House holiday rentals in Vaca Key

Plenty of room for all the family and their families. We enjoyed all the backyard amenities with pool, kyacks, boat dockage and fish cleaning station. There was sufficient seating for everyone and a great area to hangout. The only things we struggled with was TVs didn’t work properly in some of the rooms, no washcloths or kitchen towels available. With that being said, we will definitely consider renting Ryan’s place again in the future!

My family and I really enjoyed this home the pictures do not do it justice it’s beautiful. The owners are very responsive and we were even able to check in a day early ! The canal was awesome , a boat is a must and so much fun. We saw manatees and iguanas. The private pool was fun all together a great experience.

Omg what can’t I say about the house. Beautiful! Very friendly neighborhood. Extremely clean and beautifully maintained. The host were available and responded so quickly. We loved it and will be back! Thank you so much for sharing paradise with us!

The house was exactly how it was described online. Everything was well marked. Lots of stuff to do at the home. Very spacious and well maintained. There were only 7 of us, so lots of extra space. The pool is on the perfect side so your not blasted with the late afternoon sun. However, there is a huge umbrella in case it is needed. Kitchen is fully stocked so nothing was needed. There is a BBQ grill as well as a flat top which is nice for outside cooking. The only thing I would recommend is to bring your own pillow if your a particular pillow person (we love our feather pillows), house pillows were not feather ones. If you rent here and have a boat definitely go to the Sombrero Lighthouse to snorkel. Never saw so many fish in one place. The Conch Cafe and Coast to Coast pizza are both great food restaurants and walkable from the home. Publix is so close it was a daily visit. Truly enjoyed the week stay!!!!!

Jorge’s place was super beautiful! We loved staying in key colony. Charming little neighborhood. The windows give you a beautiful view of the canal, everything was clean, we had everything we needed! We loved keeping the boat right there on the canal. We fit our large truck and trailer at the place. The patio provided lots of coverage through some rainy and windy weather. Jorge was always friendly and responsive. Also super close to the cabana club! He even left us champagne and chocolates which we enjoyed for our anniversary! Looking forward to booking our stay next year.

The Grouper house was fabulous. I stayed there with my wife and kids for a week. Everything about this place was top notch. From booking to check in and check out. Her staff is nothing short of superb. Sean makes sure every need or question is answered promptly. The best place I have ever stayed. Highly recommend.

The house was beautiful!We thoroughly enjoyed all the outdoor spaces.With 4 bedrooms and an 8 month old, the house offered many spaces for everyone to be comfortable. The beds were comfortable and we were all well rested. The rooftop area for grilling and chilling was amazing. The outdoor seating area off the main level was where we celebrated Father’s Day dinner. Morning snuggles were spent in the seating area off the den.The pool area was where we laughed and swam and had many a cocktail. We loved our week as a family there and had no reason to leave except for a few dinners out.Andy was very responsive, dropped off bagels one morning and a great resource for recommendations. Highly recommend Anglers Terrace as we loved our week there!

It was a great place inside and out. We had drinks under the tiki hut where it was cooled by the tropical breeze. Being on the ground floor, we seniors never had to climb stairs and the grounds were very even. The dock area was in fair shape but watch out for the small coconuts dropping from the palm trees. The laundry room was good and the machines were very clean and large capacity. The barbecue grill was ok, but the propane unit was rusty and the flames were very inconsistent. We enjoyed ourselves at the Cabana Club where the pool was great and the food there was the best for lunches and drinks

Sandra’s conch cottage was comfortable and beautiful and very clean. Provided all the necessary items for the week. The location of the house in Marathon is perfect to all amenities. I would definitely come again.

Wonderful Stay! Place was super clean and nicely decorated with minimal decor. (Sometimes places are over decorated and busy) Beach Towels were provided. Kitchen was organized & clean. Pool was nice! We brought our small dogs and the grounds were very pet friendly. Jessica’s recommended list of restaurants was spot on! Had a great time eating at several of the places. Would visit again and recommend to others.

We booked this home last minute and now have our go-to vacation spot in Marathon! Alida is a friendly host with great communication. The home is very clean. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, etc. The kayaks and paddle board made our vacation even more special! The steet is very quiet and peaceful. The setting in the back yard is very private, as is the long dock. We had a 23' rental boat for our stay. The view is amazing and the sunsets are a special treat each evening. I very much appreciated the ample, comfortable seating everywhere - inside and outside of the home. Thank you Alida. We made great family memories here!

