Holiday rentals with a patio in Vénissieux

Excellent quiet location with shops and restaurants on a lively and charming street; Great clothes washer and nice hanging rack for drying; Lovely relatively new kitchen appliances with clean and spacious refrigerator, induction stovetop, nice dishwasher and oven – we did not use the oven Air conditioning and heater are effective and towel dryer works. A couple things worth mentioning: The apartment is NOT non-smoking, which is obvious when you walk in the door. As the write-up says, this is actually someone’s living space. The closets and dresser are all full; even the top of the dresser is almost entirely covered and there are no little stands beside the bed. It’s difficult to tell what we are meant to use and what supplies to leave alone; the freezer is totally full. The bed is tucked under a slanted roof with a beam across – tall people need to watch their heads

My wife and I highly recommend Sandra and Michel's apartment and will certainly be coming back if I we are lucky enough to return to Lyon in the future. Here's why: 1) The apartment is even nicer than we thought it would be. More spacious. Great AC. Super comfortable bed. Unbelievably quiet and peaceful. And that huge window that you see in the pictures bathes the entire apartment in the most beautiful sunlight. 2) The location is so much better than we realized! We knew very little about Lyon when we booked our stay, but after being there for 4 days, we were convinced that our little neighborhood was the best in Lyon thanks to the extraordinary views and gardens of the Basilica of Notre Dame de Fourvière, the close proximity to the ancient Roman theaters, and a lovely little neighborhood cafe. The only downside to the location is that all the shops are a 20-minute walk down (and then up!) a very steep hill. 3) Finally, Sandra and Michel were super helpful and responsive. The best!

Great accommodation, I enjoyed my stay and I recommend it! Just maybe the lack of a shutter for the bedroom is an area for improvement, but a sleep mask is enough to solve the problem!

We loved our stay at this charming bnb! It was very central, walkable, close to many amazing restaurants. Not too loud on a Friday night close to the city center. Ricardo and Claire were also gracious hosts, communicative and even recommended safe parking locations in the city when they learned we were driving in! We would stay again!

The apartment is exactly as described: spacious, well laid out, decorated with great taste, very clean, magnificent view of Lyon day and night, ideal for us (family of 6) or for 3 couples. Ricardo's generosity is remarkable through his availability, advice and guidance, the complete quality equipment he offers as well as the aesthetic choices of small equipment such as dishes, bed linen...

We had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful, quiet and clean house. The garden and the terrace were such a delight. Being 5 min from the city centre (by bus that just stopped outside) with a view over Lyon and the Alps and Mt. Blanc, and experiencing the quietness of the countryside with hens in the garden is something not to be missed. We had fresh eggs every morning! The hosts, Sam and Louis, are wonderful and professional in every respect. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with cheese, charcuterie and wine after being shown around the house, which is beautifully furnished with a high-tech kitchen, sound system and electrical shutters. The house can be extended to the terrace with large sliding doors. At the end of our week, the hosts gave us a ride to the train station (Perrace). This house is an absolute jewel, and I recommend it highly. I will definitely choose Sam and Louis as hosts next time I go to Lyon!

Enjoyed some good days in the apartment. My purpose was work and not hiking, but everything worked as it should and if there was something missing, Brice was there immediately to help, a wonderful experience that can surely be made even greater by also enjoying the adjacent nature. Delicious and clean apartment that matches the description.

We stayed 3 days, as a family. We found the accommodation very nice and pleasant. The view from the garden is beautiful. The children were able to enjoy the games (swings/trampoline) and even the pool! The hosts were very welcoming. The village of Bully is beautiful and the accommodation is in the heart of the village, while being quiet. I recommend it!!

Just spent three weeks at Cile's lovely and spacial apartment. It was as described and Cile was a very helpful host - explaining everything clearly to us and immediately attending to one small issue which we had. The apartment is a little out of Lyon centre, but an easy bus ride. The view of the river and having a great nearby boulangerie and fromagerie easily make up for that. It was really pleasant. As a group of four - we really appreciate that there was adequate seating in the living space and dining room and sufficient space in the fridge and kitchen for us to cook when we wanted. It was also great to have the toilet separate to the bathroom. We did find it a little awkward to walk through the main bedroom to the bathroom - this wouldn't be a problem with family however. To be fair, I think this detail might have been lost in translation from French to the English in the website description. Would definitely recommend Cile's apartment

We had a great stay with friends, the apartment was spacious, the beds comfortable and a nice quiet neighborhood with shops nearby, everything was great!!

Studio with self check-in, easy access, pleasant, small but well laid out, small terrace very nice for breakfast. Bakeries 15 min walk. Large, very shady park 100 m from the accommodation.

We stayed with six in this property. It was a great experience. Judith is very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation is great, very beautiful, very pleasant and in a beautiful environment. Everything is clean and spotless. I would definitely recommend this property.
