If you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay in the midst of idyllic Skärgarden, with warm and helpful hosts and time for yourself and your family, this is the perfect spot. We stayed at this lovely accommodation for a week with our two children (aged 2 and 6). We loved the surroundings, the nature, the many excursion options, the proximity to the beach, and the easy bus connection from Stockholm. The holiday apartment is equipped with everything you need and includes many thoughtful details. Our week here was just what we needed to unwind and relax after a few bustling days in Stockholm. We loved the house and location - and Daniel was an amazing host (responsive to questions and super nice!)! Sitting right on the water with amazing views and a large, well furnished deck, we enjoyed the beautiful spot (as did our dog)! The sauna was amazing, with a quick/private run down to the water for a refreshing plunge. and the house was well designed and set up with everything you need for a relaxing and chill vacation!

We had a wonderful stay here. Helen’s home is beautiful, clean and very well equipped. Our kids loved the heated pool. The location was perfect for exploring both Stockholm and the archipelago. Although we did have a car, we were able to make use of the nearby ferry stops to visit the city and islands. The nearby lake is stunning and well worth a visit. Helen was a great host and was very responsive. Highly recommend.

Our time at this place was just fantastic! From the first moment, we felt incredibly comfortable. The cleanliness and coziness of the house were outstanding, and the lovingly designed details of the furnishings inspired us again and again. Each room was furnished with so much taste and a sense of something special that it resulted in a harmonious and inviting overall picture – almost like a home away from home. The sauna and fireplace in particular perfectly rounded off our stay and provided unforgettable moments of well-being. An absolute highlight was the snowfall on New Year's Eve, which turned the already picturesque surroundings into a true winter wonderland. This combination of fantastic scenery and exceptional accommodation has made our Sweden vacation just as we had dreamed of it. We would have liked to have stayed longer! What a gem in the Stockholm archipelago?! My friend and I stayed at Mikael and Anna-Viktoria’s cottage for a few days, and absolutely loved it!! The cottage is quite close to Stockholm, we took a 25 min taxi from Slussen, but you could easily get there with great bus connections. The living area is stunning, with beautiful views of the lake, natural light through the day, tasteful decor, and many spots to lounge both indoors and outdoors. We spent our days chilling, bbqing, cooking, walking … the hot tub with views of the lake was a definite highlight! Mikael and Anna-Viktoria are kind and responsive hosts. We would love to be back!

You will need to go there to believe how truly beautiful this place is. We are a family of five and spent a wonderful week on Viggsö Island. We have never had a better host than Harry, extremely friendly, helpful, and always available! We would love to come back one time.

A really nice, peaceful and pleasantly private place in a great environment. Countless excursion destinations are just a short drive away, and the small swimming lake within walking distance is an insider tip for warm summer evenings. We were particularly pleased by the regular visit of a doe on the property. The house offers everything you need inside and out, has a lot of charm and is obviously used a lot. As announced by the hostess, the water had a slightly strange smell and taste, which is why we finally bought the drinking water. We would especially recommend this house to adventurous families with a lot of urge to move and the willingness to make do with a single bathroom/toilet.

This apartment is brilliantly located with ease to local cafes, public transport, metro station and importantly walking distance to the main city areas. We loved our visit to Stockholm and would recommend this apartment to any traveller wanting to experience and stay locally in an authentic Swedish apartment.

It was a great stay!

Best stay ever!!! It was incredibly beautiful, so I spontaneously extended it another week. The house is so cute, cozy, perfectly equipped and exceptionally clean! Upon arrival, Robert and Diana showed me the surroundings. The two are so warm and always available on site and by message and incredibly helpful. They give great tips for things to do, restaurants, etc. The lake is really right outside the door, very clean and great for swimming. I could borrow the SUP at any time. The sea is also just 2 minutes away. I will never forget the days there and left with a heavy heart. I've rarely had such a perfect place to stay! THANK YOU!

A clean and very nice apartment. Good beds. Bedroom facing the quiet backyard. Well insulated against traffic on the living room side. The subway station is a one-minute walk from the apartment with good connections around Stockholm. Perfect place for you to experience the city. Located just off a busy road, but you don't hear it in the apartment. And you don't intend to sit there anyway when you have one of Europe's finest cities to experience. I have been to Stockholm 30-40 times and would love to return to this apartment.

Axel was a great host! He communicated super well and was extremely responsible. Even more, the Airbnb was incredible and super comfortable. The location was convenient and easy to get around. Also, the kitchen was well stocked and made cooking meals easy. Overall would definitely recommend the Airbnb and Axel as a host while in Stockholm!

Absolutely gorgeous and spacious apartment that was perfect for my family. It was well decorated, and had everything we needed. Amazing views as well, and the small garden in the building was lovely. The location was close to several museums, parks, and public transportation. Easy check in, and Mathias was quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice apartment close to Stockholm. Easily accessible from public transport. You can do beautiful hikes around the Forest and around the lakes. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Annika and Craig are amazing hosts!! Definitely will rebook in the future. Their guidebook is very helpful when looking for things to do. The location is near anything and everything with a short train ride to Stockholm. I was welcomed with fikabröd and groceries to get me by upon arrival. No worries of rushing to the store for anything. This has been the coziest AirBnb I have stayed in. I felt at home from day one! I recommend for everyone to stay here. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay, tack så mycket!!

We immediately felt at home at Angelica's. We are far from the impersonal AirBNB: and for good reason, Angelica rents her own apartment when she is away. The warm atmosphere with the many plants, the top equipment and the location close to the metro and 2 steps from the large parks (ideal for the Stockholm Ecotrail) made us feel comfortable: a beautiful experience in a cozy place!

Hanna & Anita's place was the perfect, cozy stay for our one week stay in Stockholm. They thought of everything to make the place feel like home, from the extra towels to coffee and tea; towels to sit on in the sauna and a clothes line inside the sauna. Anita went above and beyond during our stay. One example: After a long day of travel, we couldn't wait to relax. When we arrived to the place, it was warm and nicely lit. The sauna quickly warmed us up. If you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable place that is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still close by, we recommend Anita and Hanna's place. The apartment is located on the upper floor of the exposed historic building. Beautiful balcony with a view of nature. The city centre is very easy to reach by bus - the nearest stop is 150m away, from there it is six stops to the centre. Vera is a good host and we would book with her again at any time.

We enjoyed our stay at Anna’s apartment during our trip to Stockholm. The shower is nice and powerful and the apartment is peaceful.
