Cabin holiday rentals in Vestnes

We stayed here for our honeymoon and WOW what an amazing place. The views from the cabin are insane, we were snowed in for a few days but the cabin was the perfect place for a few slow days! Ellen-Kristine and Bjørn we're really helpful and quick to respond when we had any questions. They even got a friendly neighbour to check we were ok when the unexpected snow arrived! For outdoor activities the location is perfect, Stranda itself is very quiet, it's a fairly long drive (40mins) for any nice restaurants, but that was fine with us!

We had a wonderful stay at Merete and Jesper’s beautiful home. The house was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to unwind, and we felt at home right away. You can really tell how much thought and care has gone into making it such a special place. This stay was a real highlight of our trip—we’d love to come back. Thank you, Merete and Jesper, for being such thoughtful and welcoming hosts!

We had such a wonderful time at this cabin! It was perfect for our small group of friends. We really enjoyed the breathtaking view while preparing meals in the kitchen, grilling in the gazebo, and relaxing in the hot tub. Hanne and Ole were very hospitable and the communication was excellent before during and after our stay. We hope to all visit again soon!

A magical place with a lovely cottage. Modern and simple at the same time, with everything you need to enjoy the peace and quiet of the outdoors. Stefan was a fantastic host who answered all the stupid questions we had in an excellent way. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

small but cozy cabin. Large terrace and short walk down to the jetty with the possibility of barbecuing. There were both benches and tables down there Could have been more furniture on the terrace and very quiet between the rooms. That was probably the only downside we had a good time at the cabin. Recommended 👍🌞

Kristina’s Sagvika Lodge is a beautiful, private and peaceful haven along the shore. Great location for exploring Alesund and the surrounding area, or for sitting and relaxing with the sounds of the nearby stream and the Fjord. The beds were also the most comfortable on our trip to Norway! I will just note that the path down to the cabin from the parking area is steep in a few places. It wasn’t a problem for me, but I was visiting with my 85 year old parents and they had to take it really slowly going down the path and back up, and we planned the days around doing that round-trip only once. Kristina did tell me about the path when I booked, but I don’t think I fully appreciated it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s fine for folks who are steady on their feet. As an overweight 50-something year old, it was not a problem, and I look forward to coming again someday. I would just think twice for folks with mobility concerns.

My husband and I had the most wonderful trip to the amazing cottage <3, we also ended up extending our stay because it was so beautiful, so 6 amazing days, we will definitely come back :) Everything was perfect. Wow for a place!! We look forward to the next visit there :-) thank you for everything.

We had a wonderful week at the cabin. Lots of snow made the vacation very adventurous but also very cozy. We even saw incredible northern lights! The communication with Sigve was very pleasant as he was very easy to reach. This cabin was perfect for our winter getaway. Thank you so much for the nice week.

We had a wonderful stayin a calm and beautiful place surrounded by mountains. The house was clean and fully equipped. Its a good place to stay with family and friends. Catherine is proactive and responsive.

I had a great stay at this beautiful cabin! The views were out of this world, magical! Many hiking trails starting right outside the door. The cabin itself is so cute and comes with a gas stove, a fireplace, a radio, lights on batteries. There's a water tank which you can fill up right outside, and the toilet is a 200m walk away but it's definitely clean for an outhouse! Make sure to check if your shoes are waterproof, my hiking boots apparently were not and that makes the walk to the toilet a lot less pleasant😅 Overall 10/10 stay in this beautiful landscape!! Make sure to bring your own map or download the map from norgeskart, and do your research on the hikes beforehand (e.g. Middagshornet is absolutely gorgeous but not for the inexperienced hiker)

Fantastic accommodation - we loved it! Really well situated for all the places we wanted to see. Whilst the accommodation is next to a road, it was very quiet!

This is a lovely and cosy cabin with a great veranda with stunning views of Storfjorden. Peaceful location and very friendly hosts. There are wonderful hikes right from the cabin as well as in the general area. It is also a great base for day trips to Ålesund, Geirangerfjord etc. Highly recommend a stay here!

A dream place in the mountains! The cabin was cozy, well equipped and everything was sparkling clean. We really appreciated the silence, the nature and the incredible view. Everything was great from start to finish. We will definitely come back – thank you so much for a magical stay! 💫

After a long trip we were kindly welcomed with a burning fire and candles. Outside it was rainy. Very attractively furnished house with more than enough space for us and the children. The jacuzzi was a lovely end to every day. Unfortunately we had to go home earlier due to family circumstances Certainly subject to repetition.

Nice arrival and the host was ready to show us the cabin and gave us the information we needed. We were two adults and three kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. Well-equipped kitchen, where everything we needed was there. It was a little cold in the cabin when we woke up in the morning, but the fireplace heated quickly. Otherwise clean and tidy, and it looked like the picture. We were a bit unfortunate that there was no snow and skiing conditions, but there were nice walks nearby. Would definitely recommend the cabin and we would love to come back.

Information from and communication with Norgesbooking was really good. The cabin we rented was very nice, cozy and had everything we needed while we were in Vestnes.

Very cozy nature chalet. The solar panel provides electricity for light but no phone or other charging: a good way to disconnect! Gaziniere and gas fridge ( we did not test the fridge) A stove is available with wood to heat up . The main shower was not working but that of the sauna works with a manual pump (cold water or you have to mix with the heated hot water) , the children bathed in the torrent . Wood-fired sauna Susan was very welcoming and responsive to all our requests . Her cottage is superb , a haven of peace, cozy to be quiet. She took us by car to the cottage to give us all the instructions. We loved this great experience! Thanks

We had a great time at Karl Helge's house. It's better than the description and the pictures. There are 3 full bedrooms, a bathroom, a large modern kitchen and a great living room with a new couch and good TV. But the outdoor area is even better. You can spread out on 3 terraces, use the great hot tub overlooking the fjord or fish from the jetty. You are completely undisturbed and in the middle of nature. Karl Helge is very nice and helpful and showed and explained everything in the house. The only small criticism is the way down to the house by car. Although going down is no problem. Going up can be a bit difficult without four-wheel drive and in slippery conditions. Karl Helge's tip to drive the most difficult part backwards with front-wheel drive was worth its weight in gold and not that difficult. We would love to spend a few more days at this great place at some point!
