The apartment is a wonderfully beautiful & peaceful place. My stay has been amazing, the sanctuary of calm & serenity I so desperately needed on a very intense work trip. I tend to get quite home sick when I'm away and this flat has given me the cuddle feeling you get when you are at home. I have no doubt that I will use the apartment as my go to if ever I need to be in Cardiff again. Also, don't be deterred by the traffic, it acts as a lovely faint white noise - it's fabulous for sleeping (and I'm a light sleeper)! I worked from the flat on one of the days, and caught myself meditatively watching the cars go past, the swans milling around and felt very serene. Thank you Claire, for everything, your place is amazing.

The flat was perfect! It’s close to cute cafes and the park. Cardiff is so easy to get around and lots of great places to eat. The space was clean and bright. Would stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay at Penylan Annexe. Superb Air BnB with welcoming and friendly hosts. Byron and Kate gave us recommendations for local walks and restaurants and were exceptionally helpful. The annex is well thought out, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

I really enjoyed my stay there. Felt right at home. Mr Akil is a real gem, he was very nice and decent as well Mr Allyn, they were very helpful and responsive. God bless their souls.

Geraint’s home is beautifully appointed in the most tasteful shades of blues and greys with thoughtfully chosen artworks. I particularly loved to wall sized historical map of the area and local parks and gardens. Public transit is excellent although city center within easy walking distance. There are several small unique shopping lanes where I was able to buy locally made Welsh cheeses at the Saturday farmers market. The little outdoor patio was a plus when the sun shone. Overall one of the best Airbnb experiences I have had.

Great place We had a fab stay Everything we needed for an overnight stay So we used the tv and wifi, both simple and great En-suite is a bonus We heard no noise from the neighbours SatNav/Google was a bit confused about exactly where the place is If you arrive without a car: We just got dropped by the Mini Morrisons Turned right, then left, not far down it’s on the left We couldn’t see any flat numbers marked on the parking spaces When you walk in go past the door to the flats The parking space is on the right The key-box is on the back of the post Entering the building was simple once we read the instructions properly press code/cancel then the number and enter if you are impatient like me Overall great place, great value, super communicative and accommodating host

on arrival we were a little late getting codes for entry but very quickly remedied via message, the yard (on approach to the house) was crack and broken concrete but didn't affect us at all. overall our stay was great with no other issues, flat was in great shape, clean and as others have stated we appreciated the jams, butter, bread etc ( thank you nice touch) overall we really enjoyed our stay. thanks kirsten.

Jane’s place was a fantastic base for me whilst working in the area. The bed was super comfy and the kitchen space and bathroom space as described with all amenities that you could wish for. I wish I could have stayed longer to explore the local area more but hope to be back in the future and would certainly look to stay here again. Thank you!

had a wonderful stay in Josh's place. initially I had some problem in opening the lockbox . josh replied promptly to my queries and the problem was resolved. excellent location very close to the castle. really liked the place. just one suggestion few more kitchen towels will help .

We really enjoyed our stay at Alison's - thank you for having us! The spacious apartment has obviously been recently furnished, and it was extremely clean. There was everything we needed, with a very comfortable bed with high quality bed linen. Thank you for the generous welcome basket, which was ideal for our breakfasts, and we enjoyed the biscuits too! All in all we thought it was excellent, and a great location for visiting St Fagans and our Cardiff cousins. Thank you very much to Alison and Luigi, and we hope to stay with you again.

The hot water tap in the shower needs to be repaired as it was very difficult to adjust to make it colder. The water was scalding and potentially hazardous to personal safety.

Beautiful apartment, great facilities, very clean and tidy. Quiet area, and a perfect stay for a short weekend, beautiful location by the river and great local coffee shop.

A really great place in a super part of Cardiff - ideal for our needs. Peaceful location but lots of places to eat and drink very nearby. Easy and very pleasant walk through parks to town centre. We didn’t bring our car and didn’t miss it! Lovely flat - was very clean, quiet and exactly as described. Pete and Nats very responsive hosts. Would definitely stay again!

Such a peaceful place to stay, short walk to the beach and coast. Views from the apartment were amazing down the dock. Asda a short walk away and plenty to do.

We had a lovely few days staying in the flat. The flat itself is very beautiful and immaculately clean. Perfect for our family of 3, the hot tub was amazing with a beautiful view of the sea and beach and was so peaceful relaxing on the evening with the sun setting. The hosts were friendly, responsive and gave clear, detailed instructions on everything we needed to know so we had no reason to contact them during our stay. The flat is walking distance from the beach or a five minute drive to the grand pier with lots of things for children to do. We would definitely stay here again, we absolutely loved it and had an amazing few days 5 stars for everything!

We stayed here for our wedding night. Absolutely beautiful accommodation, lovely touch of petals on the bed. Grounds were stunning and I even had a cuddle with the resident ginger cat. Would love to stay again.

This is one of the bests stays me and my mother ever had. Avinash is the sweetest host and very kind. The place is extremely cozy and homely, my mom came from India and she felt very comfortable and warm. Avinash even provided extra heating alternatives, in case it’s too cold for my mom which was really sweet. Thank you very much for the stay and the lovely vibe!!!

The whole place is an experience in itself form the front desk, to the staff, and the animals. Everything was looked after and shaped to look luxe, even on a rainy day. The accommodation was exactly how it was depicted, showing true heritage and a creative way of using the space whilst being a novelty everything was very tasteful. Great studio apartment with comfy bed, in a modern complex, just 20 mins walk from the city centre. Dean is friendly and helpful, and we were grateful for a late checkout. Kitchen well-equipped. Good shower. Quiet neighbourhood.
