Vaalriet Camp - Fishing & Birding Paradise

Enjoy the tranquility and privacy of Vaalriet Camp, close to the banks of the Vaal river. Guests enjoy full access to a bass dam on their doorstep, as well as 10km of the Vaal river meandering through natural wetlands, home to a large variety of fauna and flora. Ideal for fishing, bird watching, star-gazing, or simply a weekend away for nature lovers. Otters, fish eagles, serval cat, meerkats, mongeese and duiker are in the area.

Rondawel - Queen bed

Each 18-sqm thatched-roof rondawel contains a comfy queen-size bed and a private bathroom with a shower and basin, and separate toilet and basin. Each fully carpeted unit contains tea/coffee, wardrobe, table, 2 chairs; extra child beds can be added.

Garden View

Garden View is a comfortable, self-catering unit equipped with a double bed, a private bathroom with a shower, a dining area, and a kitchenette that is equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, stove, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

Luxury Riverfront Chalet

Each double-storey thatched-roof chalet has an upstairs bedroom with a double bed. Downstairs, there is a kitchen, a fireplace and 2 single beds in the living area. The bathroom has a shower. There is a braai area in front of the unit.

Luxury Self-catering Cottage

This luxury cottage comprises 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The cottage features a fully equipped kitchen, and a cosy lounge and dining area with a fireplace and TV. Guests have access to the giant chessboard and Weber in the courtyard.
