We had a truly wonderful stay – for all five of us! The house and the outdoor area were absolutely beautiful, even better than in the pictures. Everything was spotless, charming, well maintained, and well equipped. The garden was stunning, and the whole place felt peaceful and private. Ilaria and Francesco were the kindest hosts – helpful, responsive, and incredibly welcoming. We’re already thinking about coming back for a summer holiday (the pool and AC are perfect!). Great location for day trips to Pisa and Florence, and there are lovely restaurants nearby. It was an amazing birthday trip and really good value. Un de nos meilleurs séjours assurément !!!! Mattéo est un hôte très aidant et prévenant. La maison est juste un petit bijou au sommet de cette colline...une vue sur un paysage Toscan très inspirant du côté de la piscine (qui est une très jolie piscine)...bien que partagée nous avons été toujours seuls à en profiter !! La terrasse où l'on prenait nos repas est très agréable avec ces fortes chaleurs. La situation de la maison permet de rayonner dans la Toscane...Lucca, Sienna, Volterra, San Gimignano....et nous avons pu pousser jusqu'au Jardin des Tarots de Niki de Saint Phalle. Nous recommandons fortement un séjour chez Mattéo...et pensons y retourner une autre fois.

Die Unterkunft ist paradiesisch. das Haus, der Garten, die Aussicht, die vielen Details waren für uns umwerfend. Es ist ein sehr besonderer Ort und in jedem Winkel ist die jahrhundertealte Geschichte spürbar. Gastgeber Thomas und seine Söhne sind unglaublich gastfreundlich, wir hatten viele inspirierende Gespräche. Danke! Der Aufenthalt bleit unvergesslich und wir hoffen, bald wieder dort zu sein.

Wonderful place to either lay back and enjoy the picturesque-postcard view from the comfort of your front yard or the pool (which was refreshingly cool in June), or to go further explore Tuscany locations within reach. The house was beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you could ask for, ie a quiet and air conditioned bedroom, kitchen with a gas stove, fridge and a wood fired bbq and a jacuzzi + comfy seating outside. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance, max 10 minutes. Andrea is a fantastic host who clearly cares about providing the best possible stay for her guests, which she did. Whenever we return to Tuscany, we will definitely make sure to stay here at Palaia again.

Wij hebben een fantastische tijd bij de accommodatie van Nadia gehad. Het uitzicht is prachtig en een heel mooi zwembad dat goed onderhouden wordt door Giacomo. Heel vriendelijk ontvangen en kregen tips om te doen in de omgeving. Goede ligging vlak bij Lucca en in een mooie groene omgeving. Wij zouden dit zo nogj een keer boeken.

Wir waren heuer zum zweiten mal bei Maria und Massimo und kommen sicher nächstes Jahr wieder. Wir haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Ruhe ,die wunderschöne Natur und Landschaft herrlich! Massimo ist so freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Danke und auf baldiges Wiedersehen!

Villino Isotta è un alloggio che lascia senza fiato, super in ogni aspetto: posizione, pulizia, tutte le camere da letto sono climatizzate, le cucine ed i bagni ampiamente accessoriati, a pochi passi parcheggio gratuito e un caffè aperto fino a tarda sera. All'esterno un patio con vista sulle colline e poi il barbecue, e infine piscina dotata di ogni confort (doccia calda, vasca idromassaggio, lettini, wifi, ecc ecc). Ultimo ma non ultimo l'host Andrea, che ringrazio per l'incredibile e costante attenzione nei riguardi dei suoi ospiti dal primo istante (accogliendoci con un aperitivo di benvenuto) fino all'ultimo. Sempre presente ma mai invadente, sempre disponibile con consigli per rendere il soggiorno indimenticabile, una persona dal cuore immenso che gestisce con passione e serietà questo alloggio. E' stata dura tornare a casa, ci rivedremo sicuramente!

Piękna okolica, idealne miejsce wypadowe do zwiedzania Toskanii. Super miejsce dla rodzin z dziećmi (dostępne łóżeczko dla dzieci, a nawet barierka do łóżka dla dzieci które śpią z rodzicami 😉). Nicolo odpowiadał na wszystkie nasze potrzeby, a samo mieszkanie oddaje w pełni toskański klimat 😀 bardzo polecamy!

From the moment we were greeted by Isabella, Massimo and their son, to the moment we said goodbye we felt right at home. The house is well located. It was nice to leave the hustle of the old city and retreat to the expansive peaceful terrace of the house for an “aperitivo” before dinner. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well after long days of touring. One of our favorite things was collecting water from the town spring, which was just a few doors away.

Ranieri est un hôte très sympathique et très accueillant, il a toujours été très disponible pour nous conseiller durant notre séjour. Le logement est parfait, très fonctionnel et très agréable avec son beau et grand jardin. Le logement correspond tout à fait au descriptif. La région est superbe avec ces magnifiques villages, la mer et les forêts. C’est ideal pour faire de belles randonnées à vélo ou à pied. Les commerçants et les restaurants sont très accueillants. Il y a d’excellents restaurants dans les différents villages autour de Castagneto. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement pour un séjour en Toscane. Nous reviendrons ! C’était un superbe séjour.

