We loved our stay at Mariana and Jonas’s peaceful farm just 15 minutes from the Stockholm airport—perfect for our family of five before our flight. Jonas was a wonderful host, showing us the horses, chickens, and even a runestone! Fresh eggs were a lovely touch. He also recommended a great lakeside restaurant in an old factory. A sunny, memorable end to our trip—highly recommend!

The house is something very special, a place with soul! We enjoyed the time in this place very much and would like to come back. Susanna, as well as her husband, were delightful!

Marie was very friendly and helpful, even offering to bring extra firewood to the grillspot down the road. The accommodation was very clean and cosy, exactly as described in the ad and on the pictures. The extras at the accommodation are also great: the dock and the further surroundings are great.

We stayed in the house for 6 days with my spouse and our child, and we were extremely satisfied with everything. One of the highlights was the stunning sea view — enjoying our morning coffee while looking out at the water was such a peaceful start to the day. The jacuzzi was also a great touch — clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. The house was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. It’s located in a quiet and peaceful area, which made it ideal for spending quality family time. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially families

We stayed at Sara‘s place for a couple of nights and enjoyed our time there a lot. The house (and especially the kitchen) is well-equipped and the surroundings are peaceful and quiet. There is a canoe that can be carried to the lake, the bikes are a bit rusty, the sauna works well and without problems. Thank you Sara for our time here!

Perfect summer house to escape city life! Highly recommended for those seeking a slow, relaxing lifestyle. The hosts, Jack and Maria, are incredibly warm and welcoming. Their small dog adds even more charm. They were generous and helpful—solving issues like extra mattresses, showing us how to use the sauna, offering fresh vegetables from their garden, and even helping when we had trouble getting back to the cabin. The location is convenient: you can take a bus to Orminge Centrum (with Systembolaget, Willy’s, etc.), and the SL ferry is just 700m away, taking you to Slussen or Vaxholm. The lake is only a 5-minute walk away. Best for people who want to enjoy cabin life and take it slow.🥰 My mistake: I had my family stay here but planned daily trips to Stockholm, which made them tired. Also, with lots of luggage, Bolt rides were costly and hard to book. It’s not that close to the city—either take 3 buses (~1 hr) or walk 700m to the ferry (~1 hr total), with limited schedules.

My daughter and I had a short but Fun stay in the cute little house in a quiet neighbourhood. The house had everything we needed to stay comfortable and cook. We used the bikes to see some of the countryside and make use of the bike routes. Matthias was very accommodating and friendly. We had the fortune to meet the whole family :) Highly recommended

We had an incredible time in Kristin and Anders beautifully renovated soldier's cottage with the highest possible standards. We loved the hot tub, dock and view. Anders and Kristin are dream hosts who fix everything and give lots of tips. I needed a small desk to work at and then they fixed it right away. Copies, tips on great restaurants, and curiosities about the surroundings, they also gave. Thank you kindly! We will be back and can highly recommend this idyllic gem! ❤️

It was a great stay!

We spent 3 nights at Axels. I would recommend a visit of 3 nights minimum if you are a tourist trying to explore and understand beautiful Stockholm. This apartment is very spacious and great for a family or 2 couples since it has 2 levels. The bathrooms are large and well laid out. The location is absolutely perfect! High quality restaurants offering diverse cuisine are nearby. If you like to walk, as we do, beautiful parks and impeccably maintained boulevards are found nearby in all directions. Thanks for a great experience!!

Emilia’s place was described accurately and looked like the pictures. The check-in was very flexible and the host was very quick about communicating the instructions. Maybe I didn’t see this in the description, but I did not know the home would be a basement apartment that had a separated upstairs apartment. Even with that detail, the apartment was very quiet and peaceful. It was located very close to a central area and there were plenty of nearby options for shops and restaurants. There were additional toiletries available to use, like shampoo, conditioner, towels, and toilet paper. Overall, this was a nice place for two people during our short stay!

The appartment was very well-equipped and perfect for one person during a long stay (one month). Birgitta and Anders are nice and caring hosts; the communication was friendly and easygoing. Issues with the internet connection were shared and quickly resolved. Gribbylund is a lovely neighborhood and the appartement is only 5min from a beautiful lake (which was frozen when I arrived, adding to the overall area's appeal). Walk trails are also available nearby in Täby. Groceries can be done in Täby Centrum (around 40min by foot): a Lidl and KFC are at around the same distance. A ICA store is located closer but I did not check it out. As a note, the ceiling is not specifically soundproof, so bring earplugs if you are sensitive to occasional noise (the main house is located upstairs and the garage is at the door). The apartment was beautifully located in the countryside and easily accessible by car. You could walk to the bus stop in 5 minutes, the bus went to the nearest metro station, which took you perfectly to the center of Stockholm. We felt very comfortable in the very stylishly furnished apartment. Absolutely everything has been thought of in terms of amenities. The kitchen was perfectly furnished, even though we didn't cook. It was all absolutely new and very well maintained. The bathroom was very large. The communication with Gabriella and her husband was great. They were always very responsive to any question. We can especially recommend this apartment. If we are back in Stockholm, we will definitely come back. This apartment gets 5 stars plus from us. Thank you for this rest with you.

Monica is a great host. She was always responsive. The apartment is big and there is a lot of natural light. It's really close to the public transportation system. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and clean space.

Our guests loved the quiet location and proximity to both the train, pizzeria and shop. Good location and nice with the opportunity to sit outside, use the grill if you want and still be close to central Stockholm!

We had a grand stay in Tobias place. Location is great and being in a cul de sac, nice and quiet. Place is small (toilet is tough if you have long legs!), but a nice place with good fittings. Tobias was very responsive.

Hanna & Anita's place was the perfect, cozy stay for our one week stay in Stockholm. They thought of everything to make the place feel like home, from the extra towels to coffee and tea; towels to sit on in the sauna and a clothes line inside the sauna. Anita went above and beyond during our stay. One example: After a long day of travel, we couldn't wait to relax. When we arrived to the place, it was warm and nicely lit. The sauna quickly warmed us up. If you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable place that is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still close by, we recommend Anita and Hanna's place. This was the perfect location for our trip—close to Stockholm Arlanda Airport and not far from the city, which made it super convenient. The home was just right for our stay: clean, comfortable, and peaceful. The host was very friendly and welcoming. We’d happily stay here again!

It's the third time we are staying at Iraj's place and it feels great - excellent location and the amenities, easy access to public transport and shopping mall. Highly recommended!
