we came back to this beautiful place after our first visit in May 2023. The reason we came back is that it is one of the most beautiful places we ever stayed at. Seeing the watefall in the morning and smelling the fresh air after waking up directly from the bed is the best experience. Torstein and his team made us feel so welcome again and took exceptional care of us! we had two 5 course dinners at the restaurant we enjoyed so much and the breakfast was the perfect start of our days :)! We will come back again and defintly recommend this place. Thanks a lot

Anne og datteren hennes var veldig hyggelige verter. Vi følte oss hjemme hos de. Stedet var fantastisk, veldig koselig hus med flere fine fellesstuer. De voksne koste seg ved peisen mens barna koste seg skikkelig med Lego i barnekroken. God mat, vi spiste fjellørret, poteter og agurksalat til middag med nydelig sjokoladekake til dessert. Frokostbuffet med mye å velge fra. Rommene vår koselige og rene. Vi har lyst til å komme tilbake igjen ved en senere anledning.

Had a very pleasant stay at meretes place. The tent was cozy and had a mini heater too. We had a good chat early morning discussing various topics and the breakfast (chia pudding, croissant) was excellent. I didn’t get to say hi 👋 to the pet dog :( I would definitely recommend this place.

très belle nuit chez Anne Lise dans la tente Tipi malgré une pluie battante et un peu de vent, nous avons pu compter sur un confort absolu! l espace cuisine est très pratique, les sanitaires très propres et très pratiques Anne Lise est une hôte très accueillante elle a à cœur que vous vous sentiez bien, avec pleins d attention à votre égard elle a pu nous recommander certains périples différents selon la météo qui était plutôt incertaine Merci Anne Lise!

Ons verblijf bij Vik was geweldig. Vik Pensjonat ligt heel centraal in het gezellige Eidfjord, wat dan weer de perfecte uitvalsbasis is om de Gardangervidda te bezoeken, meer te weten te komen over de Vikingen en je logeert er tussen de fjorden met een geweldig zicht! De kamer is niet groot maar heel mooi en gezellig ingericht (precies zoals je op de foto ziet). De gedeelde badkamer is een minpuntje, maar we waren hiervan heel duidelijk op de hoogte gebracht bij de boeking. Dus daarover mogen we zeker niet klagen. Al kan de badkamer misschien wel eens een upgrade gebruiken, het past ook wel bij de charme van het huis. Oh en ik mag zeker niet vergeten te vermelden: Vik Pensjonat heeft de beste bakkerij! Probeer er zeker hun kaneelkoek en chocolade-suisse. De beste van Noorwegen!

Auberge de jeunesse située en bord de lac, à quelques centaines de mètres du centre ville. Les chambres sont bien isolées, on n'entend rien même dans celles qui donnent sur la route. Buffet petit-déjeuner dans une salle à manger avec vue sur le lac : très agréable.

More vintage en rustieke uitstraling. we hadden het hele pension voor onszelf wat een aparte ervaring was. erg mooi uitzicht. uitrusting was wat gedateerd.

Grande maison disposant de plusieurs chambres privatives, nous l'avons pour nous tout seul. Dispose des éléments nécessaires. Le style est un peu old school mais cela apporte son charme ! De plus l'emplacement est agréable en surplomb du lac.

Lieber Ole, es ist ein ganz besonderer Ort mit einem sehr eigenen Flair! Man spürt genau , wieviel Einsatz du gibst, das ganze Anwesen wieder auf Vordermann zu bringen mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Und da nimmt man gerne in Kauf, wenn hier und da noch wahrnehmbar ist, dass viele Jahre, bevor du es gewagt hast, dieses Projekt zu übernehmen, nichts gemacht wurde. Es ist alles da, was man braucht, es ist super gepflegt, überall sogar Flüssigseife, tolle Duschen und lustige Erlebnisse, wenn einen neugierige Geißen beäugen oder wenn plötzlich nachts noch neue Gäste in der Küche stehen und kein Doppelbett wollen. Du warst sofort erreichbar für sie und hast das Problem gelöst😉 Danke für alles! Anke und Kaspar
