Nice hiking opportunities along the road, in forests and fields or mountain peaks; both Klampen (720 m above sea level), Husfjellet (465 m above sea level), and Vågafjellet (315 m above sea level)

Enjoy the view from "Ørnedomen" a circular cabin of 9 sqm with 120 cm bed that is hoisted up under the roof during the day. Access to dining area and cooking facilities in the jetty, shower/toilet in separate module. Rental of boat, kayaks, SUP and a floating sauna. Price incl. bed linen and towels. Free ferry from Søvik ferry rental (16 km from Sandnessjøen) to Herøy. The holiday home is perfect for families with children or families who want to experience the Helgeland coast. The house is located right by the sea and has sun from morning to evening with spectacular sunsets.

A perfect place for anyone who loves exploring the Norwegian nature, or simply wants to look at it while lounging on the couch. The river that runs right beside the cabin is perfect for canoeing. And you can regularly see birds, moose, and other wildlife by the river. There are also good hiking areas, ski tracks, and snowmobile trails. The cabin is located in Herringen, 18km outside the city centre. We have all basic facilities, WiFi, TV, toilet, heated floors, dishwasher, & washing machine.

Daily connection with the mainland by ferry or local boat to/from Ørnes and express boat to/from Bodø/Sandnessjøen. You may observe the amazing Northern Light from September.
