Holiday rentals with lake access in Verem

We 5 friends had a great time in the 5 bedroom villa. The location is superb, very much out of the urban City and far from beaches, but alongside a beautiful river. It's perched on a hillock with a lovely view of the river. We could see Mopa airport in the distance from the villa. There's dense vegetation beside the property and we could hear peacock sounds, though not fortunate to see one. Lots of birds around the property. Though the food was not Goan in taste, it was good and the service was good too. This property is away from the main market and may not be suitable for couples but would be great for a large family or group of friends. Though we were 5 of us, we had a great time.

I stayed at Robert’s house for three days with my parents, and I must say the place is quite spacious and absolutely clean. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils, and there’s a gas cylinder in case you want to make a simple breakfast or some tea/coffee. Both rooms have air conditioning, which was a big plus. The location is fantastic—just a 2–3 minute walk from Ashwem Beach. There’s a supermarket, coffee shops, a wine shop, and multiple restaurants nearby, including beachside shacks. The beach itself is super clean and peaceful. Mandrem and Morjim beaches are also close by, though having a vehicle makes getting around much easier. Robert is an amazing host. He helped with everything—from receiving us to assisting with booking a self-drive car. He was always available on call whenever we needed anything. Just very helpful overall. Would definitely love to visit again!

Kanta is a very kind person who made us feel welcome in her home. We were staying on the first floor of the house which was nice and breezy. The private balcony is great. In the evening we were having drinks together in the garden with Kanta and her husband and it was a cute village experience. Come with an open mind and you will be rewarded. Keri doesn't have a lot of tourist infrastructure and is a very laid back village, which is what we needed. You can take the ferry across to Tiracol and visit Rockshell restaurant.

A Perfect Getaway with Stunning Backwaters View I had a wonderful stay at wahiida’s in Goa! The highlight of the place is undoubtedly the beautiful backwaters view, which creates a serene and peaceful atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind, away from the crowds. The location is also great—just a 10-minute drive to the beach and some lovely cafés. The surroundings are quiet and scenic, making it ideal for anyone looking for a tranquil retreat. The home itself was well-maintained, clean, and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Overall, a fantastic experience! Highly recommend this place for those seeking a mix of nature, comfort, and easy access to Goa’s beaches and cafés. Would love to visit again!

The place was great, beautifully located inside a secure society, had all the amenities required. The host as well as the security gaurd were really helpful.

It is extremely difficult finding a place to accommodate for 20+ people, and also ensuring that each day no quality in regards to hygiene and hospitality is sacrificed. The Raina Villa's 8BHK accommodation was truly a blessing! Saransh was extremely helpful throughout the booking process, and was an extremely patient and an understanding host for all of us throughout the trip. The housekeepers- Rocky and Gautham were extremely hospitable, kind and were there anytime we needed them, they ensured that everyday we came back to spotless rooms and ensured that the remarkable experience of first walking into the villa was maintained throughout our vacation. We would all recommend this villa due to it's price, location, quality along with the hospitable nature both Saransh and the housekeeping provided, and we cannot wait to stay at the Raina Villas again!

Lovely property, the riverside infinity pool and views are very serene and peaceful. The interiors are luxurious and aesthetic. The caretaker was very helpful and friendly, good host team too. Thank you for hosting us. Will definitely visit soon again.

Kabir and Wahida’s place is a gem. Its just by the river and you wake up to every morning to only find it really blissful. Wahida has been really helpful overall. Great place to stay, a must visit and would recommend anybody who’d want to be in Goa.

I really enjoyed staying at Hitesh's AirBnB. The apartment was well maintained, and it proved to be a very comfortable stay for us. A special thanks to Jay, the manager, who also provided all help possible from his side. Looking forward to staying at Hitesh's place once again when I visit Goa the next time.

Spent an excellent vacation at this place with my family. Namita is a great host. Even though she does not stay at the location, she is always reachable through phone. It is very easy to communicate with her and resolve an issue in case you are facing any. I'd specially like to thank Kumar(caretaker)who helped us check in even though we reached the place after midnight. Now coming to the property, it boasts an excellent view of the mandovi river from the balcony. But what makes the property unique is its convenient location. It's located at a place which is not too close to the commercial beaches so that you face the continuous clamour of peak hour tourists, also it's not too far and you can reach the popular beaches of North Goa within 10-20 minutes. Moreover, it's equidistant from both the airports and reaching Panjim is just crossing the bridge visible from Balcony. So if you are looking to spend a peaceful holiday in North Goa, definitely consider staying here.

Vinod really is a superhost. He lives just on the floor above and genuinely cares about his guests. Pooja and Vinod's home is lovely and they have decorated it tastefully.

Had a really great time at the stay, the place was as described in the photos put up and we had a great check-in experience. The rooms were clean the view was great and our host Ishan was super helpful and accommodated to all of our needs. The stay was in a very peaceful neighborhood quiet and at the same time accessible to pubs and restaurants nearby. Overall a great experience. Will be coming back soon!

Siddesh, his team and Clemente are amazing people! Everything I read about the property is 100% true. The food is amazing. The stay is at an untouched location. They were generous to set up a candle night dinner at the beach. We are extremely happy and would recommend it to everyone!

Pratit's place is overwhelming in its beauty and serenity - words fail me when I try to describe how absolutely breathtaking the experience was. The rooms are well equipped, with a private bathroomworh high pressure shower for each room. Each room has a separate entrance, the upper floor has a common outdoor area, perfect to enjoy the view. The lower floor has a functional kitchen which you barely need to use as the team or Subramanium and Sudha take care of your every need without you needing to lift a finger. Don't go here if you are looking for digital entertainment or loud music/television. it's the spot to read, to watch birds (flocks of them, my binoculars were well used), to take calm walks and to watch the fish jump. For a lakeside location, the rooms are also well maintained, with minimum invasion of insects or moths. We really could not expect better. A special mention for dog lovers - your dog couldn't be happier and the people could not be friendlier to your pet.

This place is gem of a find for anyone who's looking for some peace and quiet. There's this balcony overlooking a lake, and it's priceless. This place felt like a private island for us in Goa! The host, Wilfred was kind enough to suggest some local recommendations as well. Our Goa trip was enhanced because of this little lullaby of a cottage.

The place is right at the beach and near some of the finest hotels in Goa. The compound has multiple small other cottages which keeps the goa vibe alibe along with peaceful nature of south goa. the place is apt for 4-5 people and extremely clean and beautiful, surrounded by 2 pools and beautiful common area. Sophie as a host is perfect, communicates effectively and provides insights whenever you ask for help. she is very flexibtand friendly. this will definitely not be the last time i have been to her listing.

Gerson was a really good host. Very helpful, cooperative and very friendly. He also guided us to a lot of places.
