House holiday rentals in Valle Crucis

We had an amazing stay at Robs Airbnb. My friends and I wanted a getaway for the weekend to spend time away from our routine and get some skiing in. The place was really clean and met all our expectations. Super spacious and lots of room for 8-9 people to sleep. Rob was also super responsive when we locked ourselves out, he immediately responded and helped us get back inside. Overall a fantastic experience.

Decided to take a quick trip for our one year anniversary and this did not disappoint . This place is beautiful and private . Make sure to get food before you go . You will probably not leave after you sit on the porch and get away from everyday life here . The little house is perfect and has everything you need for a get away!

We loved everything about our stay! The house was so cute, clean and exactly as described. Thoughtful and fun decor and toys for kids was a big plus. Tonyia was quick to respond and very helpful. There was a book of instructions/info in the house that was also useful. Overall this house was a perfect place to stay and we will absolutely stay again!

The view of the lake from the living room is one of the best in LandHarbor. The house is very well equipped - everything you need to enjoy, cook, a covered patio, and comfortable beds. I will be back again!

The condo was extremely clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The decorations and overall feel of the place is great. The pool was nice to go down and enjoy as well. The view is incredible and we spent a good bit of time out on the balcony, just enjoying the beauty and serenity. We have zero complaints and nothing but praise for the condo and hosts. We definitely plan to return! Don't be deterred by the need to use the shuttle to travel back and forth to your car. The drivers were great and the wait for them was just a couple minutes. The entire complex seems laid back, friendly, and very well maintained. Food, groceries, or entertainment is all within a few minutes drive. While our friends were sweating in Bristol at 87 degrees, we were a cool 72 up on the mountain. It is a great place to cool off and recharge in the Summer.

Our family loved staying at Jared’s home. Lovely space, quiet but easy to get to Boone and Blowing Rock. Plenty of room for a family of five and we will certainly try to stay here again next time we are in the area.

We really enjoyed celebrating my little sisters graduation with a girls trip here. The hot tub and the outdoor seating was the highlight of the stay for sure.

The hosts did above and beyond. They were very responsive and helpful throughout all my questions. Would recommend to anyone visiting boone. Beautiful location, private and very near blowing rock.

We had an amazing time at Catch and Release! The house was beautiful and well-stocked. We loved being outside whether it was making s’mores by the fire or taking a nice walk down to the river for a picnic. The neighborhood is out of the way and incredibly peaceful, but still close enough to Banner Elk, Boone or Valle Crucis for easy daytime excursions. Highly recommend for a family vacation!

Such a lovely place, so peaceful and quiet! Easy to get around and so close to the Blue Ridge Parkway for views and walking trails. Plenty of space and everything you need for a cozy vacation, would definitely come back and stay again!

It is hard to put a price on peace. This stay brought me so much peace! Out of three nights, I only seen one vehicle drive in and out. I never heard planes. You won’t hear traffic. The stars are so bright on a clear night! It could be helpful to have AWD or a high clearance vehicle to get in and out of the rock road and driveway but not 100% necessary as long as you keep momentum going. The barn on-site makes for a great photo op. Porch lights and flood lights are very bright at night and helpful. I love how easy the blinds are to go up and down. The AC unit was perfect and I kept it on 68° the whole time. Showers were always nice and hot. Towels and bed sheets are great quality. This space is perfectly in between Boone + Banner Elk with 20 mins to either location. If you’re looking for a getaway with no one to bother you or interact onsite with you with no sounds outside aside from the rushing streams and waterfalls… this is the place for you!! I decided to stay an extra night too!

Katherine was delightful to work with and had wonderful recommendations. Her house is a beautifully refurbished farm house that is comfortable, well stocked, and relaxing. My friends and I look forward to renting it again in the future.

From booking to che k out, Edward was extremely helpful! We loved the house and all it had to offer, along with the outside and beautiful surroundings. We were able to check in and out with ease and you could not beat the location! I would stay here again if given the chance! The wild turkeys outside will provide you with some free entertainment as well as the deer roaming at night!

