You will have a bedroom, living area, kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven (no conventional stove/oven), bathroom w/ tub & shower, pingpong table, laundry, and patio with fire ring. You may hear piano music weekday afternoons, since I give lessons (usually 3-6 pm; a bit earlier in summer) NEW HEATED FLOORS w/thermostat

Enjoy the onsite wooded hiking trails, golf across the highway at Ferndale Golf Club, enjoy the SE Mn. biking trail or tube/canoe/kayak the Root River- both only 2 miles away. Snowmobilers-jump right on the trail from the property!

The cottage features a private front and back entrance, large backyard, and woodburning fireplace. Our hope is that The Driftless Retreat is just that, a retreat away from the every day. When you book this home you are truly wanting to unplug... 1 bedroom loft cabin nestled into 20 acres of trees, valleys, and corn fields. This is roughing it! Natural deep woods within a gully between fields, you’ll find this spot a wonderful sanctuary for wildlife. Follow the few scattered deer trails on the property and explore this natural place.
