We had a wonderful stay at the Schakel villa. It had everything we needed and although we were unfortunately pretty cold most of the time, it just felt good to be in this wonderful vacation home and to be able to look directly at the water from the living room. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped and small beach walks made the stay perfect. We would have liked to try the sauna and the boats, but unfortunately we were too sick for that. Everything was in top condition and very well described. The communication went smoothly and the house is very lovingly decorated. Thanks so much!

We felt very comfortable from the first moment. You can tell that Isabel has put a lot of love into the house and it really is a "home." Check-in was straightforward, communication friendly and in the house more than everything necessary to find and allowed to use - which makes the stay even more relaxing. The welcome greeting - basket of goodies - was really delightful. Especially with children, the child-friendly, clean and cozy house in this quiet neighborhood is perfect. Very pleasant house to stay in! Everything is available, including everything for children such as crockery, beds, chairs, etc.

Nice cottage in a pleasant quiet place and well located to visit the whole island. And very nice that our dog was welcome.

enjoy one of the most beautiful places you can imagine. Location is close to west and you'll walk right into the woods. Very spacious plot and beautiful farmhouse. It is indeed all a bit low but with a little attention it will be fine. Glad the owners want to share this beautiful place with others

We've spent two days at Isa's house and it's been great; a haven of tranquility, with views of the countryside and sheep but every time well communicated by car and bike to go to the best places on the island. Close to De Burg, De Hoorn, Ecomare and dune nature reserve. The house is spotless, with everything you need to feel at home :-)

We were allowed to stay in Lida's house over the Easter weekend. On Thursday, we would be warmly welcomed by her husband and were explained everything important. The accommodation has everything important and is very lovingly and charmingly furnished. We felt very comfortable. Thanks again to Lida and Cor, it was a pleasure!

It was a very nice stay. The townhouse is very nicely decorated and everything is well maintained and clean. Harlingen is a very nice town with many restaurants, bars and nice little shops that invite you to stroll. The harbor is very nice too.

We stayed here for 3 nights and found the cottage the perfect base to explore Texel. The cottage has all the comforts and has a cozy sitting area, and well-equipped kitchen. The park is wonderfully quiet (already in this time of year) and the location of this specific cottage is beautiful. Thanks, we had a great weekend!

Everything is great! Cozy cottage in beautiful Hindeloopen! We felt very comfortable!

Clean, cozy place perfect for a family of 4. Friendly and very helpful host. The included e-bikes are fast and make touring the island by bike easy! Insect screens on every window were very welcome. Kitchen with 3 different coffee makers, toaster, many other appliances we didn’t need.

All as advertised , great hosts we will use again when in the area . Would recommend for buisiness or Leisure.

Lovely house , beautiful location

Beautiful house in a very beautiful garden. Five minutes from the beach by car, also easy to cycle. He is almost directly in the Dunes. Some mattresses have plastic, which makes it very warm and less comfi. There are quite a few corners in the house with a lot of dust. The kitchen is excellently furnished to cook extensively, there were missing good frying pans but they were brought directly. Very clearly recommended.

Very clean and well decorated house, placed in a beautiful corner of the island. It has a full working kitchen, a great garden with a great view, and nice relaxing living room space. Would recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable getaway.

It was a very nice stay - peace and relaxation is on Texel program! The place was very clean, modernly equipped and just like in the pictures! Giant meadow and piece of forest opposite the terrace - even if the holiday parks on the island certainly offer more - we just enjoyed the peace and the extensive property, as well as the "solitude" very much. ❤️ Thanks also to the uncomplicated assistance - we were able to check in later than planned due to various circumstances - this was very hospitable and uncomplicated! I'm sure we'll be back!

All in all great place to stay! However, a few things were missing: - shower gel and shampoo - Dish soap - Coffee filter - Salt/pepper or an oil And in the end you had to strip the beds and bring everything with towels into the hallway. For the price, I would think this is included in the cleaning fee. At least I don't know this from other apartments. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay 😊

Small "house" nicer in real life than in photos. We were pleasantly surprised. Nothing to say about the accommodation. Everything is new.
