Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Vallon-Pont-d'Arc

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

We just spent 15 days and the good weather was at the rendezvous, for those looking for calm and tranquility is the ideal place! Christine and Philippe are welcoming, warm, available and concerned for the well-being of their guests. They were good tips for sites to visit, both in the Gard and in the Ardèche which is barely 10 km away Many places to visit including the Pont du Gard, the Pont d 'Arc and the Ardèche gorges by canoe, the Aven Orgnac cave, the Sautadet waterfalls, the Nîmes bullring....) The house is well equipped and local shops are in Barjac 3km away We had a great time!

Kevin et Laetitia’s place is as close to “heaven on earth” as I’ve encountered in a long time! I am looking forward to trying to come back for a longer stay ASAP, it was absolutely incredible and as hosts, they were wonderful to work with. The interior is accommodating and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details and the exterior is a peaceful, divine oasis of comfort and pleasure. The surrounding areas are easy to access and everything was 10/10 wonderful! Merci beaucoup, Kevin & Laetitia!

Upon our arrival, Andréa welcomed us very warmly with a smile. We discovered a beautiful apartment, very clean, tastefully decorated, very well equipped with lots of little touches…. We had a great stay, with an impeccable jacuzzi, very well maintained. Everything was perfect, we recommend this very cozy apartment.

Laurent's accommodation is very well arranged, in an exceptional setting. He is very friendly, and chatting with him was a pleasure. He recommended some very nice hikes. I will be back with pleasure.

This is the third time we have come to the Mas de Blacholles and it is always a pleasure, charming little farmhouse in a small natural setting. Anne-Marie always responds quickly with a lot of kindness. We'll be happy to go back!

Relaxing weekend with family, our two children and our dog, we had a wonderful time. Kristin is a great host, flexible, smiling and with good advice. The place was very peaceful, quiet. The children loved the ping pong table and enjoyed meeting the donkeys. We went on two beautiful hikes, it was very nice to discover the Ardèche in this way. Very clean and extremely well-equipped house. The view is just beautiful. I recommend +++

Great stay at Aeric and Caroline's! Incredible farmhouse in a typical Ardeche setting. Eric and his son were very nice and we would recommend this accommodation without hesitation. We loved it.

The house is beautiful and has all the amenities needed. The decor is great. Clean, beautiful and functional. We enjoyed our stay and can only recommend you to put your bags there! We had a pleasant stay in this villa in Ardèche! Perfect for 6 people, it is ideally located, making it easy to explore the region and its beautiful landscapes. The house is very well equipped: a full kitchen, comfortable beds, and spacious and bright common areas. We particularly enjoyed the terrace, ideal for our outdoor meals, and the pool that allowed us to cool off after our days of excursions as well as the petanque court which is a plus! We recommend this villa 100%!

The place is truly magical! There is a special energy. The pool is so relaxing that you dont want to leave the chateau. In the morning you will have freshly baked croissants by Alisson! +the fig jam and orange marmolade were so delicious! Alisson and Costas are really the warmest hosts you can imagine. We will come back!

We had a great 2 weeks at Steeve's. I came with my husband and our dog to recharge our batteries and go on beautiful hikes. The house and garden are very well furnished. The pool, jacuzzi, and petanque court were very much appreciated! Steeve was great, very responsive to every message, he even dropped off charcoal so we could have a bbq. We can only recommend it! Thanks to Steeve for his kindness, we'll be back with pleasure!

We had a great stay in a beautiful house, very clean and surrounded by a nice garden. The location is ideal for exploring Labeaume and the dolmens on foot. Hélène, our hostess, was very welcoming, available and pleasant in our exchanges. We felt very welcome and recommend this accommodation with pleasure!

What a great stay we had with Didier and Sylvia!! It started with a warm welcome upon arrival. The accommodation is beyond words, for us a different world that we stepped into...so incredibly beautiful, clean and tidy. It is also special how Didier and Sylvia have interpreted this. You can see, notice and feel that there is love and passion in everything! Sylvia was able to recommend a number of gems for us to visit. The area is also incredibly beautiful, quiet. There are plenty of towns to visit in the area and the C4 restaurant is definitely recommended if you want to eat out. Here you can eat delicious pizzas at an affordable price.

What a beautiful home and location. The house is in a cluster of stone homes in this spectacular hill town. Cobblestone paths, beautiful gardens and ancient architecture and history. Pierre was helpful in carting our suitcases through what looks like a Harry Potter village up to our very modern, comfortable house. A unique Provence experience.

Small studio like new and very well-equipped in an enchanting setting, with superb views of the Ardèche. Excellent hosting by Damien, very friendly and available during my stay. Book without hesitation!

Great house for a family vacation! The house has all facilities you need and is located conveniently close to Suze-La-Rousse (small village with some nice shops and restaurant).

Very nice and quiet place to stay in the countryside in a quiet environment with large garden. Apartment with everything you need. Very nice area with many excursion possibilities. Valérie and Patrick were very nice and gave us good recommendations. The dogs Appolon and Nouchka are very kind. We will be happy to come back!

Sylvie and Jean-Luc hosted us very warmly and are very accessible. We had a very nice stay in absolute calm in this beautiful cottage with a magnificent view from the terrace to the valley 🤗🤗 and, took advantage of the walks, walking from the cottage and those offered by this beautiful region... This stay was a real joy, from our welcome by Sylvain to our departure, accompanied by Sylvain's mother; sunny people who make you want to come back! The house centralises everything you need for a peaceful stay: swimming pool, deckchairs, jacuzzi, ping-pong table, petanque, super comfortable bedding and conducive to a good sleep, in short, it is wonderfully good. The house, while being a few minutes from Barjac, is isolated from any noise or other nuisances, we just listen to the little birds that rock our naps. In short, we can't wait to come back next year, but for a longer stay: so many pretty villages and activities nearby! You can book with your eyes closed and without hesitation: you will come back a convert. Thanks again to Sylvain, his mum, and our host Michel for this place designed for the well-being of all.

The location is very nice. Somewhat remote, but by car you can get to the surrounding towns very quickly. The pool is fantastic. You can relax very well. You can walk directly from the house into the forest and the vineyards. That was great for our dog. In the apartment there are no spices, oil, vinegar, detergent, etc. which is not bad at all, but important to know before arrival. Thank God we had everything with us. The apartment is very nicely furnished and air-conditioned. The kitchen is very well equipped. In the village there are various restaurants. We were very pleased and would come back any time.

This place is a hidden gem for anyone looking to spend some time truly in nature.. the sound of birds in the morning and the sunsets are beautiful. A car is required as the place is hidden away but it’s definitely worth the extra mile for the experience. Florian has put together a lot of local recommendations and the morning fresh bread available on some days is a must! All in all we had a great time and recharged our batteries!
