So enjoyed our weekend away! It was peaceful and we had beautiful weather as well - which was surprising for June. Walking distance to and from the beach. Enjoyed the fire pit area and chats around the fire and the pool. Good kitchen facilities and sleeping accommodation. Everything was clean. The neighborhood also felt safe. Claudette is also a very good host - very helpful and responsive with queries pre-check-in and throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Our second time here at this wonderful house on the edge of the lagoon was truly spectacular! The house has absolutely everything you could need including table tennis, tennis racquets, bicycles and board games. The proximity to the water is very special with our boat moored at the beach right in front of the house. Thank you so much Marlize!

Lovely relaxing spot, very peaceful. House was comfortable and had everything we needed. Has no TV which was great. Games room with table tennis was fun for the kids! Great space, we would love to come back again. Good communication

Good tip to spend some time in the Cliff Walk and best to go there in the early morning, peaceful place.

I am writing this review while we are still at the property. We have stayed in many AirBnB's, but never have we encountered a place as fascinating as Kloof House. Nestled into the trees, at the bottom of the mountains, is this haven of peace. Due to the way it is built we feel one with nature. The interior is thoughtfully dominated by wood and endless floor to ceiling glass, it is warm and intriguing. We constantly stop to gaze at the forest. It almost feels a bit like being part of Jurassic Park, just without the dinosaurs. Inside it is pure luxury, no expenses have been spared, top notch appliances and so generously stocked, incredibly beautiful and stylish furniture, insanely comfortable beds. The nature pool, large hot tub and braai area are a real treat. All of this coupled with the friendliness and immediate responsiveness of the hosts makes this getaway one we will never forget. Storkerden is an absolutely fantastic beach house with so much to offer. Our family had such an awesome restful time here. Every room has a beach view. It was bliss. I can highly recommend it!

Lynda and Kevin’s cottage is very peaceful with a beautiful view. It’s a short walk to the beach and the cottage has everything one could need for a comfortable stay. This was my second stay at the cottage, and it has been very well maintained and is very clean.

We had such a relaxing stay, exactly what we needed. The space was private, peaceful, and well set up for a comfortable break. Our host was responsive and made everything easy. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

We had a great stay in this spacious home - perfect for chilled family time. The house is well equipped and we really enjoyed the pizza oven and hot tub. The local host was very helpful and responsive

Spacious and comfortable beach house perfect for large families. The four bathrooms (two upstairs and two downstairs) were a bonus. We were 8 adults and 3 children (10-12years) and there never was any queueing! Perfect views from two of the three upstairs bedrooms, as well as the open plan kitchen/dining room and living room. Plenty of warm blankets provided for the chilly evenings and cold nights in winter. The large downstairs playroom with two bunkbeds on one end, pool/table tennis table in the middle, and small sitting area on the other end, worked really well for the three boys and serves as the fifth bedroom. The fourth bedroom is accessed from this playroom and has an ensuite bathroom. Check-in was super easy and Sarel next door was friendly and helpful. The house provided everything we needed and is great value for the price. We can definitely recommend Jonathan's place!

Lovely and well kept, Heleen was super as a host, the location was amazing with clever architecture to hide from the wind and still enjoy the clear nights and days.

What a beautiful home for 2 weeks for us! Great home for our family, it’s right on the beach (well a 1 minute walk) The views are spectacular and house is huge. There are two living rooms which is perfect for having kids with you. If you do have kids there aren’t any amenities- so bring everything you need. Also prepare to do a tidy up of all the little trinkets if you have toddlers. We traveled with our 1 and 3 yr old so they are crazy touchers. Also note there are no fans so it can be hot in summer- but open the windows for a breeze and it’s fine. They kindly provided one fan for us during our stay at it was peak summer and the back room was too warm for our 1yr old for her nap. Beds were comfy and plenty of pillows and throws to keep u warm on chilly mornings and evenings. Hosts were great! Oh the braais wow For us it was the best choice and highly recommend!!!

Such a fabulous weekend! The house is well positioned, light, airy and really well equipped with everything you need. Towels, linen, soaps and extra welcome gifts of wine fruit and milk didn’t go unnoticed. Thanks for a truly super stay and allowing our doggies to stay too. They loved the walks and beach and hanging out on stoep! Thank you Joseph and Vanessa . 🙏😁

Truly a gem of a place! Clean, comfortable and cosy with a lovely large enclosed garden for the dogs. We loved listening to the frogs at night and the bountiful of beautiful birds in the day. Close enough to the main road with lots of restaurants and to the wandelpad for lovely long sunrise and sunset walks with the dogs. Allison as a host was friendly and accommodating. We loved Allison’s place and will always try to come back in the future. Thank you Allison.

We had an incredible weekend away with five couples, and this place was perfect for our group. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortably fit all of us with room to relax and enjoy. The view was absolutely beautiful, and the peaceful surroundings made it feel like a true escape. We really appreciated how quiet and serene everything was—it gave us the perfect chance to unwind and enjoy each other's company. Honestly, we all wished we could have stayed a day or two longer! We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for a relaxing and memorable group getaway.
