Waterfront holiday rentals in Vejle Fjord

I booked this place for my 3 boys for Christmas. Irma was friendly and quick to respond, and it was easy to get the key from her boyfriend in the same building. The apartment was clean and tidy and everything worked as it should. It's probably best for two people - not three. But for me who wanted to be close to my family in the city, it was a perfect solution.

Pia's place is just beautiful, spotlessly clean and with a lovely view over the harbour. We really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony enjoying the last sun of the day! There are numerous restaurants in the immediate area- we ate out at two which are on the waterfront in the same building as Pia's flat (so very convenient) All in all thoroughly recommended!

Troels is a perfect host. The apartment also exceeded our expectations, although the photos and descriptions were already very promising. Aarhus is a very attractive destination as a "young" city with a mixture of historical and contemporary architecture and cultural offerings. And the apartment absolutely complements this impression. Thank you from Hamburg!

Gitte responded to my messages immediately and sent info before we checked in. It was a nice big and spacious apartment and we even got a couple of extra hours in the apartment on the checkout day as no one came after us. A lovely place. Only warm recommendations from here.

Stine's flat at Kroneprinsensgade 14 in Odense is a real stroke of luck: spotlessly clean, lovingly and cosily furnished - you feel at home from the very first moment. Communication with Stine was quick, friendly and uncomplicated. The location is perfect: quiet, but only a few minutes from the city centre. Ideal for a relaxing stay in Odense. I will definitely be back. Thank you very much, Stine!

This host was very accommodating and allowed us to check in early. There was friendly and responsive communication. The apartment was easy to find and was spotlessly clean and close to the sailing centre which the reason for our visit. There was a nice bakery, a few restaurants and a supermarket close by. The walk into town was a reasonable walk but there is a bus stop close by, that takes you straight in. The apartment itself is very cosy and perfect for 2 people. We could easily cook meals and wash clothes. It had everything we needed and we felt very safe and secure. The balconies were lovely and the view is really nice. The neighborhood is very modern and the architecture is fabulous. We had a great 2 week stay here! Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at Thomas's house! Everything is exactly as shown in the pictures! The house is clean and very well maintained. A magnificent oasis of peace with a fantastic view of the sea, which is wonderfully relaxing even in bad weather. The walkers who walk by in front of the house do not bother, but there were not so many. You urgently need a car as it is a bit remote. Absolutely recommended, for anyone who likes peace and quiet! Even our teenagers felt comfortable and enjoyed the tranquility! Internet is also available. It is wonderful to enjoy your coffee on the large terrace in the morning or a glass of wine and the sunset in the evening! Thank you, we'll be happy to come back!

Sabine was a great host. We had an amazing stay in this super beautiful home. Our kids really enjoyed the playground both around the corner and in Juelsminde! We would love to come again!

Our spontaneous holiday in Denmark was a single dream! We are incredibly glad to have booked Kasper and Caroline's house. The house is spacious, was now nice and warm in March and we were very lucky with the weather. Everything is available and it was very clean. We didn't miss anything, only the fireplace was a little hard to use, we then left it. The location is mega. Beautifully located, very, very quiet and private. The view has delighted us every day anew, so much nature and views of the sea and the islands. In a few minutes (by car) you can reach a great beach with swimming opportunities and jetty. There are also many beaches and nature in the area that invite you to stay outside. A nice route leads to the interesting city of Aarhus in less than 30 minutes. We did a lot of excursions and were then happy to return to our "home" again. We will be back Communication with Kasper was easy, thank you!

Had a great weekend getaway at Bo’s place - the place is cozy and we managed very well as four adults between the two sleeping areas. The walk down to the beach is easy (if a little steep at times) and the surrounding area is incredible quiet and peaceful. The house gets good sun (at least in May!) and the outdoor hot tub is a fun addition for cooler evenings. Can really recommend the cottage for a relaxing device free getaway from the city.

We stayed in Susanne's wonderful beach house for 4 nights. The view was unique and beautiful.. We didn't miss anything. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful time...see you next time.

We had a perfect stay in Martins beautiful home. The communication was very nice, straight-forward and transparent. The arrival and departure process were both super easy. The house itself is a treasure. Top equipped, super cozy and perfect for a family with 2 small kids. We can highly recommend staying here.

Nice house within walking distance of the city and the harbour. We also enjoyed the lovely garden. Perfect fit for four friends and a couple of babies. Jane was flexible and easy to communicate with. Would recommend and will gladly come back another time :-)

"As it would be at home in France", Peder and Kirsten are simply beautiful people: kind, respectful, cautious about the happiness of their hosts. Very touching little touches to please. As for the place... (4 days) it is a small paradise by the lake, an extraordinary view with a fantastic sunset and possibility of breakfast with swans, numerous and diverse birds in a refreshing peace. The place has everything you need, very comfortable beds with a magical lake view. Multiple hikes or walks are possible. Summer activities for everyone. We highly recommend coming to take a magical break in this caring home. The value for money is great. We wish Kristen and Peder a nice continuation.

Great place to stay – highly recommended! I had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described – clean, cozy and equipped with everything you might need. I especially liked the comfortable bed, the quiet location and the lovingly furnished living area. Communication with the host was straightforward and very friendly. Check in and out went smoothly. I'd come back anytime – very clear recommendation!

This was a really well- equipped flat and was clearly the owner’s homely home not just a rental: there were lots of personal photos, books, binoculars etc. The temperature was always just right. It was amazing to stay in one of the most-coveted waterfront positions in such an iconic architectural complex. The view of the harbour from the flat was mesmerising-so much was happening including huge container ships being piloted in, herons hunting in the rocks, seals bobbing by …. Special mention must go to the sparrows who regularly checked in on the balcony! Aarhus is a very intriguing city with lots to explore, we wished we had a longer stay than just 3 nights.

Mette has a fantastic place. Super nice and clean - nice interior and good beds. The spa was beautiful and the terrace was perfect! A wonderful place to spend one or more nights. I'll definitely be back! Mette responded quickly to messages and we felt completely safe all the way through The ☀️ view was perfect, right down to a lovely beach!
