Renovated Walzer house 15 mins by car from Alagna

Our chalet is a renovated "Walzer" style barn. We are a Belgian family with 3 children and a dog and love this remote quiet place in the Valsesia valley. We enjoy hiking in the mountains or just walking in the valley or swimming in the river that passes by on the back of our house. We love skiing in the nearby "Monte Rosa" or "Alpe di Mera" Ski domains (15 or 10 minutes respectively by car) and enjoy cooking with local produce savoring local wines (Gattinara, Ghemme, Barbaresco, Barolo, ...)

"La Casa dell 'Arco" takes its name from the entrance arch, a typical element of the architecture of Frassinetto, which characterizes this historic house. Its oldest nucleus presumably dates back to the 13th – 14th century. The unit is made up of three rooms with attention to detail to rediscover the warm atmosphere of the alpine houses. The living room with a sofa/bed and fireplace precedes the kitchen and to complete a beautiful room with shower and a comfortable and equipped bathroom.

Close to the towns of Valtournenche and Cervinia (about 3 km) but still isolated from the chaos, it is the ideal place to relax, observe enchanting views, listen to the silence of the mountain, play sports and take fantastic walks starting right from the house!

The accommodation is located in the center of the Aosta Valley, in front of the wonderful castle of Ussel that you can admire from the small terrace at the back of the apartment. It is located about 10 minutes from Saint Vincent and is an ideal starting point to visit Aosta or Cervinia, which are both about thirty kilometers away.
