Sissel's house is simply magical for lovers of nature, peace and ornithology. It is very well equipped, nothing is missing and was impeccably clean.  The view from the living room and kitchen is spectacular. The two super comfortable armchairs, which are perfect for observing the beautiful nature for hours, won us over. Sissel is a just perfect host, responsive, with an extraordinary sense of hospitality and really very accommodating. Finally, the richness of the birds we were able to admire in the region added a magical touch to our stay. We can't wait to come back for longer to enjoy this exceptional place even more!

This house is an ideal accomodation for a holiday in the Varanger. The house and kitchen are very well equiped. Each person has a separate bedroom: beds are made and towels provided. The house is centrally located in the center of the Varanger from which you can travel to all the different places of interest. Our host Enid was very helpful and responded quickly to any question asked. There is a supermarket located at 1,5 km from the house which is very convenient because there are few shops in the region. We were a company of 5 bird watchers.: we spotted 116 different birds species during a week stay, and also a whale, moose, fox and arctic fox. It was a great and unforgettable expercience, we will probably revisit the region within some years.

We really enjoyed the cottage at Polmak, in the beginning of May it was still beautiful and wintery, and the place was very conveniently located, peaceful, the kitchen was very well equipped and we had great sleep in the soft beds. Also we really loved the guest book! The place was a great base to explore Norwegian nature from.
