Holiday rentals with lake access in Vila Real District

I loved the space. Super quiet, with a boat on the lake right next to the house that my kids loved. Mr Francisco and his wife, Mrs Helena, are very friendly, they make us feel very comfortable, we feel like family. The wine from the farm is wonderful. Take advantage of the stay to try it and stock up at home 😉 It was only 3 days, but wonderful. Congratulations on the super neat space and thank you for the genuine friendliness.

We loved sitting out on the veranda, listening to the birdsong and watching the boats sail by. The home is in a lovely location, completely surrounded by grapes (and the odd orange and lemon tree) on all sides.

The village in which the house is located is very cute, and quiet, there was only one other couple of residents there. The porch of the house has a spectacular view, we woke up with the birds and looked at the river, on the last day there were 3 cruises but are very quiet, it is possible to walk around safely. It is a place to rest, there are 2 nearby restaurants, however, one is closed at this time of the year. The nearest town is 20 minutes by car, is pleasant and you can find markets, restaurants, pharmacy and bakeries. We love the stay, a lot of peace. Thank you.

La Quinta is located in a beautiful quiet environment. It has air conditioning and a very nice terrace for breakfast. It's the perfect place to rest, hike in the natural park or take a trip to the Douro Valley about 40 minutes away by car. Ana is very available and has good tips for finding activities in the surroundings.

We were 3 people for 3 weeks in Clara's vacation home. We felt very comfortable from the start. The house is very large and superbly furnished. It is very clean and well-maintained. You have everything you need and great Wi-Fi. Clara was super friendly and available at all times. The house is highly recommended. Peace by the water (at the end of the world) The accommodation was only found after a telephone inquiry, although there are only a few buildings in the village. This is VERY secluded, if you want to stay longer, you should shop well. There were only two cafes and one (closed) restaurant there. The nearest shop is about a 1/2 hour drive away. However, it would also be possible to arrive by train. However, it is fantastically beautiful, right on the river, and the traffic of ships, trains and cars can almost be counted. I particularly liked the surroundings with the many flowers, the access to the water and the many seating and lounging options outdoors, both in the shade and in the sun. If you want to take a boat trip, you don't have to leave, the host also does such. You can also rent boats from him, and he gave us tips for fishing. The accommodation is worth its price, is well equipped and there is also parking in the shade. Thank you all

Quite a hike up the hill if you don’t have a car, just bear that in mind. Also if you’re going into town to eat, the same applies. However the upside of course is that the views are outstanding. Quiet and tranquil, we were extremely happy with our stay. Great hiking on the doorstep, lots of wine tasting if that’s your thing. One very nice touch was the traditional custard tarts and lovely bread/rolls left outside our door each morning by our host. Very nice touch indeed

Andre's place is in a great location in the Douro Valley. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

A real favorite! The location is ideal, in the heart of the Douro Valley, close to several vineyards and only 15 minutes from Pinhão. The accommodation offers a breathtaking view, both from the inside and the outside — perfect for relaxing. Everything was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. I recommend it without hesitating!

The space was exactly as described in the photos! Mr. Antonio is always helpful and very welcoming! We will certainly be back!

I super recommend Maria's Room, and Maria really knows how to treat guests, she made me feel very comfortable, always very attentive, she guided me in everything, as much as to places I needed to go and wonderful points in the city as a restaurant, points to take the best photo, curiosities of the region and its surroundings, and not to mention the person who may have a heart that does not fit on my chest, I just have to thank God for having directed me up here in her Hosting... and thank you very much 🫂 Maria "Gina", it was a pleasure to stay in your hosting ... the world would be much better if there were more Marias around the same way... thank you very much and success for your family, and my congratulations...

We loved our stay in Pedro's place. Highly recommended. The accommodation was lovely and just worked perfectly for us. Pedro and his family made us very welcome and were extremely helpful with nothing being to much trouble. Our favourite thing about the accommodation was the large balcony with stunning views over the Douro valley, which were fantastic and we spent many a hour just sitting soaking up the view with a glass of wine and cheese it was impossible to get enough of this impressive view. The swimming pool and games room with a range of traditional games and a barbecue was well used by us, just magic We had a fantastic stay. Enjoy.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage located in the countryside in a relaxing place! José and Aurora were very attentive: tips, fruit and apple juice from the farm, thank you! Supermarket 5 minutes away, rivers for swimming a few minutes away, Amarante and Guimarães 45 minutes away, Porto 1h15.

Filipa's converted mill is a wonderful place, hidden between the hills. Our kids enjoyed playing in the river and observing the wildlife around it. There are some great restaurants nearby and good hiking opportunities in the nearby national park. Filipa was very helpful and provided lots of recommendations for the surroundings.

An excellent space for a good holiday. I loved everything and everything is close to this location. The stay was impeccable and everything has a description of the photos, I felt at home, I would come back without thinking.

Paulo really has a very cozy stay with great views and a prime location. Our stay was very good, it is a perfect house to spend a few relaxing days between friends and family with very good access to an area that is really worth visiting.

I would use the word "Exceptionnel" for this stay. The chalet was almost new, everything was well done, functional, well equipped and decorated with a lot of taste. As the place is a bit remote, the environment is also very calm and relaxing. Would return any time.
