Family-friendly holiday rentals in Vejle Fjord

Nice and cosy summerhouse. Ideal for our trip to Legoland / Lego House.

We have enjoyed Easter in Jan's lovely cottage with a fantastic location in Ballen. The house is 2 minutes from Ballen harbour, so it was super easy to get to Ballen's cozy and good eateries. There is both morning and evening sun on the large terrace, which we also enjoyed. The house is nice, bright, clean and in great condition. The beds are really good. This is not the last time we rent Jan's cottage.

What a beautiful stay on this renovated farm and stable from the early 1900’s. Very peaceful and serine with breathtaking sunsets. The whole family enjoyed the hammock swing indoors as well as the cats and duck on the property. Michael was an extremely gracious host and made us feel like family right from the start. We even got a private tour on his Morgan around the neighborhood.

We had a really good stay at Lene's. Beautiful home with plenty of space for all of us: we were 2 adults and 4 children aged 1, 5, 8 and 13. We were particularly happy to be able to go down to the beach and swim in a few minutes. For the hot tub and sauna, which worked perfectly (Lene had made good and precise instructions for use). Everything you need in the kitchen. Nice and clean everywhere. Enclosed garden where children can play safely and well. Very welcoming and responsive host, who among other things gave tips to visit the fish house. We'd love to come back another time.

The apartment is located in an extremely quiet area, ideal for relaxing. The whirlpool was a highlight, perfect for switching off. Walks in the beautiful surroundings are also very worthwhile. The apartment itself is superbly equipped, clean and very cozy, especially the home cinema delighted us. The host was also super nice and helpful. A clear recommendation!

Using the hot tube while it's cold and rainy with fireworks during new years eve is probably the best way to end the year. Our Hosts were super friendly and kind, the cottage is very cozy and we loved and enjoyed the cd music collection from the 80s to the 2000s on a solid soundsystem. The neighborhood is peaceful and friendly, the beach is very nice, but if you are into restaurants and siteseeing you have to go to the nearby cities of Fredericia, Vejle or Kolding, which requires to drive by car. But walking through the neighborhood has its very own charm. We will for sure come again.

We loved staying here. The view, location were wonderful. Also the accommodation itself was lovely and well equipped. However, we would not describe them as luxurious, but rather slightly above average. If we had to complain a bit, it was (only) ok clean on arrival. Single dishes were dirty in the closet, for example, several cups and glasses had cracks and, for example, the bathtub was not clean. In the sauna, the number of sauna bins could be increased. We still felt very comfortable and definitely recommend the place!

Really cozy cottage surrounded by beautiful nature. Short driving distance to Ebeltoft and good hiking opportunities in the area. Can only be recommended😊

We loved our stay at Adam’s place. We had everything we needed. The location was amazing and Adam was a very responsive host.

Very nice and tastefully furnished holiday home. No unnecessary things and super cozy. The winter garden is particularly beautiful and there are also opportunities to sit outside. The water is a short walk away and offers a jetty with stairs into the water and a small beach. It is wonderfully quiet there. Fåborg and Odense and also various islands are nearby for excursions. Very dear and easily accessible hosts. We recommend the accommodation without reservation.

We felt very comfortable with Marianne and Tom. A fantastic location and it was very quiet and there were many hiking trails. The apartment was lovingly furnished and everything very clean. We will be happy to come back.

Nice cottage located in quiet surroundings close to playground, beach and forest. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need for a trip to a cottage. Anna and her husband were welcoming, helpful and good service. Thank you for letting us use your holiday home ✨

Lissie and Jan are great hosts. Very friendly, helpful, open minded and lovely people. We really appreciated our stay in their cottage and can highly recommend it!

Reasons that Kongsvang must rank among the top properties in Denmark: 1. Remote island location. 2. You have to take a boat to get there. 3. Plenty of space. 4. Bikes and lawn games. 5. Live action rabbit 🐇 show every morning, for free. 6. Most stars you will ever see on a clear night (unless you go the high Andes of Chile). 7. Great Danish food. 8. Did I mention location? 9. Shetland ponies roaming free on the beach. Just one caveat, if you're taller than 1,75 m, mind your head. This is a vintage building with low ceilings. Hope to be back soon!

The cottage is located beautifully at the northern tip of Fyn and it's very close to wonderful hiking spots and places to swim or fish. The place itself is incredibly cosy and simple while Erik is a welcoming host.

Nice place to stay that suited our small group perfectly! Walking distance to the city center and very peaceful surroundings. Very nice and helpful host who went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. We had some very nice days and would love to come back to this home another time!

Had a great time in the AirBnB. Nice home with large space outside and inside, walking distance to shop and bakery and nice private outdoor area. Sophie was very nice and helpful with questions we had. Recommend this place!

We had a great week with our friends (10 adults and 11 kids)! The amenities corresponded to the photos. Particularly practical is the layout of the house: upstairs are the large living & dining area as well as the kitchen anyway. In the lower area is the pool and activity room. So we could play table tennis etc. downstairs if the kids were already asleep upstairs. The view of the horse paddock and the sea is super nice. We would have preferred to take the view home with us. The house was clean upon our arrival except for a few small things. We have clarified these directly with DanCenter. The communication was very friendly and answers came quickly at all times. The beautiful village of Ebeltoft can be reached in 5 minutes by car or about 20-30 minutes walk to the supermarket/place. Conclusion: we would definitely book the house again.

Camilla and Finn were very welcoming and easy to get in touch with. They were very helpful for late check-in. Super nice house in a quiet area, and nice with outdoor spa. Highly recommend: -)

really nice summerhouse, well decorated and nice that you can see Gudenåen by just walking a few meters away from the house. very fun with mini golf and badminton. highly recommended for 2-3 couples as well as children.

We enjoyed it very much. There is enough space in the house and everything is exactly as described in the advertisement. Simon helped us find a good mooring for our boat, which was very kind. Clear recommendation!

Beautiful holiday home well equipped and spacious enough for our family of six adults and two children. The communal pool and kindergarten is really nice. The place is very quiet and green. The only downside is the pillows that are very worn, not very comfortable and yellowed.

Our stay was perfect. Spacious and comfortable house. Very well equipped kitchen. The beach is a 5-minute walk away. Beautiful hikes to do.
