Holiday rentals with a patio in Vaca Key

We had a great time staying at this property. We liked it because it is very easy to get to, has it's own beach, and has plenty of room for a family. Key Colony is a real gem IMHO. We wanted a property that put us in a central location in the keys - 45 minutes to Islamadora, a little over an hournl from Key West, but in a place that is great for snorkeling and water activities. This place fits that perfectly. The property is easy to check into to, Yuni give a code in advance for the door. Parking is under the building in the shade (big plus) and right in front of the elevator. Super convenient! The kitchen is nice, we cooked meals on probably 3 nights. Beds were comfortable and there is a washer/dryer that is really nice to have on vacation. Great host for sure. If in the keys again I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again as it was a very positive experience.

Rhonda's place is terrific! Lovely location with full water views. Pool was excellent. The home was very comfortable, clean and convenient to restaurants and stores. Would definitely rent again.

This place met all of our expectations. The Unit was so clean and beautifully decorated. It was literally 50’ from the sandy beach, and a one minute walk to Sunset park. The beds and pillows were super comfortable, bathrooms had complimentary soaps, shampoos, etc. I will DEFINITELY come back here again. If you are thinking twice about using this condo, don’t! It’s freagin awesome. You won’t be disappointed.

Don't underestimate the HUGE benefit of having unlimited access to the Cabana Club! This is a big perk with a private beach, pool and snacks. Really nice on days that you want to just chill with your family and relax. The house itself if amazing inside and has a great spot on the canal. Perfect if you want to rent a local boat or bring your own. The location is walkable to several parks and there are walking paths around the area. Farmers market and several restaurants are walkable. Really nice location! The process and the host were top notch. We are very picky about our rentals and we were impressed from start to finish...we will stay here again!

Indira’s place was very clean and so relaxing for our family. We liked watching fishing boats come and go while sitting in patio. Marathon is a great place to visit with so many family friendly parks and attractions nearby. I recommend it.

We enjoyed a week at this place. Everything was perfect. The view was excellent and it was very quiet. The place was very clean and I was surprisingly happy with the amenities. The community pool was well kept. I will be recommending this place to family and friends.

Danielle was an incredibly communicative & accommodating host, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The apartment was spotless, spacious, and exactly as described—if not better. The outdoor space was absolutely beautiful and even more impressive than the photos. Our kids had an amazing time spending their days outsid whether it was fishing off the dock, kayaking, lounging in the sun, playing with the games thoughtfully packed in the closet, or swimming in the pool. The location is perfect close to great restaurants, shops, and excursions. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in the Keys, I highly recommend booking this place. We had the best time and can’t wait to come back! 😎🌴

Overall the stay was pleasant. The surrounding was peaceful and scenic. We saw many Key deers. The room was ok, but the bed was not comfortable. We saw a lot of new construction going on around the area, so may be better accommodation will be available in the future. Robin was always reachable and replied to every question quickly. Good for the buck.

Everything was excellent. Only complaint would be the bicycles. One bike was usable but the seat was loose and we didn’t have tools to fix it. The other adult bike’s chain was rusted so bad it wasn’t usable. We still had an excellent experience.

This was the perfect house and location for a vacation in the Florida Keys. I cannot say enough great things about the fabulous house, especially the amazing outdoor space. It was set up very nicely for relaxing and entertaining outdoors. The pool was fantastic and we had manatees come up in the canal, which was amazing. Had a wonderful outdoor cooking space and lots of designated seating areas. Loved the screened in dining area up on the deck as well. This location was so close to fantastic restaurants and shopping, and I lay an hour to Key West. We rented a boat that we kept right in front of the house in the canal and could hop on it and go right out into the Gulf which was great for fishing! Everything was clean and just as described, we would definitely stay here again! ❤️ 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We loved our stay at Jeffery's house. It is spacious and very comfortable. My husband appreciated the proximity to the pickleball courts - we could see them from our bedroom windows- and my son enjoyed fishing off the dock. The upper suite was wonderful for privacy and quiet when the older kids stayed up later than the adults. Jeffery was super helpful and responsive. We would love to stay here again!

Walking distance to stores & the beach. My family loved using the bikes. There are only three, not four as listed, but our family made do. We enjoyed the pool and watching the manatees in the canal. Definitely a wonderful place to stay!

This spot was great! The home is spacious, incredibly comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. It’s located at the very end of an inlet, offering a waterfront setting but I wouldn't call it picturesque. While we didn’t have a boat, it looked like getting one in and out would be easy for an experienced boater. The house was spotless—you can tell a lot of care goes into keeping it clean. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, with soft sheets that made for a great night’s sleep. Everything related to rest and relaxation was truly top-notch. The home is well-stocked with basic necessities for living, though if you have specific cooking preferences or comfort items, you should make a quick trip to the store. The neighborhood is very quiet, with the exception of some occasional noise from the nearby airport—but that’s just part of being in Marathon. Parking was easy, the pool was great, and everything matched the description perfectly. We highly recommend

Our family of four stayed for a week in mid April and had a great time. Karen’s place was convenient to access all of our activities. We fished, went snorkeling, and visited pigeon Key. Lots of good restaurant options within just a few miles. We would definitely stay there again.

What a great week we had at this wonderful getaway! We got to watch the manatees off the dock. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful with idea of what to do in the area. We rode our rented bikes down to sunset park every evening to watch the sunset. We also found a great state park/beach just a 20 min bike ride away! The house had everything for us to use for our morning trips to the beach (coolers towels beach chairs). The house had outdoor furniture we sat at to watch the Key Colony Christmas boat parade! We will definitely be going back next year!

We loved our stay at the Dapper Dolphin! The space was so clean. Kate has everything there for you - from beach chairs to laundry detergent! This apartment is conveniently located to great restaurants, attractions and Sombrero Beach. You are just a short walk to the pool at Skipjack Resort. They have poolside karaoke on Monday nights which was very fun. Highly recommend booking this place - we miss it already!

Angela’s space was neat, clean and well stocked. When we had questions, she answered immediately. When we couldn’t find a can opener she quickly brought us a new one and even included a sweet treat! We couldn’t be happier with our stay. Thanks Angela!!

We had a great stay! Exactly as pictured. Kitchen was fully stocked, lots of extra blankets, pillows, towels, & even beach towels. Great location and walkable to restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, ping pong tables, & shuffle board. Great location to travel to other keys & plenty to do on Marathon. Loved our stay!

Great experience, great host and accommodations. Hot tub wasn't working while we were there, but repair was delayed over the holiday week which was out of the hosts' control. Very communicative and responsive.

Great place to stay in the Keys!!

We had a wonderful stay at this location. I recommend it highly. The setting is quiet. Sitting outside on the patio, drinking morning coffee, looking at the ocean, was definately a highlight. The unit was very clean and well stocked with bedding, towels,etc. Duck Key is great for walking. Resturants are easy to get to. We fished most of the time. There is a marina to rent boats less that a 1/2 mile away on Duck Key.

Beautiful townhouse!! Very clean and lots of room with both bedrooms having their own private balconies also a screened in patio that walked out from the french sliding doors in the living room. Not to mention the beautiful blue ocean right out the back door. 10/10 highly recommend this property Great hosts and a great home!!! Would definitely stay here again Thank you!!