The location was great. It was perfect for me and my husband. Kris was very communicative and replied almost instantly. Definitely would stay again.

Stunning location, very comfortable with plenty of space for 10 people. When we arrived we never felt like leaving. Beautiful pool and hot tub surrounded by palm trees, sandy area with great fire pit, gorgeous outdoor eating area and kayaks to drop from pier. Very private location with spectacular sunsets! Fabulous!!!!

We spent an amazing week in this home. Very comfortable and quiet. The pool was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Marathon is hands-down the best place to stay if you want to explore the Florida Keys, and Rachel’s place couldn’t be in a better location—right in the heart of it all. We were a group of five and the house was perfect for us. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxed, easy stay. The layout gave everyone their own space, and the sleeper sofa was a great bonus—surprisingly comfortable for the kids, with what seemed to be a memory foam mattress. One of the biggest perks of the location? Herbie’s Bar and Chowder House is basically across the street—and it ended up being the best food we had during our entire week exploring the Keys. Seriously, don’t miss it. Whether we were snorkeling, kayaking, or heading to Bahia Honda or Key West for the day, everything was within easy reach. After long days out, it was great to come back to a peaceful, homey space. Rachel was a responsive and thoughtful host, and we’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Very nice place in a great area

We came down for a weeks vacation brought two boats, plenty of space on the docks. Communication with Meredith was great. Great location.

From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had found our own private slice of paradise. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the comforts of home—plus the added bonus of breathtaking ocean views and island vibes. The location couldn’t have been better. Tucked away in a peaceful part of Marathon, we were just minutes from everything—the beach, boat rentals, amazing restaurants, and the iconic Seven Mile Bridge. The property itself was incredibly well-equipped: a fully stocked kitchen, super comfortable beds, high-speed WiFi. What really made this place stand out was the outdoor space. The private dock was perfect for fishing and sunset cocktails, and the pool made it hard to ever want to leave. We even spotted dolphins just off the dock one morning—unreal! Beautiful clean inviting home! Comfortable and felt right at home. Our family had a great vacation here! Location was perfect for our stay as our family loves to Scuba dive, snorkel, fish, explore museums and nature and just relaxing and eating out.

Book this house! Very comfortable and well stocked with everything you need from pool towels to kitchen amenities! The house is in a quiet area with ample parking and only a couple minute drive from all the restaurants and attractions Marathon has to offer. A few key features to note. The screened in pool and outdoor outdoor shower were such a nice touch after being on the boat all day, the ice machine was priceless to refill the boat coolers everyday and not have to spend a fortune on ice at the bait shop! Beds were comfortable, couch was large and accommodating for my family of 4! The house was clean and bed linens were good quality. Plenty of outdoor seating from chairs to loungers. The fish cleaning station and power plug in station for the boat were a nice touch. Vaca Cut was a short 5 minute boat ride North or you can head South by boat 5 minutes to the 7 mile bridge. We will definitely stay here again!

The place was perfect for our needs. Pool, tiki hut, and canal were great. The beds were comfy as well. Daileny was quick to respond and accommodating.

We had a wonderful family vacation at Naomi’s place. The place was perfect for our family of 4. There was so much to do to keep our active family busy. The house was well stocked with everything you may need for meals. Host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We rented a boat and the dock was perfect for storing. We are looking forward to staying here again on our next visit to the keys!

Great place! Exactly like the pictures. AMAZING heated pool! Very clean. Ruth was an excellent host! She had fresh flowers, toiletries and even snacks and breakfast items to get us started! Most Airbnb’s you have to provide your own TP, paper towels, trash bags and soap but not here! Ruth had the place very well stocked. We will definitely be returning! Thanks for a memorable Thanksgiving week Ruth!!

Karen’s place was amazing. Sitting on the deck and fishing was fun to do during the day and in the evenings when we wanted to relax. We were visited by manatees and saw some very cool fish in the canal. The location was perfect right in the middle of the keys with an hour to get to key west and key largo each direction. Local restaurants were bike riding distance. The house was clean and very nicely taken care of. Most of the local neighbors were nice or the people who owned the surrounding homes as vacation homes. Except for the guy who owns the house directly in front of Karen’s closest to the street, yellow house I believe, he had some rude things to say regarding us fishing but it’s not Karen’s fault the neighbor was a rude person, all the others were lovely. We enjoyed our stay so much and would love to return one day.