This was first solo trip and airbnb experience and it was amazing. Everything was spotless and it was extremely nice to play house for a couple days. Kitchen has everything you need to cook and clean, the bathroom was a nice space to relax and wash, bedroom was beautiful and the bed was so soft. Their dog Buck hang out with me for a little bit outside on the patio one morning and was the sweetest thing ever! Both hosts I got to speak with were very nice and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this stay!!

Location is just about good as you would want. Just enough out in the peaceful wilderness but close enough to amenities when needed. Me and my brother stood out in front yard at night just in amazement at the lighting bugs twinkling in towering mountain tree canopy all around us JUST AMAZING ... Home is clean and wonderful with all you will need...

Such a beautiful little spot to escape to for the weekend. From the beautiful design to the peaceful sound of the river across the road every inch of this place makes for a peaceful retreat. It’s 20-30 minutes from Boone and Blowing Rock giving you plenty of options for places to explore and eat. If you are looking to come to this area for a relaxing getaway STAY HERE!

This place is very secluded in the woods, very scenic! I saw a bunch of deer! It was very clean, WiFi was in and out, not a great signal downstairs where the bedroom is. Place was very clean, great for my short stay. One thing, which Michele did warn beforehand, there is no cell service for a mile or 2 when coming in. Waze took me up Howell Rd, which is not correct! If you are coming from the south on Rebels Creek Rd go past Howell and then a left on Castanea St. Very easy once I figured that out. Also make sure to get groceries beforehand. Your only real option is the Walmart in Spruce Pine, the Ingles has been closed since the hurricane. Overall a great stay! All brand new appliances and very pleasant! A+ Will definitely stay here again!

My daughter got married in a nearby town and this place was centrally located to venue and grocery stores. We chose this spot mainly because of location and access to a full kitchen. The place was very clean and kept at reasonable temp, did not need to adjust. It is in walking distance to an eatery. They also had a well equipped kitchen to prepare meals, coffee and tea. Also full size washer and dryer, made it easy to do a quick load. We had tons of food left over from our events and the neighbors were happy to receive it. I would stay again!!

I truly cannot say enough about this location. The hosts responded quickly to any concern or question I had. The hosts support the visitors above and beyond with household items, super organized items and drawers, to include picture graphics for what is inside each drawer or cabinet, and very helpful instructions for use of the hot tub. The trampoline and zip line were also a wonderful touch for that extra bit of fun to make the stay worthwhile. love this place and will definitely look into staying again at some point in the future!

Very nice newer mountain home with a great deck and view. The two king bedrooms (plus a bedroom with 2 twin beds) were definitely a bonus and the beds were comfy while on the firmer side. Everything we needed was provided. Lots of games and puzzles with a reading nook and table and chairs in the loft. The home is decorated thoughtfully, efficiently and tastefully. Decor is modern and not fussy and very clean. Janet was pleasant to deal with and the location is very close to Boone and lots of family friendly attractions like Mystery Hill and Tweetsie only minutes away. Close to shopping and good restaurants, too. Would definitely recommend.

Very beautiful cabin! We loved it and would stay here again. The driveway was frightening but used 4wd and made it in the snow. The top of the driveway was iced over when we arrived which made exiting our vehicle difficult.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is exactly as described/pictured. The views were amazing, even with the rain we had during our trip. The hosts were so nice and very responsive when we reached out to them. Honestly, the only negative part about the whole place was the UNC cornhole boards in the basement lol (Go Duke!). But seriously, if you’re considering booking here, do it! We hope to be back sometime!

Beautiful home and neighborhood! Very peaceful getaway. Family friendly. Easy to get to Blowing Rock through back of neighborhood. Comfy beds. Melanie is incredibly responsive and went above and beyond! Back deck was covered with leaves and twigs from recent wind and rain - she shipped us a leaf blower same day so we could easily clean it off and enjoy it! We will definitely be back!

Awesome cabin tucked up in Banner Elk. A lot of family traditional places surround the areas making it a good hub for quick travel and fun. Plenty of space for a bigger family up a quiet mountain!
