room is 5 minutes from downtown Muskegon, 20 minutes from Grand Haven, and 10 minutes from Lake Michigan!
“Although this home is generational, it has nostalgia that is reminiscent of my great grandmother’s home. If you love an old home like I do, then the creaking wood floors, crown molding, 1950’s kitchen pulls and stained and etch glass windows will delight you as it did me. My daughter and I were welcomed by Matt and he made himself available to help us with anything we needed. When a need did arise, he was super quick to respond. My daughter and I felt safe and enjoyed the little time we were there. I would recommend Matt and his home as a delightful place to stay. It is not the Ritz, but if staying at grandma’s house makes you feel happy too, pick Matt’s.”
