Waterfront holiday rentals in Vila do Bispo

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Le logement correspond en tout point à l'annonce. Il est spacieux, bien équipé. Il est très bien placé, à proximité d'une plage. Le parking privé est un atout dans cette zone touristique. Le seul petit bémol c'est que la zone est très venteuse (en cette fin août). Nous recommandons Paula et son logement 😁

We enjoyed the location and the view. If you love cats this is the place to be as well, as there are many, free roaming, friendly felines. We enjoyed being in a small town but easily could travel to the other towns by car. Also there were many restaurant choices. Be advised it is bare bones as far as supplies, no tissues, paper towels etc. and limited number of towels were provided.

Having stayed locally many times we were thrilled to be based in the midst of it all in Salema. Emma’s place is fabulous. Huge balcony looking out over rooftops and the sea. We were so happy with the view and to hear the waves. Very peaceful. We will be returning to this apartment, we can’t imagine finding somewhere as good at such a reasonable price. Thank you Emma! Tolle Wohnung in super Lage (Supermarkt ums Eck, 15 Minuten zu Fuß zum Meer) mit toller Ausstattung. Der Pool ist groß und es waren immer Liegen frei. In Summe ist die Wohnung sehr zu empfehlen.

Foi um prazer ter ficado no apartamento da Tércia e do marido Jorge. Sempre muito simpáticos e prestáveis. O apartamento foi a escolha ideal para a nossa estadia no Burgau. Super central, está a uma curta distância da praia e do centro da Vila do Burgau. Ficamos muito confortáveis e com todos os equipamentos necessários. Nota-se que os proprietários têm tido um cuidado em ir sempre renovando e melhorando o apartamento. O ar condicionado foi fantástico para o tempo que passamos no apartamento. Uma casa típica da famosa "Santorini Portuguesa"

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit Meerblick. Die Kommunikation mit Jean-Louis war sehr angenehm und er hat uns hilfreiche Tipps rund um Sagres gegeben. Es war rundum perfekt! Wir kommen bei Gelegenheit gerne wieder. :)

We stayed here on our honeymoon and it was perfect! Super comfortable, lots of space to relax, well decorated and had everything we needed. The hot tub was not hot when we arrived and took longer to heat up than expected, do put the heat right up and allow a good few hours before you want to use it. But absolutely heavenly to have it, used it every day! Burgau is a beautiful town, we came in April and it was the perfect level of lively but not crowded. Recommend the coast path for gorgeous walks from the apartment, and also Love Burgau restaurant for vegan (and non vegan!) pizza. The host was super responsive and very friendly.

Un calme, la sensation d’être seuls au monde. Une maison très accueillante, propre, rangée. Un accueil chaleureux et bienveillant. Une terrasse avec une vue magnifique et magique ! Une pépite !

Wir haben 2 wunderbare Wochen im sehr gemütlichen und top ausgerüsteten Haus von Nan und Sue verbracht. Wir lieben es zu kochen und die Küche war mit allem ausgerüstet was wir brauchten. Inklusive Stabmixer! Die Einrichtung ist sehr gemütlich. Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt und kommen sicher wieder. Die Gegend ( Ende Januar) ist sehr ruhig. Das Dorf bietet keinen Laden mehr was aber mit Einkäufen im Nachbardorf kompensiert werden kann.

We had a super stay in Salema. The house was the perfect location. Bathroom new refurbishment great plenty of hot water. Downstairs toilet a bonus. kitchen well equipped. lighting update required downstairs The furnishings in the lounge requires more comfort a new sofa and wall hangings. We shall be back thank you Joaná. It worked so well for the 3 of us. The outside space perfect for meals as we love cooking as vegans. View *****

Loved our stay at Raúl‘s place! Such a beautiful house that felt homey and personal but also spacious and welcoming. Great big living room and kitchen and the terrace and garden was a plus too! Location in Vila do bispo was also perfect ! Would come again and recommend warmly :)

