Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Viana do Castelo

The house of Aldara and her family was wonderful. The garden with the pool is a paradise. Everything very clean and the absolute tranquility of the countryside. The pool and garden are cleaned daily. Aldara and her father were always available and insanely nice, helpful and hospitable. We were there for almost 3 weeks and felt at home. We have absolutely nothing to complain about and will definitely be back. Thanks for a great and relaxing vacation🇵🇹❣️

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Casa Isabel in Geraz do Lima. We were warmly welcomed by David, Sr Joaquim's son, who gave us a tour of the house and its amenities. Casa Isabel is a charming traditional Portuguese villa with absolutely stunning gardens, a large and inviting swimming pool, and comfortable rooms. The pictures accurately portray the property. The house is impeccably clean and well-equipped, making us feel right at home. It was a pleasure chatting with Sr Joaquim, although far too brief. Portuguese hospitality truly shines! A well-stocked mini-market and bakery are just a two-minute walk away, adding to the convenience of our stay. Casa Isabel is an ideal base for exploring the region by car. We enjoyed day trips to Porto, Guimarães, Braga, Viana do Castelo, Ponte de Lima, and many other fascinating places. I highly recommend Casa Isabel!

House at the top very very clean everything was nikel everything smelled very good Very nice host couple. Everything was available to us. A lot of kitchen amenities Basics: oil, vinegar, salt , pepper , spices, coffee, tea and much more All the necessary equipment for the baby: bed , potty , small bathtub, high chair. Exterior terrace, BBQ kit, outdoor equipment Only small downside in one of the bedrooms the mattress was not of very good quality so no good sleep but nikel in the other 3 bedrooms No neighborhood noise (except the bell tower every half hour) Stay at the top if we had to do it again, we'd do the same

Nice holiday place. Especially recommend it in summer. The swimming pool zone is equipped with sunbeds, barbecue. Nothing excess in the apartment, only things that you need for a good rest. There is a fireplace in the house.

Do you want privacy and beauty? Do you like world class gardening? How about a lovely trout stream just a few feet from the back door? This place is truly a find for those seeking to get away from cities, noise, or whatever causes you stress, it simply cannot be more beautiful and relaxing. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, lovely mountains to hike. Near Afife, which is a quiet town, I didn't see discos or bars, the beach was blessedly empty, we really loved being there. My highest recommendation.

Maria, It was 20******** She was extremely friendly, attentive, always available. He welcomes you very well, with treats that any guest likes. Her house was extremely clean, tidy and with everything we needed to have a beautiful stay. It has a wonderful garden for sunbathing and a fabulous space for my dog Moana, who delighted in the freedom she had to play and walk around. A beautiful hideaway in the countryside. The apartment we stayed in was the two bedroom one and it had everything you need in the kitchen, bathroom and living areas. It has been tastefully furnished and decorated making it feel very homely. The pool, although small, was perfectly adequate for us and lots of sun beds to use and hammocks to lie and snooze in the shade. Outside our apartment were table and chairs and a fire pit. You definitely need a car if you want to eat out either in Viana or Ponte de Lima both of which are lovely towns although Ponte de Lima is very historic and charming and where we preferred to go at night. Also check out the municipal swimming pool there - €3 each for adults for the whole day! But the absolute best thing about our stay was Joana - and her lovely family. Joana went above and beyond for us. She has made a beautiful place for people to holiday and her warmth and kindness means we will return year after year. Cannot recommend enough!

The apartment was as described. I was very good in terms of cleanliness as in location. 20 minutes to Plaza de la Republica. The area is a residential neighborhood with a supermarket 2 minutes from the house. Maria has been a great host who has helped us with everything we needed. Thank you so much.

The apartment is within walking distance opposite a beach. In the evening it is quiet and the view from the roof terrace is just beautiful. Super good beds, a beautiful and functional furnishings with a great kitchen leave nothing to be desired. We always had a delicious dish from our own stove in the evening after the excursions. Minimarcet is within walking distance, very tasty bakery with coffee outside and opposite local, fresh fish in minutes. A good location for long beaches or excursions by car to the area Braga, Porto, Viano do Castello and high on the coast to Caminho. One of the best accommodations so far for us. Thank you.

Really great apartment, pretty new, and spotlessly clean. Right downtown at the historic district. A couple of inconveniences, though - I bumped my head in the bathroom a few times (it's a loft), and the oven was really hard to operate.

The house is very good, clean, comfortable, with all equipment for a great stay. Tania is a kind person, concerned with offering the best, and quick responses. It made our check-out flexible, and since the wi-fi was slow on account of the supplier company, it immediately provided a signal repeater that solved the problem. Indico !

The unit was lovely and as advertised. It was very nice to have some outdoor space. There were a few good restaurants nearby to choose from. It’s a quiet area to stay in, and obviously ideal for water sport enthusiasts. The beach is less suitable for sun bathing due to the strong Atlantic winds!

Aida is a great host, she has put her home at our disposal very much as described in the heart of the city, even in the middle of the holidays it is well isolated and allows you to rest, her place is impeccable as well as the bed and bath linen. We enjoyed the local parties, all on foot, beach access by shuttle, restaurants and entertainment nearby, Aida is very responsive and responds either by phone or email. We strongly recommend their place and will come back as soon as the opportunity arises. A big thank you to Aida for her kindness and kindness.

A luxury home very close to many places to see. Large, very large rooms, with closets and TV. Luxury amenities and a clean and impeccable house. The host was friendly, always attentive to us. It was a 10-star stay. We will definitely be back.

Lurdes' home is great for a family getaway and with children. His house is spacious and has a swimming pool, even for children. In addition, it is well located, close to small villages that are worth visiting. Lurdes was a caring host and her house was spotless. We recommend it 100%, we were very comfortable there.

very beautiful house with a maintained garden. very pretty pool too. the owner was kind enough to give us clean sheets and towels in the middle of the stay, as well as vegetables from his garden. the only downside is the busy street but we knew it when booking.

Sergio’s property was gorgeous - even better than expected. It was the perfect location for a family get together from ages 8-80. Would highly recommend to others and hope to be back again in the future!

This is a wonderful house. The garden is full of fruit trees and has gorgeous mountain views. The infinity swimming pool is secluded and a delight. I will miss my breakfasts on the terrace as well as the barbecues in the evening. The house itself is super comfortable, the beds, the showers, the AC... It's very well kitted out with anything you could need, games, towels for the pool etc... It is one minute walk from a very pretty bridge over a small river and two minute walks from a cafe that also sells great food (the steak sandwiches are a must!). The location is perfect to visit the area, you can be on the motorway in three minutes to go to Porto, Galicia, the coast etc... The hosting is also perfect. Thank you very much for the bottle of champagne and the great recommendations from Marco. We are a family with three teenagers and we all adored our stay. Strong recommend.

we were a group of 10 people and spent the weekend during the famous Sra D'Agonia festivities. The house is extremely comfortable, the staff very helpful. it was amazing to be so close to the center of Viana to enjoy several events but also have a base where we could enjoy time in the pool, cook, and eat as a group of friends. the piano was a very nice plus. an element of our group plays and it felt so much more intimate to be able to enjoy him playing for us.
