Auvergne Holiday Cottage/Gite Sleeps 4

Set in the countryside, 4 kilometers from Condat and adjoining our home, is our Cantal farmhouse known as a longère. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, large living room with traditional fire place and log burner, internet tv, two bedrooms, bathroom, and fitted kitchen. Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer. Whatever the time of year, you’ll enjoy the Longère’s comfort and charm.

Charming and characterful house

A charming house with a renovated tower with all comforts in 2024. The market tower is located in the center of the village of Allanche. Thanks to its central location, the bakery, butcher shop, supermarkets, bars, etc. are within walking distance. The house has 2 bedrooms with double beds and one bedroom with a 3-level bunk bed. There is also a baby bed on site. Come and relax in the heart of the Massif Central, nature and all summer activities await you.

Located in the heart of the volcanoes between the Cantal mountains, the Puy de Sancy Range and the Auvergne volcanoes, which will allow you to undertake a wide range of activities.

Small, self-contained house with a view and a large terrace, perfect for a rejuvenating nature getaway as a couple, with family or with friends. 🌿 Hiking trails start right outside your door. The house is 5 minutes from the Col de Serre cross-country ski resort and 20 minutes from the Le Lioran ski resort.

Our cottage is located in the mountain hamlet of Les Boissines, located at 1150 m altitude and offers spectacular views of the Cantal mountains. Departure from the house to the hiking trails, and 6 minutes from Lioran station. Area of 110 m2 with kitchen, living room, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, 4 bedrooms (one of which opens onto the mezzanine) with double beds. Terrace, garage, 3500 m2 lot.

The guard pavilion of the Château de la Cheyrelle is a comfortable cottage with unusual charm (rated 4 stars), built in 1906 by the Parisian architect René Dulong and the famous Liégeois decorator Gustave Serrurier-Bovy, master of Art Nouveau. It is an authentic haven of peace in the heart of unspoiled nature, ideal for exploring the riches of Cantal or climbing the slopes of Puy Mary.
