The bike path is 1/2 mile from the house and easily accessible. You will enjoy the quiet wooded location of this completely renovated "cozy" 500 Sq. Ft. one bedroom cottage. What an amazing stay!! We loved The Betty! We stayed for a night after traveling around Iowa for the weekend and it was a perfect fit after busy days. The camper is adorable in its vintage style and perfectly maintained; everything was clean and so comfortable inside and out. The location and surroundings are beautiful and peaceful (hello, stars & fireflies) and close to the cities if you wish to venture off the property. We enjoyed the multiple places to sit, have fires and wander. I loved, loved the farm animals, particularly the friendly barn cats who made our evening fire that much more fun and relaxing. If you like quiet spaces, clean comfort, and friendly farm stays, just book it! I am so happy I did!

Excellent communications with response within a minute. We were here for our annual trip to Iowa to visit friends and family and it was a perfect location. Extremely pet friendly with a beautiful fenced back yard. We enjoyed sitting in the back yard listening to the birds and watching the wildlife ( squirrels and rabbits) and so did our dogs. Will diffidently will try and stay here again.

The beautiful sunsets are worth the stay alone! The place was so peaceful and was great for our dogs. Dan provided clear instructions and was very responsive. We had a minor drain issue, but he was quick to respond and more than willing to come fix it.

We came from out of state for my daughter’s wedding and finding enough hotel rooms was a challenge. Jeff’s place fit the bill with more than enough space for everyone, spacious rooms and a great deck for our morning coffee and breakfast. Sprinkle in deer in the fields and fireflies at night making his place truly relaxing for all of us.
