Cottage at Sao Verissimo

This small Cottage sits in an enclosed garden and is located in the 16 acre, walled estate of Quinta de Sao Verissimo. Once you enter through the gate of the estate you leave the outside world behind and enter a timeless garden of ponds and lakes and century old trees. This Cottage has an unusual layout, the rooms are in a row connected by an external patio and a veranda. The old kitchen has been converted into a small living room with an open log fire. The old bread oven has been retained as a feature. A small kitchen area contains a sink unit, 4 burner cooker, refrigerator and a dining area. There is a washing machine in an outbuilding. The door leads out onto patio area suitable for dining outside whilst using the portable barbecue. From the terrace, a veranda leads to the bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and a walk-in clothes storage area. A door leads off to the bathroom which also has an external door to the veranda. The second bedroom has twin beds and has access to the same bathroom via the veranda. A cot and high chair are available, if required.
