We had a wonderful stay at Villa Despina! The location is fantastically quiet, perfect for relaxing, and at the same time a good base for exploring the south of Crete. The villa itself is very clean, lovingly furnished and well equipped – from the kitchen to the beautiful outdoor area with pool, everything was well maintained. We particularly liked the warm hospitality and the little touches when we arrived. We felt right at home! A real highlight: the fantastic view of the surrounding nature and the sunsets in the evening. We will be happy to come back and can recommend Villa Despina to anyone looking for peace, comfort and Cretan warmth. Thank you for everything!

The location of villa Adriana is perfect for people who love the quiet country side. No neighbours, but some goats , sheep and a cat who can see you walking in pyjamas in the garden in the morning. Very comfy and really huge beds! The kitchen has all the utensils you need to cook. There could be more light above the (electric) stove. The one from the extractor hood didn’t work. Compared with the beautiful bathroom and bedroom downstairs the kitchen is rather outdated. It was fine to cook nevertheless , especially with the delicious olive oil Alexandros gave us! Unfortunately it was not warm enough -end April, start of May- to swim in the pool, but the view of the pool with the garden full of flowers and olive trees and, on the background, the mountains still covered with a bit of snow was stunning anyway! I loved the road to the house: first drive through the village with narrow streets and then through the olive yards. Last but not least: the host Alexandros is very kind as well!

Absoutely Amazing Experience! The villa is amazing! Beautiful space which immediately makes you feel like home. Everything about our stay there was beyond our imagination. Simplicity combined with luxurious hospitality. The apartment had everything we needed and even more. The beds were to comfortable, couldn’t get out of it😊 Absolutely recommended! Loved it! We had a wonderful two weeks at this rental. Sthatis and Alexandra were fantastic hosts, very responsive and accommodating. The house is exactly like the photos (minus the hanging chairs- but they were not missed). It is ade up of two separate apartments each with 2 bedrooms. It is well equipped and gets the most beautiful sunsets, perfect for an evening barbeque . If you wish to explore the island you will definitely need a car but it is wonderfully located between many of the islands attractions and accessible from both airports. The lovely maid (whose name I cannot remember- sorry!) attended twice. We had some unusual weather while we were there, including a sandstorm which coated the entire area in dust, but Stathis and Alexandra had organised the following day to have the outdoor areas cleaned and the pool water serviced so that we could use the facilities, which we were very impressed by. Overall it was a fantastic choice and we would recommend it to anybody considering staying

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing house in Crete! The home itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and set in a peaceful and scenic environment. The large garden was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the quiet surroundings. The location is ideal, Kalyves and Chania were both fantastic to explore, with stunning beaches, charming streets, and great local food. Our host was incredibly responsive and kind, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We felt truly welcome. Highly recommended, we would love to come back!

I recently stayed at this beautiful villa in Greece, and it exceeded all my expectations! We LOVED our stay at Butterfly, and felt sad when we left! We came to Crete for a week for a birthday celebration, and wanted to be a little out of the tourist areas. Our check in was seamless, and Theo from Muses travel was always contactable to help us out with anything. The WiFi wasn’t working properly when we got there, and everyone went out of their way to get it fixed for us. The village of Armeni was beautiful and had an excellent mini market (shoutout to Niko), and a couple of great restaurants. Rethymno is a beautiful city which is just 10 minutes away. There were four of us so it was reasonably priced to hire a driver for our day trips, so we saw Knossos and Heraklion, and then also took a day trip to Spili, Agia Galini and Matala. If we ever get back to Crete would LOVE to return to Butterfly.🦋

Sparkling, high-quality accommodation with panoramic views. The way to the accommodation is only for this house. Comprehensive welcome package: wine, fruit, vegetables, water, eggs, oil, vinegar, etc. Kitchen equipment is plentiful, including tabs for dishwashers, etc. There are blinds everywhere for darkening. Really nice accommodation for breakfast and wine on the terrace. Neighbourhood consists of similar houses. The bathroom is a little small for 4 people and the shower hanger does not work. We felt very comfortable. Very quiet and great view of mountains and bay. Thank you for the generous welcome gifts. There would also be enough dishes for 4 people.. nothing meticulously counted.

This was the best AirBnb I've ever stayed at, and it really made our trip to Crete. Maria was an A+ host. She was extremely responsive and helpful and pointed us to all of the best beaches and restaurants. The house is in immaculate condition, very clean, and very spacious, and is only 10 minutes from downtown Chania. Thank you for everything, Maria!

Stayed two weeks in Lemon Tree House, partly working remotely, and loved it. Anthoula is a wonderful host, the house is in a perfect location: quiet, a couple of minutes from the seafront and restaurants with pretty, flower-filled front and back gardens. Kitchen is well-equipped, friendly welcome pack and twice weekly change of linen and towels. It is very good value for money - I can't wait to go back next year! The village has a great beach and plenty of choice of bars and tavernas and an easy bus ride into Chania if you don't have a car.

This place is fantastic. Two outdoor seating areas both with breathtaking views facing west so you can watch the sunset. We were there in December during Christmas and they had a nice wood burning stove to help warm the house in addition to an electric heater. There is nothing like the ambiance of a wood burning stove . They provided all of the firewood. They also had a fully stocked kitchen . It was an easy walk to town with all the restaurants. Almost all of which were closed when we went. The beaches are a walkable distance. One of the highlights was the Aradena gorge, a 30 minute drive. The trailhead is in a beautiful ancient town. The hike is technically challenging due to loose rocks. Honestly, one of my favorite things was the area. Off season, it is incredibly quiet and peaceful. I loved seeing all the goats and sheep on the hillsides. One thing to note is the bedroom is on the third floor and the bathroom is on the first floor. This was not an issue for us.

Clean, charming and rustic accommodations that are conveniently located close to Imbros Gorge and other local hikes. There were cooking supplies (pots, pans, utensils, coffee maker etc…) available for use. The views from the accommodations were beautiful with your own roof top views. The village was very quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Dimi’s place offered the best base for our holiday which was to relax, admire the sea and the mountains and local villages. Great location to reach both directions Chania and Rethymno, south coast. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings. We loved each day of our stay!

A wonderful place to stay in Vamos! Beautiful neoclassical house, spacious living accommodation, perfect location and just right for a family of four on holiday. The bathroom is quite small, but has excellent water pressure, not much of kitchen facilities for cooking, but plenty of cafes and tavernas nearby. Grigoris was the perfect host, helpful, friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend and thank you so much!

We stayed for one week and had a really great time. The house is beautiful and very spacious. The host was always easy to reach and we got many recommendations. We would really recommend this beautiful house, we want to come again next year!

Everything was as described, the photographs are spot on. Nikos was a great host, very proactive and quick to help in fact we felt right at home. We had two of our grown up Grandchildren with us and they thoroughly enjoyed the villa too!

We stayed for six days at Sotiria's house and had a great stay. The house is located on the outskirts of the small village of Plaka, with easy access to the sea in Almerida. The house has very nice outdoor facilities, where you have good opportunities to find sun/shade and shelter. Sotiria is a very attentive and friendly host. We'd love to come again!
