The cottage was clean and smelled wonderfully fresh upon entering. Ample inventory. Good beds and pillows. Fine and smooth communication with a friendly host. This is one of the most beautifully decorated homes I have ever had the pleasure of renting. Thoughtful understated elegance would be the theme for this exceptional canal house perfectly located in the quaint city of Harlingen. It is truly a sumptuous environment. There is a fine wool plaid blanket in the Blue grand room that promises instant napping. We spent over a month this Spring and my favorite pastime was reading a book under the beautiful old Gingko tree in the private garden listening to church bells and barges. The air is so clean and fresh too! Further, the Host is kind and generous. Please take care of this amazing listing because I want everything to be as it was when I come back again. Thank you for making my family feel so welcome.

Had a wonderful stay in a peaceful setting. Lovely enclosed garden which makes it easy to sit quietly while your children run around the house. Good walking from the house and on the beach within 20 minutes.

We loved the accommodation and we didn't miss anything. Everything was as described and very clean. We felt very comfortable and recommend the apartment with a clear conscience!

I have been to the house several times. It's worth every new visit. I particularly appreciate the huge private lawn and the quiet location, from which Watt and dike, forest, dunes and beach are within walking distance.

We had a wonderful getaway. The cottage is on the property of the friendly Lida and has its own small terrace. In the house you can find everything you need. Behind the house you can park superbly (it is possible to get a parking card online for the whole week so you can park all over the island, thank you Lida :) and walk with the dog in the fields from there. The small place is beautiful (everyone is very friendly), the island can be perfectly visited from here. (About 8 min by car to the beach.) We will be happy to come back!

It was a very nice stay. The townhouse is very nicely decorated and everything is well maintained and clean. Harlingen is a very nice town with many restaurants, bars and nice little shops that invite you to stroll. The harbor is very nice too.

We had a wonderful stay at this chalet! The place is even more cozy and charming than the photos show — beautifully located and very peaceful. It was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Birgit was an incredibly supportive and responsive host. Communication was smooth and friendly from start to finish, and she made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. We are already thinking about coming back in the future. WE WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Beautiful cottage with everything you need. The kitchen was partly new and very extensive. We especially loved the hammock and the beautiful garden. The path to the beach is 10 min by bike. Good shopping on site. The holiday park also has a great swimming pool, which is included, as well as restaurants and leisure opportunities.

The location and the house certainly contributed to the beautiful memories we made during our annual getaway with sisters, mother, brother and aunt!,

Quiet and charming place to stay on Texel!

Very comfortable and practical accommodation. Comfortable electric bikes are available to fully enjoy the fantastic nature of the island of Texel. Really great stay.

Beautiful spacious space, public transport in front of the door, nice outdoor area and swimming pool. Too bad there was no BBQ and also no basic products such as hand soap and cooking oil. Also a pity that the key had to be picked up in Callantsoog, although the owner was present at the property upon arrival. Friendly owner and good communication

We had a nice time at the accommodation on Texel and would come back anytime. The inventory is well maintained and there is even a small playground (slide and swing) for the little guests. The area is quiet and you can quickly reach the beach or supermarkets by bike or car.

Super equipped kitchen, very practical and modern furnished apartment for families. Landlord very helpful and fast. Large laundry area with two dryers and two washing machines in a separate room. Always happy to come back, this place can be recommended.

We had a wonderful week at this villa. We were a group of 8 people (4 adults and 4 children). The villa has all the comforts and the location is fantastic. Landal's playground is within walking distance. The beach (pole 28) is a 5-minute drive away and there are beautiful hiking (running) routes nearby. The other villa (the Bosuil) is on the same property, but you won't know. We will definitely come back!

Very clean and well decorated house, placed in a beautiful corner of the island. It has a full working kitchen, a great garden with a great view, and nice relaxing living room space. Would recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable getaway.

It was a very nice stay - peace and relaxation is on Texel program! The place was very clean, modernly equipped and just like in the pictures! Giant meadow and piece of forest opposite the terrace - even if the holiday parks on the island certainly offer more - we just enjoyed the peace and the extensive property, as well as the "solitude" very much. ❤️ Thanks also to the uncomplicated assistance - we were able to check in later than planned due to various circumstances - this was very hospitable and uncomplicated! I'm sure we'll be back!

Small "house" nicer in real life than in photos. We were pleasantly surprised. Nothing to say about the accommodation. Everything is new.

We had a wonderful stay in the Airbnb. We liked that the house was in the middle of nature but still close enough to the next beach and town to go places by bike. The common room with the table tennis was definitely also amazing and something nice to do on rainy days.
