There is a short distance to Trollstigen, Åndalsnes, Molde and Ålesund. Fantastic hiking opportunities and nature experiences are available nearby. Private beach is included. The waterfront house has a loft in addition to the two bedrooms. The loft has two mattresses of 120 cm x 200 cm. There is a freezer. There is a heat pump for heating and cooling.

Here you can relax or be active. Enjoy nature with trips to the mountains in the immediate area, both on skis and on foot. Go out on the lake with kayaks or boat. Cycle on quiet roads. Boats, kayaks and bicycles can be rented for a reasonable price. Take a drive to Åndalsnes, Trollstigen, Ålesund or Molde. Come home and enjoy the evening with good food on the grill and cozy around the campfire. The hot tub is ready to soften up after today's activity. The house is located on our family land, so you get the opportunity to live next to local people who give you tips on things to do in the area. Sjøholt is the perfect location for exploring the nearby tourist attractions. Both summer and winter, this is a perfect base-camp for exploring Sunnmøre and Romsdal. The house has a quiet and peaceful location, and is well equipped with what you need.

This is a perfect spot if you want to explore some of the most popular sights in this area, like Geiranger, Trollstigen, Ålesund and Atlanterhavsveien. Or maybe you want to go hiking in the mountains, or use the boat or kayak? We can´t promise that the sun will shine during your stay - but we can promise a relaxing experience waking up to the view of the fjord.

We offer our cabins for rental. The main cabin has 2 bedrooms (sleeps 6), a kitchen, sitting area with fireplace and a dining area. It also has a utility room with underfloor heating and a sink to freshen up. The 2nd and smaller cabin has 3 sleeping places and a spacious bathroom. Idyllisk beliggende hytte på strekningen Ålesund - Geiranger. Hytta ligger på en sæter/støl i fri natur, omkranset av fjell og nær ei elv. Hytta har enkel standard. Strøm fra solcellepanel til kjøleskap, lys og mobil. Utedo, ikke innlagt vann. Koking på gass og utendørs gassgrill kan benyttes. 3 sengeplasser. Her finner du ro og hvile både for kropp og sjel, nær flotte vandreruter i fjellet.

Hjelvik Stabburet

Hjelvik stabburet is from the 1700s. There are two rooms with double beds and one bathroom with a toilet and shower. Up on the 2nd floor there is a pull-out bed/kids bed. There are stoves on both floors. Poor mobile connection in the area, so it's a perfect place to relax and escape from the hectic everyday life. You can find a mobile signal if you walk around the yard a bit.
