I highly recommend this beautiful stay with the most amazing view of the alps right from the living room! Rebecca is a wonderful host, who is extremely responsive and friendly. She offered us a late checkout and was very flexible. The apartment is well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including the essentials for basic meals. Besides the beautiful view, the location is nice as well. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the village (up the mountain, so be ready for some excessive!), which also had wonderful views and great restaurants. We came in the off season so a lot was closed, but it’s easy to imagine a bustling atmosphere during the winter. All in all, great stay!

We enjoyed a gorgeous week in June at Benita & Mike’s beautiful home. The house has everything we needed and we loved the floor to ceiling windows which allowed maximum appreciation of the stunning mountain scenery around us, the photos really don’t do it justice. The location is peaceful and tranquil (just what we wanted) but also a short distance from the quaint and charming Grachen which is walkable in 35 mins. The kitchen is well equipped which was a bonus as we enjoyed cooking every night. We also enjoyed sitting outside on both the balcony which gets the morning sun and the back terrace which gets the evening sun, perfect! The llamas in the field opposite were very friending and entertaining. The highlights during our stay were hiking up the nearby mountain Wannihorn from Grachen, visiting the suspension bridge in Randa and taking the car train to Kandersteg to walk the alpine trail around the unbelievably stunning Lake Oeschinen. We would highly recommend 😀

Was such an amazing stay. Everything was good and the hosts were very responsive and accommodated all our requests. The location is perfect and you can really do a lot of things around or just be in peace in the quite surroundings

The chalet is very nice and as in the photos. Everything is available to spend a relaxing time and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

We are very grateful that we were able to spend such a beautiful week in this special place. We can absolutely confirm the many positive reviews. The apartment is furnished with a lot of love, everything you need is there. You can immediately tell that someone has really thought about it. The view from the kitchen of the Weisshorn and Matterhorn is impressive, and looking out from the balcony over the Rhônetal, Brig and the Simplon was inspiring. The hikes along the Suonen through meadows blooming in all colours were unforgettable, a nature and a tranquillity that touches you. What has also remained with us is the cordiality of the hosts: you feel personally welcome. The neighbours on the farms in the area are also friendly and open, you are happy to talk and simply feel comfortable. Not to forget, the animals... The black and white goats and the unique, famous Valais Blacknose sheep!!

Reto is super friendly and apparently speaks many languages perfectly! The kitchen is not only very pretty, combining antique and charming furniture with recent appliances of very good quality (induction stove, vacuum hood of the future, all the necessary utensils available, beautiful fridge... all impeccably clean). Difficult then to return to our modest urban apartment 😅 We didn't miss anything, it's also possible to eat outside. Garbage containers are very close, no problem without a car. Same for the bathroom, comfortable and generously provided with towels of different sizes and much appreciated basics. The whole place is extremely cozy and comfortable, very welcoming and warm. We hope to return soon! And the area is absolutely fantastic, we had the chance to do magical hikes and hopefully we can come back to Reto in the winter!

The views from the apartment were out-of-this-world beautiful. We loved sleeping with the windows open, because hearing the flowing river was very peaceful to our souls. The Coop, below, was an added bonus, because it’s so close and convenient! The apartment was very clean, and we enjoyed the spacious layout. Thank you for providing us with a great place to stay in Kandersteg.

very comfortable and cozy Swiss cabin, the decor is well-thought-out and quite new. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, and the host is very considerate. The only downside is that it’s a bit far from the main attractions, but if you’re driving, it’s not a big issue.
