The village is conveniently located between Labège Innopole and Blagnac. Walk in the woods next door. For your cultural outings you are 20 minutes from the Cité de l'Espace and Aeroscopia. Albi is 40 minutes away (Unesco World Heritage Cathedral) 1 hour from the city of Carcassonne, Revel and its market and the St Férréol basin.

The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

Within the eco-friendly "La Colline aux Chevreuils", located on the heights of Volvestre facing the Pyrenees, less than an hour from Toulouse. La Cabane du Chevreuil welcomes you to a 4 ha permaculture site for a comfortable, exotic and informative stay in the heart of nature. Optionally in the evening, a platter of 10 varieties of farm cheeses will be served in the cabin or outside to admire the sunset accompanied by salad and wine as well as gourmet homemade desserts.

For optimal comfort, the apartment is air-conditioned and you will benefit from two parking spaces. A starter kit with sheets, coffee, tea, towel, sponge, etc. will be waiting so you don't have to worry about a thing.

The Yurt of Lovers (and their little ones)

Enjoy the charming setting of this romantic accommodation in a wooded location. This yurt is perfect for romantic getaways. The song of the birds, the warmth of the wood-burning stove, the skylight. The yurt is also great for small families! There is a table football set up there :) My husband and I are qualified masseurs and offer our services. We also have a partnership with a spa/bathhouse nearby.