Tommaso ist ein netter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Bei der Begrüssung hat er uns einen Korb mit Produkten aus seinem Bioladen geschenkt. Er hat sich sehr bemüht, dass es uns Gästen in seinem Haus gut geht. Er hat uns die Gasflaschen für das Warmwasser gewechselt und auf Wunsch die Heizung eingestellt und mehrmals nach unserem Befinden gefragt. Das Ferienhaus hat uns sehr gefallen, eine top Lage direkt am Meer. Die grosse Terasse und der Essbereich hat uns zum Verweilen eingeladen. Im Haus ist alles zweckmässig im Landhausstil eingerichtet, die Küche klein aber fein, die Schlafzimmer und das Bad genügten unseren Ansprüchen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten unsere Ferien geniessen.Wir kommen gerne wieder nach Castelioncello. Danke Tommaso für alle deine Bemühungen und dein angagietes Auftreten. Tolles Häuschen, liegt ruhig in der Natur. Zum Einkaufen und zum Meer mit dem Auto ca. 15-20 Minuten. Paola und ihr Kollege Paolo sind sehr hilfsbereit.

Letizia was already waiting for us at the gate and gave us a warm welcome, she showed us around the house and left a present. Fresh selfmade olive oil and apricot jam! Letizia is a wonderful host and responds very quickly to questions (with W-app). The location is about 10 minutes drive away from the beach and the wonderful inland of Toscane (and lots of restaurants).

Die Unterkunft war einfach super. Wir haben uns auf Anhieb wohl gefühlt und alle unsere Bedürfnisse wurden ohne zu fragen direkt erkannt. Kaum schien die Sonne standen zwei Liegen parat. Die beiden waren sehr herzlich und man sieht mit wieviel Liebe zum Detail sie das Haus saniert haben. Wirklich einzigartig. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr idyllisch umgeben von viel Natur. Ein Traum, um einfach mal abzuschalten.

We had a relaxing & peaceful time in Capannori at ‘roof tiles’ This stone home was not fancy but traditional and had all we required for our stay in the breathtaking countryside. It wasn’t the easiest to find or access due to the steep gravel driveway, but that’s what made it secluded and special. We enjoyed wonderful walks in the forests & nearby villages where we met many friendly & kind locals. A great place to decompress after a busy time in Florence, & only short but very beautiful drives to lovely Lucca & Pisa. Don’t expect 5 star fanciness, but a place with all you need to experience & enjoy the Tuscan landscape! I’ve never heard such a cacophony of birdsong - blissful !

We absolutely loved our wonderful stay at Susanna's and Carlo's. The apartment was well equipped, comfortable bed, welcoming interior, the views were stunning. It was really calm and it felt like home. Especially because Susanna and Carlo were such great hosts, friendly, helpful with good advice, they even organised to rent bikes for us. Also, the dog Peppe, gave us so much love, such a sweet dog, we really miss him. We witnessed the arrival of two cute cats and how they met Peppe. It was hard to leave. We absolutely recommend to stay there! Grazie mille per tutto, Susanna, Carlo and Peppe!

Cannot say enough about how great this little gem is- great location for outdoor activities and stunning beautiful scenery. Very quiet on the top of this hillside Road… With lemon trees in an olive Grove how much better can it get! You can see the town of Vinci and way beyond from this height. The hosts could not have been any more kind and generous with their time and suggestions. Simply a wonderful Airbnb!

Such a wonderful gem of a place to stay. Views were top notch and all within walking to our favorite dinner restaurants and town center. Just an amazing experience and location. Rossana was a great host- very communicative. She decorated her place with really nice special touches. We will return!

Smukt og fantastisk er nøgleord, der beskriver sted, hus og værter. Udsigten er udsøgt og spiller i samspil med de fantastiske værter, der var meget imødekommende og serviceorienterede til mindste detalje. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen på det smukke sted for at nyde udsigt og søde værter. De bedste anbefalinger fra Copenhagen. Pia og Peter

Les photos sont très représentative , un séjour à quatre est très agréable. La vue du balcon est paisible. Avoir la possibilité de stationner l’auto devant la porte est un plus. Les épiceries sont à 15 minutes, et les restaurants sont dans un village voisin.

I took this trip with my sister to San Gimignano and it was absolutely incredible! The views from Egizia’s house were just stunning and breathtaking! From the beginning Egizia was very easy to get into contact with about any questions that I had. She gave wonderful recommendations and booked everything for me! We went to a winery that she had suggested and it was great! The Pilates instructor Giulia was also amazing! And with the hills as our scenery it was such a cool and incredible experience! My sister and I had so much fun! This was an unforgettable trip! We’ll definitely have to come back again!

Sylvia was an amazing host from the beginning! She came to meet us at the check-in and made sure all our needs were met any time of the day. She was very sweet and made us feel right at home! The place has a very nice hot tub facing the mountains and it gave us some beautiful sunset views! 10/10 would recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was as pictured and described. It was a bit too cold for us to swim, but we did enjoy spending time lounging by the pool. The surrounding area is beautiful! Olive trees all around! Wineries, restaurants, and grocery store all close and convenient. Allessandro was great! Very responsive and gave us a ton of tips and information about the area. He was also super flexible with check in and check out times. WiFi was great, kitchen was stocked better than mine at home! Anything you could ever need! My only tiny complaint is that there wasn’t walking/running paths nearby.
