Idyllic archipelago cottage

Cozy archipelago cottage on the lake property with its own dock, patio and fully equipped kitchen. The cottage is located on the island Långgarn, 7 minutes by my boat from Söderby pier. Can also pick up/drop off by car at the commuter train Tungelsta station, included. There is free car parking at Söderby pier. Access to 2 kayaks, 1 paddle board, and wood-fired sauna with outdoor shower. Close to a public sandy beach, 200 meters. Nice outhouse with lake view. Very nice walking paths around the island, which is about 3 km long. There are no stores on the island.

Lakefront cottage of 40 sqm with large windows facing the sea and the jetty. Large porch with outdoor furniture. Wood-burning stove in the living room with 1 basket of firewood included. You can buy extra bags of firewood. Open kitchen with oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker, tea kettle, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Living room with sofa bed (140cm) and table/chairs. Bedroom with 2 beds. Toilet and shower. Canoe and life jackets are available to borrow. Pets and smoking not allowed. Bedlinen and towels are included. The cottage is 45 min drive from Stockholm.

Hallontorpet

In the middle of Utö with walking distance to beaches and amazing nature is this little gem. Perfect for those who want to have peace and stay in the middle of nature. The house is perfect for two people but works with, for example, 2 adults and 2 children. Just a few minutes walk to the sea and nice swimming. In summer there is a cozy neighborhood tavern just minutes away. "The community" The mine is about 4 km away where several restaurants, grocery store, etc. are located. Get off the boat at Spränga pier. To keep in mind. A tour only goes to the Mine.

Fresh air in quiet forest environment

All on its own, at the edge of our property is our little cottage in a forest clearing. It's calm and quiet here. Only nature and at a stone's throw distance, there is a warm swimming lake. The whole area is traversed by lovely walking paths and it is just under one km down to the bay. Herrbret, which we call the cottage, has a lovely deck in a sunny position in the front. Everything is fresh and newly built in the old-style but with modern standards and equipment. The cottage is intended as a nice relaxing oasis for two people in the vicinity of nature

Stuga vid havet på liten ö i genuin skärgårdsmiljö. 1 tim. från Stockholm City Matplats och bädd för 2 personer (madrass finns om ni är fler), öppen spis, pentry med liten ugn. Bastuhus med dusch och mulltoa. En härlig utsikt över Horsfjärden. Grill samt roddbåt vid egen brygga. Två kajaker finns att hyra för 400kr/st/dygn. Ön angörs av oss som hämtar med egen båt från Mickrumsbrygga på Muskö. En båtfärd på ca.5 min. Det finns ingen affär på ön. Lakan och handdukar ingår.

Cozy cottage near the sea

We spent three days out on Utö and this option suited us perfectly. Very nice host with a cozy place to stay and clear instructions. Extra plus to also get bed linen and towels. Walking distance to the water and easy to get from the boat with walking distance to the nearest jetty. We'd love to come back here in the future!

This is a perfect base for exploring an exceptionally beautiful island. The cottage is comfortable, relaxed and stylish, with everything we needed for an amazing holiday. We loved biking to the shop for cinnamon buns, watching moose and eagles, swimming in the beautiful Baltic, and watching the sunset over the sea turn the world golden. All this and so easy to get to from Stockholm. Anna’s communication was perfect- swift, friendly and helpful. We’d love to come back 😊

We would like to thank Dan and Nora for the wonderful stay and their hospitality. The location of the accommodation is unique and soothing. The simplicity and proximity to nature allow you to relax. It is worth taking the boat to the nearest pizzeria. We can highly recommend the accommodation.

This home was a retreat! My family and I had plans to go into the city but instead we decided to stay and enjoy all this home has to offer. We didn’t want to leave! Ghadeh was wonderful to communicate with as well.

We felt very comfortable in Katarina's accommodation for three. Katarina's care is great. Location was perfect - in the middle of the island. In 5-15 minutes, all the highlights were reachable by bike. The island is super relaxed, people are very relaxed and there are very few cars. Gladly again.

Ocean view, comfortable and renovated on Utö

Stunning environment, most beautiful nature, absolute silence and a swimming jetty within 5 min. The house is very charming, well equipped and has all you need for a wonderful holiday in the archipelago. It was great to have decent bicycles that take you to every corner of the island within < 30 min. Supermarket and an excellent bakery are at 20 min cycling distance, the closest restaurant is only 5 min off. Don't miss the fantastic beaches around Stora Sand! Most beautiful hiking trails that often follow the coastline. Interesting history of Utö's mining industry with a small museum that's worthwhile a visit. We didn't use the cool wheather amenities as we had two weeks of warmth and sunshine. But there is a sauna, a fireplace in the house, as well as lots of books (in Swedish) and movies for such occasions. Tack så mycket för allt, Gustaf & family!

Cozy guest house on Utö

Lovely peaceful cabin in a beautiful area full of wildlife. Nice decorations, comfortable beds, bath spacious, kitchen maybe a bit small if you have to cook for 4 persons, but Kenneth made the most of the available space. Shop with Sunday opening was easily reachable by bike, which I rented from Kenneth at very reasonable cost. Note that the fee has to be paid in cash, which I did not have in suitable change, but Kenneth sorted this out quickly. The transport from and to the ferry was very nice by "flakmoppe". Utö and neighboring Ålö are extraordinary scenic and just in the right size for biking. Kenneth is a very friendly host and even speaks good German. Would love to visit again!
