Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Vaksdal Municipality

I was here with 9 friends to celebrate my birthday in a chill nature envoronment. We did a lot of walking and hiking directly from the house. It was beautiful and exciting. The living room is super cozy and great for playing games and hanging out with a group. Anne and Olaf helped us a lot to feel comftable and support us with anything we needed. Will come back. :-)

Susanne's place is beautiful, located in a wonderful, peaceful and quiet area, directly by the fjord. The house is fantastic and spacious and we felt right at home. The surroundings are wonderful, great hikes and splendid nature. We hiked to Middagshaugen (the hike trail starts really close to the house), visited Skjerhalden (just few minutes down the road by car) visited Bergen, did a Fjord cruise on Hardangerfjord and spent the rest of the time reading and cooking. We would recommend a car, as this makes getting around easy. Absolutely wonderful stay, would definitely come back.

Trine and her charming family are very friendly and accommodating. The nice apartment offered is in a 100 years old and well maintained farmhouse with a stunning view and with an immediate proximity to hiking in the mountains where you will find rivers with beautiful waterfalls ans crystal clear pools. This is as genuine as it gets.

Jan heeft een prachtig huis. Het ligt op het eiland, waardoor je steeds dezelfde weg moet rijden wanneer je iets wil ondernemen, maar dat weegt niet op tegen het prachtige uitzicht en de fijne rustige locatie. het huis is netjes, van alle gemakken voorzien. Op 1 kamer zijn gordijnen, verder niet, dat was even wennen als het pas zo laat donker wordt. Voldoende opbergruimte. Flinke badkamer met lekkere douche. Leuke activiteiten te ondernemen, maar wel een uur rijden minimaal (over een mooie route). we hebben erg genoten!

Nous avons adoré cette maison, décorée avec goût dans un style nordique et dotée d' une terrasse magnifique surplombant le fjord de Modalen, le logement est incroyable. L'un des meilleurs que nous ayons eu lors de notre road trip. Nous le recommandons vivement.

Lisa's place was absolutely wonderful! we stayed there on our way up to Flam and it exceeded our expectations. The small town was beautiful, the area was quiet and peaceful and the home was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

The cabin is situated Ina. beautiful stretch of forest in the heart of Voss. Close to the ski resort and various hiking trails. it is spacious with a large hall and perfect for large groups

Vi overnattet i to dager og var veldig fornøyde!!!! Vertene er veldig gjestfrie. Da vi, slitne fra veien, kom inn i huset, ble vi møtt med hygge, renslighet, varme og komfort. For det yngste barnet var det til og med en rekke spennende brettspill, som han var veldig fornøyd med. Og utsikten over fjorden fra terrassen er rett og slett fantastisk!!!!! Vi ville virkelig ikke forlate, og hvis mulig kommer vi gjerne tilbake igjen.🤗🤗🤗

A lovely place, beautiful views and friendly host.

Nice old house in beautiful surroundings. There is not much right there (no shops or restaurants) so you should have your own vehicle or have everything you need with you. We had a bit too much luggage for the walk from the train station (over a little hill and across a bridge), so Hroar helpfully drove our luggage back their on our way out.

Great place in Voss -- we loved the mountain/lake view and the apartment had everything we needed. There was also free parking on both sides of the building

En fin plass med nydelig utsikt og alle fasiliteter man trenger for et behagelig opphold. Kommunikasjonen med vertene var utmerket, og vi ble møtt med en hyggelig kompliment ved ankomst.

This place is awesome! Very clean, seems recently renovated, very welcoming. The roads there are spectacular, the view is great, and you might make friends with some sheep and horses. Lots of scenic routes, waterfalls and beautiful fjords within driving distance, so it's a great place to make day trips from. There's a grocery store in the next village (4 min drive) and you can rent kayaks across from the store. The lodgings had absolutely everything we needed, and you can light a fire if the evening is chilly. 5 stars, would love to return!

Die Unterkunft ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und schön modern. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl und wie zuhause. Randy ist super freundlich, führt einen durch die Wohnung und hat viele tolle Tipps für Ausflüge. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft - ein phantastischer Fjord und viel Ruhe. Sehr abgelegen und die engen Straßen erfordern ein Talent beim Rückwärtsfahren. Aber dafür ist der kleine Ort perfekt, um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und man findet alles, was das Herz begehrt. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und gemütlich. Das Badezimmer mit der großen Badewanne ist ein Traum! Der Ausblick aus dem Wohnzimmer ist unbezahlbar. Unglaublich zu beobachten, wie bei Regen mehrere Wasserfälle entstehen!

Josie's place is a fantastic retreat in beautiful surroundings. It's fairly off the beaten track but a short hop to Mo which is not only stunning but has a store, pool, library, restaurant etc... We were travelling with a 2 year old and Josie's place was absolutely perfect for us. Lots of toys, books and games (inside and out) walkable to the river and a lovely little toddler bed in our room. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle with no TV and WiFi. Lovely family time and memories.
