Holiday rentals with beach access in Vik

Everything about the house was great. The only small inconvenience we experienced was with the driveway—it’s quite steep and leads directly to the owner’s garage at the top. Because of that, we had to re-park our car at the bottom of the driveway after dropping off our luggage. Not a big issue, but something to be aware of if you're arriving by car.

We had a great stay! Such a lovely apartment! Paid parking available in multiple spots around the neighbourhood so that was nice and easy. And all our activities within town were walking distance (sauna, breakfast and dinner). Only a 12 mins drive to Flam. Would definitely stay again :)

Communication with Kenneth was very simple and quick. Self check-in at the apartment with detailed instructions to easily find the accommodation. Free parking space in front of the accommodation. The apartment is comfortable, as described and in the immediate vicinity of a supermarket which is convenient. Good location to discover Balestrand and the Sognefjord, I recommend it.

WOW WOW WOW. I can't even believe we got to stay here. What a privilege! It looks even better than the pictures. The view is unbeatable. Marit was kind and warm, available but not overbearing. I mentioned we were doing the sauna in Aurland (recommend!! Aurland, not Flåm!) and she left towels out for us. messaged to ask how the trip was going and if we needed a shoe dryer. This Airbnb is everything an Airbnb should be and more, Marit is everything an Airbnb host should be and more! Thank you, Marit, for a fantastic stay. Tusen takk!!!

Rune’s place by far is one of our best stays yet! Beautiful surroundings.. Amazing apartment, had everything we needed plus the host was nice to put out a bottle of wine for us! Beds were comfy and also had car charging facilities! A lovely deck to chill on in the evenings was a super plus!

Bard's place is an excellent choice for us. Good location and even a great idea driving around to neighboring places. Private, quiet place and clean. The sauna is my plus favorite. Bard has complete amenities in the apartment. I highly recommend.

Peder’s guesthouse is cozy and peaceful. The views of the fjord are amazing. The kitchen was well stocked and there were detailed instructions for how to use everything. It makes amazing use of such a small space! We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to stay along our road trip.

This apartment is conveniently located just across a short walkable bridge into the heart of the village. The host was flexible in meeting us at the home to show us the upstairs unit. The bathroom includes heated flooring which is a nice amenity and off street parking was provided for our rental car. Overall a nice option for a couple days stay in Flåm.

Quite possibly the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at and exceeded expectations in every way. The house is large, modern, super clean, and as comfortable as a 5 star boutique hotel. Undredal is THE place to stay in this part of Norway. It’s super close to many hikes and attractions in nearby Flåm/Aurland but way more charming. Birger Olaf was a great host. He gave us several good recommendations for activities to do nearby and greeted us on our last day. Check in couldn’t have been easier. How lucky were we to find such a luxurious accommodation in one of the most beautiful villages in Norway.

we found villa tippetue easily, very nicely located with views of the Sognefjord. we did indeed have to go through a piece of forest of about 70m first. unfortunately not much luck with the weather, we did see a little sun every day. the cottage has a very nice terrace with views of the fjord and a cozy living room. there were maps available for walks in the area, also detailed laminated maps. unfortunately the very local part was not present, probably accidentally taken by a previous visitor. We downloaded the Norwegian maps app Norgeskart. The walk stupet naveset tronvik - on the flank there - is also well indicated. There is a ladder and a section where ropes assist the descent (our dog could easily find his own way around). The ground was still quite wet and sometimes slippery (early June) in hoyanger also nice walking. To flam it is a good 3h drive. Recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at Lars' house! The views from the modern jacuzzi were absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The house itself is spacious and beautifully designed, with a large, well-equipped kitchen that made cooking a pleasure. We especially appreciated the use of the nearby boat for a bit of adventure on the water, and the charming hiking cabin up on the mountain was a cosy retreat to warm up in if needed. Don’t miss the nearby Likholefossen waterfall—it's definitely worth a visit! Lars was a friendly and generous host who made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

Beautiful modern house with an amazing view. We were lucky to have some very good weather and so we made use of the outdoor area which was well equipped with furniture and barbecue equipment. The house was very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return! The home was clean, and well equipped. We spent all of our evenings on the deck enjoying the fresh air and gorgeous view (there was even a heat lamp to keep us warm). The home was a short drive from many hiking and biking opportunities.

Aurland Fjordhutter is simply magical! Tord met us on arrival, showed us around… we were blown away by the view… it’s as if you have the fjord all to yourself! We weren’t brave enough to dip into the fjord but there’s your own private ladder off the deck into the fjord… As far as the accom itself, it was comfortable, clean, practical and well equipped. The upstairs private and sheltered veranda was the perfect location to watch the sun go down.. We were so glad to have stayed in Aurland vs Flåm (we had a car). To escape the hive of tourists (yes noted - we are too!) to this slice of paradise… so added to our time here! Highly recommend

Do. Not. Hesitate. To stay at Ann Iren’s immaculate 1865 cottage right on the fjord! She is a gracious, attentive host, and I now use a word to describe the cottage that I haven’t uttered in many years: charming! We spent four nights touring around the area and simply relaxing. The cottage’s location and ambiance is perfect for both. Many thanks, Ann Iren!!

Caroline historic house is a gem ! Located in a beautiful little historic village. Great interior with nice mix of antique and modern. Brand new kitchen, bathroom. And Caroline helps out with great advice on all you can do the area.

We loved Trude's place. The view is stunning we took pictures every morning of our stay because it was irresistible. Grocery right next door and 15mins drive to Flam. Trude always responsive to our questions. Highly recommend booking Trude's place.

We had a lovely stay, the house had everything we needed for a lovely stay. House does have owners belongings in as mentioned in other reviews but this honestly didn't effect our stay. kids enjoyed playing on the playstation after a long day on the road 😊 Home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. parking outside but please note you can't use the EV charger.

We really enjoyed Armando's place. In particular, the great view of the fjord, which you also had in the morning from the bedroom, impressed us very much. It is very quiet and ideally accessible by car. We also found the separate TV room very comfortable in the evening. Thank you for everything.

Incredibly nice apartment with everything you might need. Cheerful host who responded quickly to all messages. Especially positive that there were both prepared beds and towels, as well as a baby bed available. We had a very nice stay.

Josie's place is a fantastic retreat in beautiful surroundings. It's fairly off the beaten track but a short hop to Mo which is not only stunning but has a store, pool, library, restaurant etc... We were travelling with a 2 year old and Josie's place was absolutely perfect for us. Lots of toys, books and games (inside and out) walkable to the river and a lovely little toddler bed in our room. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle with no TV and WiFi. Lovely family time and memories.

Ernst showed us the apartment and was always available if we needed help. He also gave us recommendations for our hikes. We felt really welcomed and loved our stay in the apartment ☺️ The apartment and the views were amazing. We would come back any time.

We had some trouble getting into the property because we didn't have the code at check-in. The accommodation was clean and well-equipped, especially suitable for two people. The noise from the main road is noticeable inside, but not likely to disturb sleep, after a busy day...
