We had so much fun saying at the Hippie House, it was the perfect setup for our weekend stay! We came with nothing specific on the itinerary, and left with memories to cherish forever! Our hosts shared a lot about the area - places to eat, things to do/see, which was great since it was an area we’d never been to! The waterfalls were beautiful, the food was great, and we’ll definitely be back!

The Peace Retreat! Privacy, FUN & Gr8 Memories!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Peace Retreat. The location could not have been better, with Lake Michigan just a walk away, and the beautiful trails for easy walking behind the property. We loved the yard set up, with a campfire ready for us to enjoy, the hammocks, and little paths to enjoy the property. We loved all the extra blankets and quirky furnishings inside the home, and it was perfect for us to enjoy a mother daughter weekend.

Absolutely love this place. I think me and my family were the one of the first handful of guests that stayed at this place when it was newly listed. Since then, I always look to see if it’s available because me and my family love the quietness and peacefulness of the area and it’s pretty easy to get in and around the city from this location. Definitely another one of my favourite go - to Air BnBs!

Everything is just as described. Perfect place to disconnect from the world. Craig is an amazing host! I will definitely be returning next year. If you’re a fisherman, bring your gear. Plenty of pike in the lake but be advised entire lake is very shallow. Had good luck with a #4 Mepps-yellow/orange with a gold blade. Good cell service with Verizon. Dollar General just 5 miles away for any last minute needs. Thanks Craig!

We had a fantastic stay here! The location was perfect—easy to access yet peaceful, providing the best of both convenience and relaxation. The amenities were great, and we especially enjoyed the hot tub, which made for a perfect way to unwind. The only thing we wished for was a queen-size bed in one of the rooms for those who had to share, but that was a minor detail in an otherwise wonderful experience. Overall, we highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back!

I would highly recommend Ryan’s place for anyone traveling to the Marquette area. Ryan was very friendly & helpful, the space was just as described, check in was easy with great instructions and the area was beautiful. Ryan and his family live above the Airbnb but you could hardly hear them. The space was comfortable and well stocked with everything you would need. I definitely plan to return next time I’m in the area.

Was everything we expected and more. The sky and tranquility were amazing. If you go in the fall make sure you stop by the pumpkin barn and get some of the best apples of your life. It’s a perfect location if you’re looking to camp and just disconnect for a while.

Amber's space is the coziest place I have ever had the privilege of staying. Every nook and cranny has a treasure hidden there. We were incredibly comfortable during our late fall stay. The wood stove brings a lovely ambiance. We made some delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen. The gas stove is impressive. The bedroom loft is absolutely beautiful with the natural wood ceiling and half moon window. Even the drive in adds character to the stay. Amber provides written directions to locate and navigate the mile long two-track through the woods to the cabin as using google maps will take you to the wrong location. The cherry on top of our stay was the two delightful cats that live on the property. They are characters and incredibly friendly. We can't wait to come back.

Last minute booking to be able to stay up at Boyne for one more day of snowboarding. Wasn't too far away and responded very quickly. Worked perfectly for what we needed it for. Went to warm some food up and had no plates, messaged Eddy and he brought some paper plates and wrapped disposable silverware down to us almost immediately.

Kelly and Jami’s place was spacious and comfortable, and our entire group was easily accommodated with room to spare. The hot tub and fire pit were perfect for cozy, memorable evenings, and the fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the baskets of throw blankets throughout the house, which made the space feel even more welcoming. Although we didn’t bring our children this time, we noticed the home was well-stocked with toys and supplies, a detail we truly appreciated as moms. We’re already looking forward to making this our spot for our annual weekend getaway. Highly recommend!

The house was very well furnished, yard was perfect for a nightly bonfire with friends and family. Close enough to town where you could easily get groceries, fuel, or simple go out to eat with no worry about it being a long drive. The house was located perfectly around multiple trailheads for ORV riding (within 20 mins). The only thing that I can say that was a downside to the rental was the amount of kitchenware. For a cabin that sleeps 10, there were limited plates, bowls, mixing bowls, and utensils.
