Anne and her daughter were very pleasant hosts. We felt at home at their place. The place was amazing, very cozy house with several nice common rooms. The adults enjoyed themselves by the fireplace while the kids really enjoyed the Lego in the nook. Good food, we ate mountain trout, potatoes and cucumber salad for dinner with lovely chocolate cake for dessert. Breakfast buffet with a lot to choose from. Our rooms cosy and clean. We want to come back again in the future.

we came back to this beautiful place after our first visit in May 2023. The reason we came back is that it is one of the most beautiful places we ever stayed at. Seeing the watefall in the morning and smelling the fresh air after waking up directly from the bed is the best experience. Torstein and his team made us feel so welcome again and took exceptional care of us! we had two 5 course dinners at the restaurant we enjoyed so much and the breakfast was the perfect start of our days :)! We will come back again and defintly recommend this place. Thanks a lot

Had a very pleasant stay at meretes place. The tent was cozy and had a mini heater too. We had a good chat early morning discussing various topics and the breakfast (chia pudding, croissant) was excellent. I didn’t get to say hi 👋 to the pet dog :( I would definitely recommend this place.

very nice night at Anne Lise's in the Tipi tent Despite heavy rain and a little wind, we were able to count on absolute comfort! The kitchen area is very convenient, the bathrooms are very clean and very convenient. Anne Lise is a very welcoming host. she is committed to making you feel good, with plenty of attention to your needs She was able to recommend some different trips depending on the weather which was rather uncertain. Thank you Anne Lise!

Our stay at Vik's place was great. Vik Pensjonat is very centrally located in the cozy Eidfjord, which is the perfect base to visit the Gardangervidda, get to know more about the Vikings and you will stay among the fjords with a great view! The room is not large but very nice and cozily furnished (just as you see in the photo). The shared bathroom is a downside, but we were very clearly informed of this at the time of booking. So we certainly can't complain about that. Although the bathroom might use an upgrade, it also fits the charm of the house. Oh and I definitely shouldn't forget to mention: Vik Pensjonat has the best bakery! Be sure to try their cinnamon cake and chocolate-suisse. The best of Norway!

Large house with several private bedrooms, we have it to ourselves. Has the necessary items. The style is a little old school but it brings its charm! In addition, the location is pleasant overlooking the lake.

A nice place on Hardanger fjord

Great hospitality, the house is located on the heights on the coast of the fjord, which makes it easy to access. We didn't get a chance to see the panorama given the weather, too bad. Helena is very welcoming, with very interesting conversation topics, respecting privacy, it's very pleasant. The breakfast is indeed worth a visit, as is its ceramics and paintings! Thank you again for hosting us!
