Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Viseu District

Lisbon was nice, but our vacation started here. Having this beautiful home and a car, we explored the region and had a great time. Owners recommendations led to our favorites experiences on the trip. Can't recommend enough. The pics don't do it justice either, and the pics are amazing.

This is a very special place with beauty everywhere you look including the architecture of the house utilising the natural materials of the region to blend into the landscape. Francisca cooked us a delicious three course meal including wine, delivered on a tray on our first night what a treat ! On Francisca’s recommendation we had a very authentic wine and food tour with Bambuti Tours we were overwhelmed with Portugal hospitality for the day and Viewed some amazing scenery, a great way to explore the valley. Casa Do Largo is situated in some of the most beautiful scenery in the valley and we enjoyed a whole day there , with a walk to the beautiful river first then a day enjoying the pool and the most comfortable home. This has been our favourite spot in Portugal and we would highly recommended you book it for at least 3 nights.

Quiet and quiet place. Extremely comfortable, super beautiful and modern house. Paulo is always very communicative and provides tips about the place. There are wonderful museums in the area. I recommend it 100%! Definitely a place to repeat!

This place was amazing, way bigger than it looks in the photos, with everything we needed and incredible views. The host was super helpful and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I get the chance!

We so enjoyed our stay! The house is amazing. Historic and cozy charm with modern amenities. We had so much fun with the soccer field, the pool, the pool table, hammock, and exploring the grounds. We picked lemons off the tree and made lemonade and a lemon dessert! We soo enjoyed meals at the big outdoor tables- wonderful to accommodate our large group of 7. The daily delivery of fresh bread is a treat!! We enjoyed walking into town and visiting the butcher, bakery, fish market and such. It’s a 25-minute walk through lovely hills, though there is not a sidewalk and the traffic was difficult to navigate at times, but we also drove to town. Sitting outside with morning coffee overlooking the valley was one of my favorite parts! My daughter and fiancé stayed in the detached cottage and found it to be so cozy and comfortable. Lastly, Isabel was very accommodating with some last minute changes, which I really appreciated. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Mario and Cila’s home was one of the most beautiful I have stayed out. The house was an old olive oil mill, converted into a modern paradise. They thoughtfully incorporated the property’s history into the renovation. The home is beautiful but the grounds are next level! There is a running stream running along side and under the house with lush grounds and a wonderful pool. There is also a walking path to a little park with a waterfall! Super peaceful property. If you are looking for a getaway, look no further! Mario and Cila are super kind, gracious hosts! They welcomed us themselves and proactively provided tips and recommendations. Super appreciative of their hospitality.

José's estate is beautiful with stunning views of the hills. The accommodation is very comfortable. And the location is great for exploring the local area. José was always very available. Breakfast is included, hearty, and delicious. I would highly recommend this rental.

Great stay at José's, the apartment is very functional and the view is breathtaking. There is a small outdoor space that allows you to dine outside. The surrounding village is very cute and the location is perfect for discovering the surroundings of the Douro. My advice: use Google Maps for your travels rather than Waze and do not hesitate to question the suggested route to take the main roads rather than the difficult paths to navigate. Enjoy your stay!

The photos don't do justice to the beauty and area of the house! Very nice space, with several leisure areas, interior patios, tastefully decorated! The area where the pool is located (500 meters from the accommodation, in a very nice park) is huge, with trampolines, swings, hammocks and dining tables. Juncais' location is perfect for trips to other locations in the Serra. We loved it!

If you want quiet cute old village stay. We stayed for a month and enjoyed watching the river and the start of the changing of the leaves. The house is ready to move in how ever long you want to stay with everything needed. The host is very nice.I would come back

Lovely place with a lot of space on the outside terrace , which also has a great view of the mountains .

Beautiful and cozy mto accommodation, could have more towels for when one was wet to use another.

We really enjoyed meeting Manuel for our arrival at the accommodation. Their advice for visits was excellent. The apartment was impeccable, we will come back without hesitation because everything was perfect!

Great space, nice, we were during the blackout that struck Portugal and Spain and we were super quiet and safe. The hostess super worried and super attentive all the time. we feel more than at home. the place is beautiful and with easy access to all the areas of the star saw and around it. the scenery is amazing and the wonderful place. for sure we will return. it has a fireplace, air conditioning, heating, a wide and super clean place. Beautifully cared for. Wonderful! No words! There was no way to be better. best stay, we felt all the time safe and at home!

Spectacular setting wish we had more time to enjoy the place. Clean and comfortable. Full kitchen. Needs a car to get to. Looks like the photos. Bring all your own food then you don’t have to leave.

Really great apartment and location. Absolutely beautiful. Quiet and huge garden with a really nice pool. The garden is well maintained and fruit and vegetables are growing. Owners are friendly and really helpful. The apartment and kitchen are well equipped and really clean. Would definitely recommend this place and would return.

Natália's space completely matches the photos. It was ideal for a few days of rest. The surrounding space is totally private, with a swimming pool, jacuzzi and barbecue available in a beautiful garden with an oriental touch. The house is very well designed for people with mobility difficulties. Well decorated and with everything you need to spend a few days. I will definitely come back and totally recommend it! As if that wasn't enough, this house also has a view of the sunset. Communication was easy, both were super friendly. Perfect!

We are very happy with the accommodation! From the warm welcome to the attention to detail, everything contributed to a comfortable and peaceful stay. The property is beautiful — spacious, well-equipped with everything you need, and in a very convenient location near supermarkets and restaurants. The view from the property is stunning. The host was very friendly, gave great local recommendations, and was available for any questions. The town itself is lovely, charming, and close to hiking trails.

Absolutely loved this place and can’t wait to go back!!! Adrianne was great dropping by each morning to have a little tidy in the kitchen and make breakfast. The view of the Douro valley from poolside and the rooms was incredible. Can’t say enough good things about our stay!

Extremely calm site, with total privacy and all the comfort necessary for a quiet and relaxing weekend. The house is equipped with all the amenities and the terrace, with jacuzzi at the ideal temperature, provides a breathtaking view. The owner was always very accessible and attentive, giving helpful suggestions on places to visit and where to eat nearby. Access is easy and there is a supermarket nearby that offers home delivery service, which has made the stay even more practical and comfortable. An experience we recommend!
