Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Vik

We had a lovely stay. Home was impeccable and clean, beautiful location with amazing views. House has everything one needs and the fireplace was really nice on rainy days. Would definitely recommend and come back again! Our host was absolutely lovely and kind.

We were able to explore the area for a week from this house. The house is in a nice place with a fantastic view. The house is very spacious and contains everything you need for a good stay. For a par night, this house is definitely recommended. For a longer period you are qat insulated. The main road ends in Gresvik, and it's at least 30 Minutes drive to the nearest next village.

It was one of the most memorable stays we have had. It is in such a beautiful and magical location. The house is lovely and clean. The host is very responsive. We can’t wait to return. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Spacious place in a beautiful location. You can catch a glimpse of the fjord, and walk a little further up the road you come across a beautiful waterfall. Kitchen is very well equiped. Bedrooms are mountain cabin style (no bed linen, sheets). Good rental for it's price.

A warm house in a beautiful setting. We felt right at home and the owner was very friendly, we even got fresh strawberries and raspberries. The bathroom with a hot tub is both nice for yourself and for the children and the sauna was also nice. In short, we had a pleasant stay and were able to see a lot of the area. Cherry on the cake is the bbq grill with canopy.

Absolutely fantastic view and a lovely host. There is a really well equipped kitchen and the living room is super cosy. We went hiking in the rain and it was so nice to come home and light the fire. Eivind was so kind to lend us some rain clothes and also offered to light a fire for us coming home. Everything was honestly wonderful and I can't recommend the place enough.

There were six of us and the place was as perfect. Close enough to town to run to the store or grab lunch or dinner but far enough to be quiet and peaceful. Great sun on the decks.

A beautiful place, Guus and his wife were able to restore this old school with great taste and while keeping its original character.

I will return in winter for sure, the place is amazing and it is well located and in a place of tales, it has an amazing view of the lake and the privacy and convenience that surpasses the other lodgings we have tasted, and as amazing as it looks has the best price in the region. I loved everything and am super grateful for Eivind who helped us and everything Simply great everything Thank you very much Eivind for everything

A nicely decorated apartment with a great view. We enjoyed sauna and pool- it was very clean and water temperature was comfortably warm. We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed sauna in both evenings. The apartment was quiet. When opening balcony, there's some sound from traffic, but with the door closed you don't hear anything. Beds are super-comfortable! There's an oven- we baked a pizza and it worked perfectly! Washing machine is available, but it's said to be outside the apartment in a separate laundry room. Overall, the apartment is very compact. It might feel too small for a longer stay, but as for our stay of 2 nights (4 adults), it fitted all our needs!

The stay at Joakim’s was very pleasant. He was very communicative and was very available for anything we may have needed.

This was amongst one of the best Airbnb (not only for norway, but for all my travel history.) Home was cozy, all the instructions were given with too much clarity. Good parking place and so many things like fruits and many more was kept for our consumption. Too much thoughtful it was. Most comfortable stay. Keep it up.

Great stay and beautiful place.

The home is a 20 minute drive from Vik, where you can get groceries and restaurants, but it's a beautiful drive so we didn't mind it at all. We sat and watched the sky change over the fjord every morning.

This property was by FAR the most amazing Airbnb I have ever stayed at! The views were breath taking. The house had every single thing you need and more. The host went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience possible. If you are seeing this post you MUST take this opportunity to stay here. We rented the boat for a very reasonable price and it enhanced our experience ten fold. Host is flexible and extremely responsive at all times of the day. Loved every second we had here and if I ever come back to Norway I will definitely be staying here again.

When we left Marit's home, we all felt a little emotional. The trip had been such a great time of rest and adventure, and the place felt like home. We ate breakfast and dinner at the home, which saved a lot of money, and we were also able to do laundry, which was incredibly helpful since we had packed very small bags. It would be impossible to describe how beautiful the home and surrounding countryside is - I live in a farming town in the mountains and it's hard to impress me with natural beauty, but Vik took our breath away. We listened to the bells of the sheep every morning and evening and hiked in the mountains above the rental. We watched local people play soccer and children go to school and boats come and go. We drove to Flam (beautiful, but Vik is 1000% more lovely), took a ferry to Balestrand (worth it), and fell in love with the drive over the tundra above Vik. Marit was a perfect, warm, kind, lovely host and we can't recommend the rental enough. We miss it already.

Hans and Emily's house is a real gem! Everything has been thought of, there is everything you need and more. The rooms are beautiful and the house has a special charm. A travel cot and high chair were provided for our daughter, there are games for children and adults - so even in bad weather there is no room for boredom. Charging the electric car also worked perfectly (for a more than fair fee). The communication with Hans during the stay was very friendly and helpful. All in all, a really great place to stay with so many options that we hope to try out on our next visit (canoeing, BBQ, swimming etc). Many thanks to Emily and Hans and all the best!

A fantastic place. Pure nature and relaxation. The cottage is lovingly furnished and makes the stay here a pleasure. We were very warmly welcomed. The host was always available to us.

The accommodation is great, beautiful view of the fjord, very comfortable and clean. Our only downside is that we had the children's rooms rather than the adult rooms to sleep in. Thank you Henriette for your hospitality