Die Unterkunft ist einfach unbeschreiblich! Wir hätten es nicht besser haben können. Anna hat die Unterkunft so liebevoll, minimalistisch und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Ein Traum! Wir haben uns als vierköpfige Familie mehr als wohl gefühlt und die 10 Tage sehr genossen. Alles war super sauber, die Waschmaschine sehr hilfreich und alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Die Terrasse war unser Highlight mit dem großen Esstisch und der Außendusche. Wir wurden mit frischen Blumen und einem Wein willkommen geheißen. Der Ort hätte von der Lage nicht perfekter sein können, in kürze ist alles zu erreichen und die Traumstrände liegen direkt vor der Tür. Annas Empfehlungen für Strände/ Restaurants etc. waren sehr hilfreich und mehr als super! Alles war sehr ruhig und entspannt, die Parksituation manchmal etwas herausfordernd aufgrund der Straße, aber mit etwas Übung gut machbar. Eine ganz große Empfehlung für Annas liebevoll eingerichtete Airbnb! Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen.

Die Unterkunft ist einfach und praktisch. Herausragend ist die Terrasse und der Blick aufs Meer, morgens, mittags, abends und nachts, einfach wunderschön. Der Strand ist fussläufig in 10 Minuten zu erreichen, sofern man halbwegs gut zu Fuss ist (kleine Kinder und ältere Menschen eher nicht, da es doch steil runter geht). Die Zufahrt ist 2km etwas holprig, mit einem normalen Auto aber gut möglich von einem Sportwagen wäre abzuraten. Zwei Restaurants fussläufig (Zavial und Ingrina, 30 bzw. 40 Min), jede Menge Restaurants per Auto <15 Min erreichbar.

An amazing location and beautiful home with lots of extra amenities. It’s about a 16 minute walk to the busy parts of Lagos (which isn’t much walking at all in Portugal), and the apartment itself is absolutely stunning. Veronica was wonderful to communicate with, giving recommendations and responding quickly to any questions we had. The pool was an awesome bonus too! I truly felt the culture of Lagos in this neighbourhood and I have zero complaints!

We weren’t disappointed when we walked through the door, stunning! The views of the river and marina are next to none, loved watching the little egret, storks, grey heron and even a blue heron! Miguel and Liv were attentive, making sure we had settled. The marina is full of fish and so clean. Very easy walking distance to fab restaurants and old town. We will definitely return. :)

Bruno’s place was exactly what was advertised. 10 minute walk to one of the best beaches in Europe and 10 minutes to city center. Perfect for my family and our short trip to Lagos. Bruno communicated daily and gave some tips about what to do in Lagos. Overall a great stay and would book again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kasia's place. Kasia was extremely helpful with providing us with invaluable information regarding things to do and places to go whilst in Lagos. We would definitely stay there again.

Delighted: location & pool and view from the balcony (very private). Bolt from train / town €3-5. Apartment is basic, outdoor furniture looks new. Marcos & Elaine take pride & care of the apartment . Elaine baked Pastel de Nata, truly the best I’ve had to date in Portugal. The only frustration, advertising a coffee maker, and not say it requires “special sized coffee pods” or where to get them. I specifically asked at check in about the pods, Marcos agreed they were there, neither one of us looked in the box. An hour later, noticed only a few pods & I messaged Marco showing him a photo & he said that was all they provide for the Welcome Gift, no advice of “how or where” to get more pods. This is very disappointing, advertisement with photo of a proper coffee maker for the duration of paid stay yet guest can’t use the coffee maker the entire stay. Also saying that there is “Instant” coffee provided is not acceptable. Restaurant downstairs has real coffee, felt like being at a hotel.

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Beaucoup de bons restaurants à proximité et des plages à distance de marche très raisonnable avec des enfants de 6 et 8 ans. Le logement est très spacieux, et la vue sur la ville et la mer est superbe. Nous recommandons ce logement.

Rosa’s place was great and exactly as described. Very short distance to beach and town (~15 min). She had recommendations which we appreciated. Check-in was easy. The place was as described and Rosa was super communicative. We encountered some issues after checkin and Rosa handled them immediately, which was so appreciated!! The place was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for an amazing stay, Rosa!
