House holiday rentals in Vila Verde

The location is very close to Braga, Gerês, several river beaches but at the same time it is in the midst of nature. Private Pool which was for us the strongest point. Mosquitoes are the weakest spot there are huge. But with proper care gives. We found it better than it looked in the photographs.

We spent a week at Gonçalo's house. It was very peaceful and private. A small grocery store just a 1 minute walk. Portugal is our home now so we heard a few dogs barking and church bells fairly close but that is a part of living here so we embrassed it. Unfortunately, the weather didn't co-operate and it was too cool to use the pool except for two days but pool was clean and nice. The house is fully equiped for staying there. I would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed this villa, its wide open spaces, swimming pool and beautiful well-maintained garden. The on-site caretakers have always listened to us to facilitate our stay.

Really amazing and modern cottage , with beautiful and lovely views.. House is very large and spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. I enjoyed every moment especially the jacuzzi, hot-tub and outdoor sitting area with the views. Location is peaceful and private but its very close to best attractions such as national parks, Braga and Porto. Host Carla is wonderful, very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had an amazing stay, the house is spacious, very well equipped and exactly as described. The three bedrooms are comfortable, and the outdoor area with the pool is overlooking the saw was perfect for relaxing. The garage with snooker was a fantastic extra for us to have fun at night. The house was spotless, and the host was extremely attentive and helpful. I highly recommend to those looking for a comfortable and pleasant space.

This is a great place for anyone that wants to get outside of the city, my daughter and I had a lot of fun exploring the area.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! Alex and her family were so sweet, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and always answering our questions promptly and kindly. Their farm is beautiful and peaceful and their dog was a welcome addition to the fun 🥰❤️

What a wonderful place to stay. We spent a week relaxing and enjoying the wonderful surroundings. Also a super base for visiting the local national park for hiking.

A great place to relax in a quiet and calm environment. The host responds quickly and everything was clean. The covered space jacuzzi is a highlight. Although we do not use the fireplace was to realize that it is connected to the 2 floors of the house.

We had such a wonderful time staying in this home! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome that immediately made us feel at home. The space itself was beautifully decorated with a clean, minimalist aesthetic—everything was brand new and spotless, which I really appreciated. Throughout our stay, we received so many compliments from friends and family about how stunning and inviting the home was. The only minor downside was the lack of air conditioning during the warmer parts of the day—it did get a bit uncomfortable at times. We ended up opening the doors to cool down, which unfortunately let in a few flies. Overall, though, it was a fantastic stay and we’d happily come back!

Where else can you stay above an actual river, where you can just step out and put in a kayak whenever you want? This unusual home, built over a centuries-old mill for monks, has tons of space and quirky touches and is the perfect place to relax and unwind in the countryside. The incessant sound of rushing water is a tranquil backdrop to this alluring getaway. The hosts were amazingly accommodating. She bought us a coffee maker we wanted and even mailed us some stuff we left at her place. And the house has everything you need for a very comfortable stay.
