The stay was great. This is the 2nd year in a row that we’ve stayed when in Waterloo. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect location when you need to be close to downtown/campus town. We parked the car on day 1 and didn't move it til day 3 when we checked out. Easy walk to lots of restaurants and fun bars. Lots of space for 4 people. Bed was comfy, water pressure in shower was great. Traveler Tip:Pack shower supplies including soap. We get spoiled at some places and get lazy with packing all supplies. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

We arrived late and were relieved to see Denise’s place—it is very clean and comfortable. It was also easy to find. Denise is very responsive and was always available before and during our stay. Grinnell is a great spot with a real downtown and lovely college. Denise’s spot is in walking distance to both. The three of us were very comfortable during our stay. The air mattress, by the way, is deluxe. And, the coffee supplies were generous.

We were looking for a place close to my daughter to spend the holidays with. This was the best place. It was within a few minutes of her house. The house was just like the pictures. You couldn’t ask for a cleaner house. The master bedroom is so spacious and the king bed is so comfortable. I did a lot of baking in the kitchen. A little tight but I was able to do my normal holiday baking. The windows let in so much light. I can’t think of anything that we needed. It was perfect for us and our dogs. We brought a small tree and I felt right at home!

Me and the rest of the groomsmen I was traveling with needed a place to crash between events for a wedding. Was super clean and nice, comfiest couch I’ve ever slept on felt like a brand new man afterwards. The queen bed was great the smaller beds weren’t bad (all of us are over 6 feet tall it wasn’t the beds’ fault) the ACs kept up wonderfully with the mid 80s weather and plenty of fans to stay cool as well. If I ever find myself needing a place to stay in the area again I will be booking here!

Gemma's place was absolutely darling! Very clean, comfortable and in an ideal location for a visit to Mt. Vernon/ Cornell College. Had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend stay. Gemma is a kind, responsive host and clearly cares about attention to detail and her guests' experience. Would absolutely recommend...10/10😉

I stayed at this location multiple times in Spring 2025. The apartment was consistently very comfortable and clean. The host was very helpful and responsive.

I had a really wonderful time at Heidi and Jordan's property. I was there for a three-week writer's workshop, so I needed a quiet, peaceful place within walking distance from the University of Iowa and the downtown area. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and well-designed. I was even taking notes for how I could renovate my own place back home, and the hosts were always very responsive and helpful. What I liked best about this apartment is that they have managed to strike the perfect balance between homey and professional--it was like staying with a close friend, but that friend also has a degree in hospitality management haha. In other words, everything I could have possibly needed as a guest was already available, such as coffee, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and a detailed instructions manual. At the same time, there were a lot of lovely home touches, such as gentle Aveeno soaps, extra blankets, and cheerful decor. I highly recommend this apartment! Thank you, Heidi and Jordan!

This place was great. Perfect for getting creative when you are staying in Iowa City. The space was much bigger than expected. Hosts friendly and responsive. Cool things to do in the building.

We couldn’t wait to write our review of Ryan’s wonderful condo. From the initial reservation to the final check out Ryan’s communication has been as good as we have ever had for an Airbnb. we picked this spot for its proximity to the University of Iowa campus as we were there for a graduation. We quickly noticed its incredible closeness to Kinnick Stadium, and The University of Iowa hospitals. I can see where it would be popular on game weekends. The condo had all of the amenities you could ask for. It was very clean and we felt right at home from the moment we walked in. If I could do more than five stars I would. We looked at a number of different locations to stay and are so glad we landed on this one. You should too you won’t be disappointed.

This is the second time my sister and I stayed at Kim's place. Each time it was for special family situations, and the apartment was absolutely perfect. Kim was so helpful, understanding, and flexible. Wonderful place and wonderful host.

This place was a gem and a blast from the past. It's 60's theme is unique and fun. The apt is above a garage and was very peaceful and quiet. Sheryl's instructions were easy for finding and getting in and check it was even easier. The place is very clean and organized. Cute neighborhood and just a few block walk to their historic downtown. Only issue is that we didn't stay long enough. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place! Super cool and comfortable. Denice was a great host. She helped us out so much. We left some items behind, one very sentimental, and she got them back to us right before we left town.

Perfect spot when visiting Cedar Rapids! Located a block from Newbo, there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby!

We had several family members in town for a reunion and discovered we didn’t have room for everyone. I made a last minute request for a stay for my daughter which Lindsay quickly accommodated. The place was comfortable and close to the rest of the family. We were able to store extra food in the good sized frig. The location is great. We would put family members here again.

Mark was very responsive and approachable. Had an issue when we checked on with low batteries in the fire alarms and he came onsite within 10 minutes and had it addressed and fixed! Bed were clean and comfy and the A/C was clutch for the hot weekend we had.

Has everything we needed without having to pay for things we did not.
